Fingerboard Extension

I’ve always been treated like gold in here — had all my guitars worked on with great work and very reasonable prices.
Plus you need to check there every month of so for gems they may have had come in.

I’m hot and cold on Fingerboard.
On the one hand, they are a cool store with lots of stuff (drums, strings, and the like), and a knowledgeable repair department.
On the other, much of their used stuff is on consignment (and thus overpriced), and they sometimes won’t bother to call the owner to negotiate. Maybe that isn’t their role, but why they think it would be a good idea to use even an inch of floor space for a used kick pedal with a piece of cloth instead of a chain and think it’s okay to ask more than a few bucks for it is beyond me.
I’m a drummer, and their sticks and heads are spendy, too… also, they’re closed the entire month of August. In these days with customers having so many other options than they did in years past (Internet), this seems like a poor business decision.
All in all, a cool store that might have a gem or two, but you also might leave a little frustrated. Worth checking out every few months.

Great place for instrument repairs. Got my banjo repaired and set up in no time, and for super cheap!
Great store for banjos, fiddles, acoustic guitars and whatnot. Also has a selection of mostly used electric guitars and drums.
