I had my subwoofer installed in this place. The staffs were nice and professional. 3 weeks ago, they installed my rockford sub and amp. The installation result was very professional, although there is few cable that still exposed(i figured it out and it is neat now). The installer forgot to put the fuse holder safely and I came back and they fixed the fuse box without charge. SWEET ! Also, I ask a opinion about getting a new car door speaker. They have so many brands, but the downside is limited demo for car speakers. They also understand they customers, by not very pushy to customers to buy stuff. Definitely will recommend this shop to friends.

So far so good. They did a $ 1500 install of speakers, amps, and sub. They were careful to document the job with photos before they started which I think is good. I would be sure to stick around the first hour to talk about speaker placement if there is any question. They will make assumptions about placement of speakers, amps, and subs so, if you have an opinion on where things should go or be mounted, tell them. Other than that, customer service was great and the system rocks!

The Stereo Store is an awesome place to go for audio. The staff is incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. They helped me get a sub-woofer in my truck when I had fairly limited space and it sounds awesome. I would definitively recommend these guys.

Got a new stereo installed for my honda civic. They were very helpful and considerate. They saved me $ 90 when they found out I didn’t need new back speakers. They also got me front left firing after bringing it back in. The manager helped me setup my bluetooth for my phone to stereo in the car. Thanks guys!

This place was once good, but has gone way downhill. A couple of weeks ago I asked for some work on my $ 2000 stereo I bought there a year ago. The counter guy was great but the installer didn’t want to bother with me, and he did a less than lackidasical job, left a big wire coil hanging on my gas pedal(not safe), didn’t fix it, didn’t look the right place to fix it, and flat didn’t treat my $ 50,000 car with any respect, even scratching the dash where he pulled it out. I’ll be taking it somewhere else and I won’t be going to these guys again for any of my stereo needs. Sad to see a business not take care properly of their past customers. — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — update: 05−23−12 I have to modify my other review as my experience and opinion completely changed on this, and raise their rating to 5 stars. This place rocks — did a huge install for me a few years back on my brand new van — had to gut a bunch of wiring on a very expensive van to install a different GPS and entertainment system. Takes some trust to let someone rip into your month old van. They did a killer job — but better yet is the service I’ve received after the sale. One time they pulled the whole unit and replaced it at no charge well after the warranty period was done. I JUST had another very pleasant encounter with them doing something for me and was treated like gold by their manager Ryan. He pulled my unit for me at no charge just to get me a serial number — and discussed that privious problem — but the front end staff are great — just the installer leaves much to be desired.

The conduct was rather unprofessional. We hired The Stereo Store to run HDMI cable from a wall inset where the TV was mounted down to the floor. A number of existing lines were already installed, included electricity, coaxial, and some sort of speaker connection from a previous tenant in our unit. The installer did not install metal guards to protect people from accidentally cutting/drilling into the cable once the drywall was patched. The installer also did not clean up the mess he made from cutting into the drywall because he did not have his equipment. The installer also did not have the correct wall face plate for the HDMI, so he installed a face plate with extra holes in it for items that are not present. We were charged $ 15 for 2 face plates that cost $ 2 at Home Depot. I hate to think what the cable would have cost if we hadn’t ordered it ourselves.
