I don’t know why I haven’t tried this place sooner, it’s awesome! The food gets out fast, and you get plentiful, quality food for what you pay for. Best of all, it doesn’t make you feel greasy like most Asian foods do. They also have great customer service(the people that work there are so sweet)! I know where to go when I’m on a lunch and dinner crunch now.

I got dumpling soup with chili sauce, ITWASBOMB. I didn’t have any expectations since it was my first time and I just wanted to see what it’s like. Owner is super friendly and polite. Food came out quick and it was one of the best dumplings I’ve had(comparable to Din Tai Fung and you know what a big deal that is). Chili sauce wasn’t too spicy but just enough. Everything was cooked to perfection.

My favorite soup/noodle house in town. Well they have a little bit of everything. The pork belly is amazing too! The owner is such a sweet heart! Best hospitality and a super clean kitchen. Can’t ask for anything more. Closest thing to real Chinese food I can find in town.

Had the beef stew noodle. Was a little spicy with a deep rich savory flavor. The noodles were cooked perfectly, not too soft. Not too oily as some other places in town, I found. I highly recommend. Good, inexpensive and quick. Bring cash!

Small and humble place that’s usually packed but well worth the wait for seats or quick takeout. You know it’s good when all the Chinese students are filling the seats. I haven’t tried the whole menu yet, but the Dan Dan Noodles and Suan La Fen bring back memories of travels through central China. As far as I know it’s the most authentic Szechuan in Corvallis.

Tian Fu Noodle has the BEST authentic Sichuan noodles and beyond! Sichuan cuisine is one of my favorite, and I can have the real delicious food here. Service is also excellent. I could not recommend more of this restaurant. Please go in and have a try, you will definitely have a better understanding of what’s the authentic Chinese food that is absolutely different and way much better than Panda Express or another typical Americanized Chinese restaurant could offer.

Best real Chinese food I’ve tried. My girlfriend is from China and she referred me to this place, I now know why. Additionally, the service is always wonderful and the restaurant is always clean. I recommend it to anybody that asks me about a Chinese place. I’ve tried the same dishes at other restaurants and they are in no way comparable, specifically that Dan Dan Noodle. One of the best dishes you’ll ever have. Go to Tian Fu Noodle, it’s highly recommended!

Lots of Asian people eat at this little hole in the wall all the time. Thats how you know it’s good chinese cuisine. I HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone looking for a good bite of food. They do only take cash but finding an ATM is well worth the mouth watering dumplings(my favorite). I have tried almost everything on the menu and every single item has been a complete hit. The savory meal accompanied by their cold lemon water is something I look forward to every Sunday. The nice owner is a music teacher at Oregon State and loves chatting with customers. Don’t miss out on this gem of a restaurant!

I finally got a chance to try this place, I never have cash on me until today. I had the spicy cold noodle with chicken($ 8.50). Very flavorful and not too salty, there were a lot of chili oil though. If you want to try something different, go here and get this! It’s so good! So different compared to the food you get on campus and Monroe. I would definitely get it again. The owner is really nice too!

I was sad when Bento closed down so I was really excited to see this place open up again. I tried the pork belly with rice and my friend got the beef noodle soup. I was extremely disappointed. The rice had a weird taste to it and the pork belly was really salty and had left a horrible after taste. I’m not sure how«authentic» this place is but food definitely did not taste like this in Guangzhou, Hong Kong and Shanghai when I was there… It is a large country so maybe I’m missing out on something(I’ll keep it that way though). The place is very clean and plain which is not bad at all. Lots of yellow in the interior. The guy who took our order at the counter was really nice. FYI they only take cash. Our meal rang up a total of $ 18.00. Big portions but again, horrible tasting food from my point of view.

If you are looking for some amazing authentic Chinese fare, don’t look any further in Corvallis than 14th and Monroe at Tian Fu Noodle. The owner, Jay Chen, is an accomplished musician and a native of Sichuan Province and brings his amazing spirit and experience to creating wonderful simple and authentic dishes. Having traveled to China on numerous occasions, I have often complained that most Chinese restaurants were created for Americans not really interested in Chinese food. The place has quickly become a favorite of the many Chinese students on campus. This place is a God-send. Now, if only Jay could get a larger place and do some hot pot!

We went to have our family dinner tonight! I had beef stew noodle, my husband ordered Tian Fu noodle, and kids got Napa dumplings! They were all excellent! Flavorful and reasonably priced! Especially, if you are a spicy food lover, you must be to try their Tian Fu noodle. My new favorite chinese restaurant in town!

Got some really solid roasted pork noodles today for lunch. I was super worried when Bento closed down, but Tian Fu appears to be an able successor. I watched others in there eating dan dan noodles, dumplings, and several rice dishes(looked like Taiwan-style). All portions were plentiful and service was pretty speedy even though they were packed. The whole time I was in there, I was the only person to order in English, which I always take as a positive sign. So, why only four stars? The two dings I would give the noodles are that(1) they could have been a bit more toothsome; and(2) the broth was well-seasoned, but a bit thin — I would have liked it to be a touch richer(i.e., more gelatinous). I’ll be back — frequently.
