Tried to get a few items at this store from the 40% table. Found a nice orange polo but only one item for my size was available. That polo got medium size stains on the front. The manager didn’t want to accommodate the situation by giving ONESINGLEDIMEOFFBECAUSETHEITEMSALREADYONSALE. I made an online complaint. The District Manager for Southern California called me. His solutions was just to invite me for their Columbus Day Sale in October. Basically he wants me to spend my money on their store after I wasn’t accommodate it. Non sense of business by management or the arrogant District Manager. You ALLCANGOTOHELLANDDIEOFAIDS. Thank you.

The customer service of the sales staff was excellent here, notably Chelsea and August. They were very helpful and friendly. I found great sales deals here, with prices far below expectations, so was very happy to find some nice designer merchandise. The South Coast Plaza is a mecca of designer labels and high end couture. Whether you like Prada, Cartier, Gucci, Versace, Hugo Boss, Burberry, or any other name, the South Coast Plaza can solve any decadent 1st world problems of solving fashion emergencies. I’d encourage checking out AX, as it’s a good store and there’s less«sticker shock» here too. Armani Exchange is very stylish. Parking of course is easy since it’s located in the South Coast Plaza mall.

What is with the employees? All I wanted to do was purchase some items. I went to the register to pay and this woman(her name was ANDREA) ever so slowly walked behind the register and asked me, with major attitude, if I wanted to buy the items. I said«Yes please.» She stared at the register and asked me again if I wanted to buy the items. I said«Yes please» again! She kept asking me the same questions over and over again. I kept having to answer REALLY slowly. At the end, I just wanted to get out of the store. The whole process was excruciating. It took her about 5 minutes to put my stuff into the bags. She kept spacing out. She kept staring off someplace. I seriously wanted to ask her«Are you high? Are you drunk or something?!» It was unbelievable. Never again will I go back and I will be returning everything at a different location. I do not have the patience or energy to deal with the employees who work here. And by the way, I found out that Andrea is the manager. Great huh? Manager… what a joke.

I’m a fan of Armani Exchange because they are pretty much one of the very few stores that make clothes that fit me. I have a pretty small frame and can get XS shirts here. The clothes are also stylish, though a bit expensive speaking purely of fabric quality. I really don’t like the other Armani lines, they are just consistently not unique, drab, and over priced. The layout of this store is great. I have been to a number of A/X’s and this remains my favorite. Service is for the most part friendly also.

Walked in looking for a particular item — distressed leather jacket. Initially, the sales lady was eager, but when I asked if they had what I wanted, she said«no…» and started fiddling with clothing for whatever reason. So I browse around and find 3 styles distressed leather jackets. While none of them interested me, I’m just annoyed by her… ignorance or lack of help. Not sure which it was.

Armani Exchange is in my all time favorite shopping center… South Coast Plaza. I don’t care for the majority of their clothes that have their name plastered in bold. Also, most of the clothes here aren’t age appropriate for someone my age. But once in a while, I can find something cool and not plastered with the AX logo. I don’t want to pay to be a walking billboard for this place. I’d rather be paid to advertise a place like one of those goofy sign holders that you see on the street! I did buy one of my favorite pairs of jeans at the Armani Exchange in Honolulu about a year and a half ago. I didn’t wear them that often, but they started to rip at the butt seam. And no, my butt didn’t rip the jeans apart! Anyway, the manager here let me exchange my ripped favorite jeans for another pair. He gave me the credit for the current sale price of the jeans, which was $ 68(and I think I originally paid $ 75 for them), which I thought was a fair and reasonable deal. I did find a pair of jeans I liked, so with the credit, it only cost me an additional $ 16. Nice!

I have never been to a retail store with worse customer service! I went there to return an online purchase. When I told the salesgirl it was a return, she was already snooty about it. Then she didn’t know how to process it, so had to ask someone else for help. The sales guy came over and said to me «well, that was an expensive mistake!» While he was processing the return, he said to me, «you know they give you a label to return by mail». I’m thinking to myself, «I’m already here, and it says you can return it to the store, why’s he telling me this?» When he was done, he proceeded to lecture to me that I just set them back on their work with my return and now they’re behind because there was a line, so I should be careful in the future not to do it again. He repeated this three times and was so rude and condescending. What??? It’s their job! There were 2 other sales people ringing up and only one other person in line. I was so shocked, I couldn’t even say anything, and so insulted and mortified that I just wanted to leave the store. I have never had any problems returning a purchase to a store before, and have never been spoken to so rudely and condescending before by a sales person. I will NEVER buy anything from armani exchange ever again!

Men’s and women’s clothing and accessories. There are some cute bags, too. A/X has great customer service. I like the styles, sales and the music they play in store. I also like that they don’t vanity size. They don’t label a Medium as a Small, the size will be marked as a Medium. I think that’s best.

The salespeople can be quite curt. Come to think of it, even the phone/online customer service is like that. Maybe it takes a certain type of personality to work there. Most of the time, they don’t have my size. I just go there to return things, which begs the question, why am I shopping there in the first place? As for the clothes… Avoid: Logos(or at least the ones you can’t take out with a seam ripper), most sweaters(esp. those with blended fabric; some literally fall apart after a laundry cycle — worse than H&M). Maybe: Jackets(only when they are on sale, but most feel a bit stiff, better off with G-Stars), Knits(cotton only) Recommend: Shirts(slim fit ones don’t have that«clown» effect from BR, BB, JCrew and pretty much all other American brands), Solid Pima Cotton T’s(x-smalls fit like C-IN2’s smalls but the hem runs a bit short). PS most of the knits, T’s and sweaters tend to shrink — a lot.

It’s like choosing a right girl for you… Armani Exchange is someone i would consider courting classy, hip has the right attitude and if she’s a girl, unique. =) But by the end of the day i want some one i can go home to… with a smile. Which is Zara… trust me on this

How I LOVE there clothing! Armani Exchange’s merchandise is so fierce, but won’t take half your pay check! Great store and the employees are always extremely helpful and accommodating! Minus one star for there messy selves– things are always unfolded and tossed around.
