Nice looking complex & well landscaped. People waited with great anticipation to move in here, which of course was 4 – 5 months later than they were told. Now they can’t wait for their lease to end. Apparently, the great engineering & building of Legacy Partners(A Segerstrom Company) couldn’t figure out how to design enough parking for the residents. If you come home after 7 pm don’t expect to find a parking space inside the gates. I guess that they didn’t expect people 55+ to have cars let alone drive. Continued complaints to the office just caused the office to say they don’t want to hear it anymore and blame it on the owners. The«security gates» are always broken. The Concierge can’t seem to come up with any ideas for some resident activities except to show old movies. There should be something more interesting than tacoTuesday’s for $ 5.00. The office staff is very unprofessional and seems to be joking around when you walk in with a business question. They seem to change the rules when they feel like it and then without any notice they added on a $ 20.00 charge listed under a sewer charge. It seems that the owners didn’t plan the property tax fees correctly and have now decided that the resident’s need to pay for it. No forewarning or notice. It’s really nice that there is Storage Rooms to rent. A year later they are raising the fees 2 ½ times more than the original cost. The best thing about Azulon is the maintenance crew, they are very nice & friendly.

I wrote one of the first reviews and rated the place 5 stars back then. I’ve lived here almost a year and currently have a different opinion. The most annoying thing is the parking situation. Mind you, everything is gated… except the office staff leaves the big truck gate open during business hours, where anyone and everyone can come into the parking lot. Not a secure situation. And they’re not diligent about making sure the pedestrian gates automatically close. The gates are a false illusion for security. But worse, the parking was not well planned at all and the office [so they say] is powerless to do anything about it. They never assigned parking spaces in the residents’ «gated» lots. First come, first serve. Because there aren’t enough spaces to accommodate the residents, the only way to guarantee a spot at night is to lease a reserved spot at the tune of $ 120 a month. That’s what I’ve been doing ever since I came home at 9 one weekend and couldn’t find a space. You cannot park on the street. You cannot park overnight in the Von’s/CVS lot either. So where are you supposed to park? There are approximately 10 or fewer guest spots at the end of the building. However, the people in the apartment complex across the street tend to use them because it seems they have a parking problem, too. Think about it… about 200 units, mostly retired people. They have friends, family, and caregivers, housekeepers, etc., coming over daily and there’s no place to park. There is a lot by the leasing office, but it is off limits between 8AM and 6PM. There are about 20 spaces for«future residents.» The place is fully occupied, so I wouldn’t think there’d be much traffic coming to see vacancies. [BTW — last I heard, they show an apartment by appointment only. So really, how many spots do they need?] It appears that the management is a third party firm outsourced by Segerstrom. They have no power. Or that’s what I’m told. I told them they need to take it to Segerstrom… but do they? If it’s true that the office staff have no power, then hopefully Segerstrom corporation is reading this message. They have before them an opportunity to create a great complex, but for whatever reason, they choose to turn a blind eye to residents’ complaints.

«Love Where You Live» should be Azulon’s Brand /motto. I moved into Azulon in Jan of this year. I explained to the leasing agent the amenities I was looking for. She showed me exactly the right apartment. The leasing office staff is always so pleasant and helpful. The community manager does an outstanding job taking care of all the residents… which I know can be extremely challenging sometimes. She does an amazing job! I Love Where I Live… it’s like living in a brand new 5 Star Hotel with all the amenities

6−8−15: By the Way, There’s Another Favorable Review by Resident L. S., That Isn’t a Recommended One, Because He Didn’t Give a Rating. I Just Moved in to the New Azulon Apartments(Age 55+) Less Than Two Weeks Ago. It’s High End Resort Living. It’s a Beautiful, Well Designed, and Well Constructed Property. My Rent is Pretty Reasonable. The Sound Characteristics Are Pretty Good It Seems, Probably Much Better Than Any Complex You’ve Lived In. It’s a NOSMOKING Property Thank God. It’s a Gated/Secure Property, With Plenty of Covered Parking. It’s Pet Friendly Apparently. I Am the First Person Living in My Unit. I’m on the Fourth/Top Floor With a View of Fashion Island and Hills/Mountains Beyond. I Have An In Unit Brand New Laundry/Washer/Dryer Machine(Stacked; Works Well); There Are Brand New Stainless Steel GE Appliances, Including a Microwave. There Are Marble Counters. I Have a Ceiling Fan in My Bedroom. I Have a 9 Foot High Ceiling Versus the Usual 8 Foot. There is a Saltwater Swimming Pool, a Nice Large Clubhouse, a Workout Center, Etc. Also, at the Back of the Complex There is a Walking Exit to Von’s &CVS That are Just Behind the Complex. I Highly Recommend That You Check This Great Place Out! Ciao
