Casa Granada Apt

They go by Coast Apartments now. I love this place. There is lush landscaping everywhere which is always tended to. Never dying or overgrown. They keep this place clean. The apartments are in a bit of a commercial location and next door to Orange Coast College so you get a lot of foot traffic, but that doesn’t bother me and my apartment windows face the street.
This place is also super pet friendly. Tons of big dogs here including a few Pit Bulls, some Labradors, and more.
We moved in 3 months ago and have nothing bad to say about the apartments.
As with the rest of the OC, parking isn’t great. You get one assigned spot for a 1 bedroom, any other spots you need are on the street. But that’s not the apartments’ fault.

An awful place. Management is the worst! Great place to live if you’re a drug addict, drunk, or drug dealer. The rent has been increased by over 20% in the last 2 years, plus they make you pay for trash (always overflowing) and water and if you want more than 1 parking space. The manager resides on the premises but never notices the shady people, fights, late night partiers, people disturbing the peace of the other tenants. Her only purpose is to serve rent increase and collections notices. My apartment had a broken heater and A/​C unit for 2 years, along with noticeable mold, even mushrooms growing out of the ceiling! Repairs aren’t made, heavy turnover of tenants. BAD element. Cheap renovations (granite-​like counters, old tile, cheap flooring, few cupboards painted over so many times they don’t close properly-​and no hall closet). Not a bad place, as long as you don’t mind being constantly disturbed, having your vehicles vandalized, and being gauged by greedy property owners who could care less about the safety and comfort of their tenants. RUN, don’t walk away from this place!

I lived here for seven years and had very few problems. Monica (the manager) is great. Interiors are totally passable and the inner atrium is surprisingly lovely (picture a well groomed jungle).I MISS THE POOL!
