FOODFOODFOOD!!! So good. I tried many food items on the menu and everything was delicious. My favorite is meat n cheese board to start with n arugula salad with chicken. Prices r reasonable and portions good size so u really get what u pay for. Hands down to the cooks!!! Ambience is not so much, kinda need remodel(red carpet) …service is alright but it depends who ur server is :) They have live music which I totally hate cuz it’s very very loud so u can not talk at all. I try to come there after the music. Big plus is outdoor seating(smoking patio) it’s heated n great for people watching. Great daily deals! I recommend this place to my friends n I go there regularly cuz of the great food.

Went there last night and was considering eating until I walked it. They have this gross carpet inside that place smells like garbage… And on top of that the bartender didn’t know how to pour a drink. Stay away

So happy I finally decided to stop by here and of course on Taco Tuesday!!! This place has $ 2 Mahi Mahi tacos and $ 1 ground beef tacos — that are soooo good! We also ordered truffle fries and me and my friends are every last crumb! It comes with 3 dipping sauces — ranch, ketchup, and a spicy sauce that is really good! I can’t wait to come back and try something else! Everything is decently priced and we also had really good service!

Come here for Monday night all you can eat $ 6 spaghetti or weekends for breakfast pizza. It’s always an enjoyable vibe and it changes day or night. It can be really busy on Friday nights since the triangle is my weekend starter place! Try the mimosas here, the hibiscus is my favorite!

I found this place only few weeks ago and i’m totally obsessed with their salads. All of them are delicious. Plus they have my favorite wine too so what’s not to love. Service is also great, all the girls are very friendly. Awesome place…

Soooo… we were making our rounds hitting different bars at the Triangle Square. We’ve been to the Black Knight before and it’s been a pleasant experience this far. UNTIL tonight. This is an ice cube for the drink WITH a spider frozen into the ice cube. WTF??? And when we told the server, she was like…“shrug…it happens.”

The stuffed jalapeños were so freaking good! I got the cheese and meat board and a few beers! The portions are large and I definitely ordered way to much food! Customer service was attentive and our food came out quickly. I look forward to going back next time I’m in the area!

Two visits for brunch. Two terrific experiences! Extremely reasonable brunch menu! Both visits I opted for their Crab Cake Benedict and my wife their Bacon Waffles. They were not only extremely tummy but at $ 12 and $ 5 respectively a genuine bargain! $ 7 Brunch Cocktail specials top it off. The BK Bloody Pint is an extremely tasty version of a Bloody Mary complete with a mini grilled cheese and slice of bacon in addition to the normal accouterments. $ 7 «Cup of Joe» with pick of poison is also a great deal! They advertise other weeknight specials that look to be very good as well! We are looking forward to our next visit!

Great vibes, great food, great people, and okay service. I would have given this place a 5star review but the service was slow due lack of the help. Sunday’s you get all you can eat wings for 10bucks which is amazing! Also get a table in the patio and relax. You can be as loud as you want and still get a nice view. Stay away from the bartenders. They tend to be very prissy with non-locals. Other than the service this place is ok

Love black knight! Great food and wine Wednesday deals. Free flatbread or cheese board with the purchase of 4 glasses of wine! jalapeño bacon mac n cheese and the ahi poke tacos are some of my favorites so far on the menu! We thoroughly enjoy the wine as well. I tried tap wine for the very first time here. I ordered the Pinot noir it was smooth and went well with our free cheese board!

First of all, I would like to compliment the chef/cook on the quality of food. Our table ordered: Kale Salad, Chicken Buffalo Sliders, 6 orders of Mahi-Mahi Tacos, 3 orders of Black Knight Tacos, Beer on Tap, and 2 orders of Don&Sons Pinot Noir. I have to say the the food was excellent and cooked to perfection. Second of all, I rarely write bad reviews. However, I feel the need to comment on tonight’s customer service experience. Our waitress’ name is supposedly«Kat» but on the receipt they had her name as «Meow». Ok, I got it! It’s suppose to be cute! But not so cute when it doesn’t match her customer service skills and personality. When we started ordering our drinks, I already felt the awkwardness about this server. The feeling of being stereotyped is something I haven’t encountered in awhile so I was taken back by her attitude. However, the nice me, always gave servers the benefit of the doubt(because who wants their food spit on, right?!?) The whole night after dropping our food on the table; our waitress«Meow» hardly stopped by our table to ask if we need anything else. We had to call her a few times to ask for condiments and water refill. She walked around without breaking a smile. She seemed as if she was not enjoying her job as a server or that she does not want to be there tonight. Anyway, long story short, we asked for the check and paid the bill with a credit card to close out our transaction for the night. My family and I were still relaxing when our server grabbed the folder with the complete signed check inside. We closed out the check leaving no tip on the signed bill($ 0). My brother and her girlfriend was going to leave CASH for tip on the table. «Meow» came back a couple of minutes later when she rudely dropped the folder back on our table and said, «I don’t know if you guys did that intentionally». I’m assuming she was referring to out $ 0 tip on the check. She walked around showing her bad emotions. If she didn’t want to be there tonight or she wasn’t feeling well, then, rule of thumb, don’t be there with a bad attitude and not serve your table right! Because of this rude circumstance, we didn’t have a choice but to ask for the manager. Few minutes later«Taylor» came to our table. We addressed our issue and told her our experience. Unfortunately, the manager was actually Sam. Taylor said that she was also the MANAGER and the SERVER. I don’t know who to believe at this point. Bottom line, Taylor(supposedly the other manager) did not address our concern on a senior managerial level. She said, «I’m sorry for the way she acted, she must be having an off day». Yes, I understand, everyone have their off day. However, don’t bring personal emotions to work. If you really want to be there, be there 100% and serve your customers with a smile. If not, then take the night off. Moreover, Taylor should’ve addressed our concern with a solution. Perhaps, the managers are not ready to step up to the level and may need some additional training on how to handle communication with customers and how to treat everyone equally with respect and show no stereotype attitude.

Came here for lunch with my best girlfriend in the middle of the day for happy hour. The place was empty at 1230 and she told me that she came here often for their cheap tacos. I ordered their mahi mahi and beef tacos and a pint for a great price. My friend also ordered a few tacos and a soda. Total, the bill was around $ 25 which was a fabulous price for lunch. The beer selection was large and the waitress suggested a beer that I really enjoyed. The waitress was great, very friendly. The tacos were not great but cheap. They were really greasy and messy but like I said, the price is right. The inside was beautiful, mostly black, sleek looking. It’s half open air and we sat outside and had a great view of Costa Mesa! Overall the place was decent and I’d return to try more things on the menu.

Great place to come and hang with friends and have a few drinks. Atmosphere is decent. Love the fact that the lights are dim. The patio area is great! Didn’t get to try any food, but looking forward to going back for a bite to eat!

I’ve been here a few times and have always had a good time. There was once where we came on a busy Saturday night. We needed a table for 11 people so it seemed impossible since all the other restaurants in the area was full. Black Knight was able to accommodate us. Their service has always been excellent. They are fast with their orders and the girls working are always awesome with requests. Everyone there is always friendly. I’ve tried the following and their descriptions: Calamari– It’s perfectly cooked and flavored here. It’s worth getting and I recommend it.($ 8) Crab Cakes– It was good but only two pieces came with mostly a salad. This is good for those with only two people. The portion is rather small. The crab cakes were done really well and I recommend if you want to share with only one other person.($ 12) Meat & Cheese Board– There were a variety of cheese, pastrami, salami, and sausage. There were also olives, a strawberry, and different bruschettas and sauces. For the large portion with different variety I thought the pricing was good.($ 12) Beer Battered Onion Rings– Again this was a very small portion. They literally give you two large onion rings. They were large and good but clearly not enough.($ 5) Truffle Fries– These were okay. I didn’t have a strong taste of truffles but still very good. THey come out like string fries which I like.($ 7) Beef Medallion Skewers– I think an order came with 4 skewers. These were pretty good and I recommend them.($ 12) Bruschetta– These were also very good. It had plenty of toppings and the bread was good.($ 12) Jalapeño Mac & Cheese– Yum! I love some Mac N Cheese but I also love Jalapenos. It gives it a nice kick.($ 8) I’ve also been here for happy hour and their pricing is pretty cheap. This is a good place to unwind after work, have some drinks with some friends, or to just have some fun and hang out. It’s actually one of my more preferred place to drink compared to the other restaurants in the area. I like that it’s not as big as the other places but we can always find a place to sit and hang out.

Finally went to this place and I loved it! I’m usually going to Yard House or La Vida Cantina but my boyfriend and I decided to come here on wine Wednesday and we were not disappointed! We each drank two glasses of wine so we got the complimentary cheese plate and oh my! delicious! I was actually stuffed but my boyfriend ordered their Italian sandwich and it was really good. And top it off, their French fries, I swear, are from In ‘N Out haha!!! So good! I munched on those. The sandwich was so big he had to take the second half home. I ordered their Pinot Noir and Sauvignon Blanc… I loved the Pinot it was delicious! I wish it was Wine Wednesday every day haha. I can’t wait to go and try their daily Happy Hour deals, their food, service and ambiance is great!

We happened to end up here for Taco Tuesday this past week. It was pretty much a full house almost with only a couple of tables unoccupied. We were able to grab a nice comfy sofa/booth area towards the back. Win! Anyway, the waitress greeted us promptly considering how busy they were. We had a couple of waitresses helping our table and they were all so nice and attentive. Another win! I was in a margarita mood and asked the waitress what can get us straight to the point and she recommended the Cadillac margarita and it definitely packed a punch. What we had: truffle fries, Thai pizza, beef tacos, baja tacos, and hot wings. I didn’t get to try the tacos so can’t really comment on that, but my friends said they were good. Hot wings and truffle fries were my fav. The Thai pizza was really doughy with chunks of cold chicken. Flavor was there but ehh, wasn’t great IMO. Overall, we had a good time here so we’ll be back!
