We reserved a lane here for my 25th and it was great. It was $ 130 for us to rent it for two hours with showes but that was split between 6 people so not bad at all. We had a lot to drink that night and the food and drinks were great and reasonably priced. Bowling was fun, private lane was nice. The only negative I had was that once we started bowling we didn’t see a server or waiter the entire time. This might not be something they do but I was pretty use to something like lucky strike where you have a waitress come by. Over all was fun and will go back soon.

watching the super bowl and it’s a great atmosphere! The bartender whose the blonde hasn’t came to check in on us much. But I understand and I had I told her that I needed a minute to see if I wanted to actually order something but she never came back which I thought was rude. But whatever. All in all good place

My wife and I went here for a rare night out. We arrived about 6:00 on a Saturday and the bar area was not very busy. We sat for a while and finally a waitress came and we ordered a pitcher. She walked away and we had to ask for menus. We waited about 15 mins and finally had to tell another server that we think our beer was sitting at the bar server station. She checked and sure enough that was our beer… still no sign of our original waitress. The server that brought our beer took our food order. About 5 mins later we saw our original server but she never came over to check on us. After being there for about 45 minutes we still did not have our food and had only been approached two times; once by our server and the second time when we had to flag down a server for our beer and place an order. I got up and told the second server we were leavingn she smiled and said OK. We went to a different restaurant in Newport and got great service. Overall I think we would have had a great time at Tavern 55 but the service was absolutely terrible. The place was not even that busy. No booths were occupied, the actual bar was half full and there were only 2 other high top tables besides us. The bowling alley was pretty full but there seemed to be plenty of staff standing around. I would have rather hit a regular bowling alley and gotten pitchers of Bud Light and a pizza.

We have been coming here since last year when CM55T&B first opened and accepted the OC Seattle Seahawk Fans FB Group. I’d like to take this opportunity to give the staff and management a HUGE shout out. Your team has created a great atmosphere for all to enjoy the games on Sunday. The staff is extremely friendly and always project a positive demeanor which makes a fun environment for everyone. I honestly believe this attitude comes from the management team and the extensive training is highly reflected. The Ladies who act as servers are always checking and making sure our group’s bottomless mimosa glasses are always full. They constantly go out of their way to make sure everyone is looked after and genuinely take the time to be friendly and engaging. I am a bit bias but Kristen is the best in the group but not far behind are Holly and Veronica. Will, behind the bar, is always totally slammed and busts his butt to make sure all the drink orders come out in a timely manner. As busy as he is he also takes the time to make corrections to drinks that are not to satisfaction. Overall a very fun place, great food, friendly personable staff and high energy.

I have mixed feelings about this place. I submitted a form online from their website for a party of 143 weeks in advance. Never heard from anyone so I called this week to confirm and they said the form never went through… hmmmm. Luckily the gal on the phone was super cool and said not a problem. The staff was super friendly when I arrived and attentive. I was surprised how dead it was inside for 7:00pm. I was under the impression this was one of the new hot spots at triangle square?! The bar is huge but the bowling area isn’t. Our server Hollie was on top of things! She came around several times asking if we needed anything. The appetizers were delicious! Definitely recommend the flatbread pizzas for big parties. They have a great happy hour special on martinis and 40 beers on tap. Our lane broke down 3 times during our 2 hour bowling session. The first time it happened we all stood around assuming management was notified. I eventually had to flag someone down and 15 minutes later it was fixed. They gave us 30 minutes of free bowling for the inconvenience. Then it broke down again. This time I went to the hostess and manager right away. A few minutes later it was fixed. Then it breaks down again. I go back to the hostess and manager and explain my frustration. He was apologetic and comped the shoes off the bill. They need to step up their customer service. They should know if a lane breaks down. It shouldn’t be my responsibility to flag down the staff 3 times. After we paid the bill, our server Hollie stuck around asking if we needed boxes or anything else. Most servers disappear once they are paid. She was awesome!
