I like this little shop located within Blends. The products are nice, and for the most part uncommon to find in other stores. I always come here to pick up my cologne as I don’t know anywhere else to get it. The unfortunate thing about this place is that the service is hit or miss. Sometimes someone is fully attentive and other times you have to find someone who works there and interrupt some story they are having with a buddy or local. I understand many people walk in see the prices and walk out so maybe they are used to lookie-loos but it bums me out when I have to go in there. I almost feel I am hassling them simply for service and attention.

Clothing selection here is off the hook; I’ve seen some of the most amazing pieces here. Too bad the selection is quite small but quality over quantity right? They had lots of great outwear in stock and I would probably buy 3 – 4 things here if I had the funds. Lots of Wings + Horns stuff, some Nom De Guerre, APC etc. Prices are pretty high but we’re talking about top of the line clothing here. Staff is chill and keeps out if your business; I hate staff that badger and follow you around. I’ll come here to cop clothes once I’m balling deep.

Basically just an extension of Blends, which it’s connected too. They definitely carry some brands and some items you probably won’t see elsewhere. It’s just too tiny of a space, with a selection that is far too limited. Everything is pretty pricey, but doesn’t appear to be marked up over msrp.

this store is probably the best botique for me around OC. they do carry some exclusive brands such as a.p.c, comme des garcons, k.z.o, nike tech pack, visvim. The interior is small but is pretty cool. The customer service is pretty good. One major issue about the store is that i always feel that they try to rip off some of the OC trendster since they have no where else to go to buy there clothes. There clothings are extremely overpriced. Carve is no where as established as American Rag CIE, Barracuda, South Willard, Union but they could sell the same item for more expensive than any of these stores.

I felt like this place needs a new review since their renovation. Now connected to Blends with a clean all white décor, Carve has definitely stepped their game up with the new look. They carry a lot of great brands such as Visvim, APC, Idiom, Comme Des Garconne, and Rockwell. Not to mention limited release Nike gear. The people who work their are very friendly and always remember my face and give me a heads up on what’s dropping in the near future. Part of me wants to stop writing this review so as not to draw more attention to my secret streetwear oasis far from the eye of the sneaker savvy LA crowd. The prices though high, are fair. My roommate slept on the Nike Tech Pack release and ended up paying a considerable amount more for the same jacket at Union LA. Any«streetewear» aficionado should definitely drop by this spot.

this is the only boutique i like at the lab(anti-mall). their décor is dark wood and most of the light comes from outside. they carry hard to find brands like y-3 and rogan. i’m sad that they stopped carrying silas so that’s why they got 4-stars. most of their selection is dark-coloured so if you’re looking for a nice black jacket this would be the place to go. not cheap, though. i’d consider the boutique a higher-end street wear one.
