I booked the Dax Gallery for my son’s first birthday party, and had an amazing experience! Katie who I worked with from start to finished, did everything to help make our event extremely special. As the event got closer my stress levels grew higher, and Katie went above and beyond to relieve any and all stress and went above and beyond to make sure I was happy and that the party was a success.
All of my guests were raving about the awesome space, and what a great venue it was to have an event. The high ceilings and open space really give you a great canvas to work with.

We hosted a video recording for a curriculum series we filmed at Dax and had the BEST experience. Their team was beyond generous and we felt taken care of in all aspects. They helped us procure rentals and allowed us to do several walk-​throughs to ensure this was the best fit for us.
If you are doing a party, event, or wanted to host an art exhibition, this place is a great OC spot with amazing customer service. Two thumbs up!

Katie was extremely professional and helpful with all aspects of my eWomen Network OC mixer! Loved the space as did my colleagues! Perfect for any event because it’s like a blank canvas to create your vision! The art displayed gave the right artistic, savvy environment I envisioned. My team was very impressed with you as well. Really excited about this new gallery. Great location interesting selection of art. recently was there for a fun event — really enjoyed the art, atmosphere, interactive video installation and the live music was a plus. Fun, sophisticated, crowd yet not overly pretentious.
Looking forward to upcoming exhibits!

My review is based on a Printmaking Art Instruction event hosted by DAX gallery. It was a free event, for all ages. I found out about it through Unilocal Events.
The space was still «in progress» when I attending the class, but it felt like an intimate place for hosting works of art. The bathrooms have hands in place of the door knobs. It was like shaking someone’s hand before you do your «business».
I had an amazing time in the printmaking class. The instructor was clear, relatable and easy to understand. The tools we used were easy and accessible. Foam board and a pencil! I hope they do this more often. It was well organized for this event.

I work down the street and noticed the pieces hanging and sculptures when I would walk by. I noticed a Peter Gronquist taxidermy weapon sculptures and that is what lead me in here to check out the collections. Kudos to the curator for bringing amazing artist to this gallery and into OC. Usually one would have to go to LA or SF to check out a show that would feature artist like Mear One, David Flores. Peter Gronquist, Sand Oner, Zio Ziegler, Meggs and Shark Toof… If you appreciate good art come check out the gallery… It’s in an industrial part of Costa Mesa that is just a hop, skip and a jump from the Lab and The Camp.
