This mini mart really is the best. Really helpful and friendly staff that always keep the place clean and in stock. It’s also pretty cool that you can drive into the store, request certain items, and they’ll bring it to you so you don’t have to leave your car.

This place is the hidden diamond in the rough. New owners as of 2015 and the changes they made are great. I love that you can drive in and jump out and get what you want. They have a little of everything including cold beer, good wines and lots of snacks for the kids. If you only need a few things then this is a great stop. I went to MiCas across the street and picked up fresh chips and salsa for a football party I was having. I drove across the street and picked up ice, beer and sodas. No trip to the store, no long lines and no busy parking lots to deal with. Pull in, jump out and on my way.

Finally a drive thru store in Costa Mesa/​Newport Beach, that’s clean! I live right down the street and have lived in this area my whole life and this idea of drive thru market is fantastic. Both owners are wonderful and have treated me amazing every time I have driven through. One of the best things they have are the «Purps» energy drink by Kelly Slater, still haven’t found another place that carries them. If you haven’t got a chance to drive through Newport’s classic Mini Mart you haven’t seen all of Newport Beach. I highly recommend this place to anyone who’s looking to grab a nice cold Herbert’s lemonade while staying in there car through the whole process. Thank you Mini Mart for bringing back some great culture to 17th street.

Ok so first of all I’m super stoked on the new place. Very easy to see and navigate through. Best of all it looks CLEAN. I’ve been to the new place about 5 or 6 times since it’s opened as I live in the neighborhood and every trip has been a positive one. How amazing is it to have a drive through mart in your hood??? I love it and it’s so convenient when you have little ones in a car seat. Even when I don’t have my kids I still love the fact that I can drive right on up! Too cool.

So impressed with the changes the new owners have made! The completely revamped store is a breath of fresh air and has an amazing selection of craft beer, wine, food and drinks. Two extremely friendly guys run the place now and I am stoked to support a local business instead of a corporate conglomerate.
If you are on the run and need to pick up some things and don’t want the hassle of getting out of your car or having to unload the kids or dogs this is the place!

Wow this place has changed. It is so pretty now and actually fun.
One– you can find it! Two-​new and fab merchandise.
You can get the best unique beer and wine here and not even get out of your car. Great place to buy ice. No work. Just pull in and they will help you. I just love the pull through, drive in convenience. Polite young guys work there.
So nice to have a super easy pull in Mini-​mart and it’s owned by locals.
I like the Altadena milk too.
