I finally went to Paris to the Moon. Why didn’t I go sooner because it is closing the day before my birthday on October 10th! I would drive by it every day and admire the unique window displays and say to myself, «I need to stop in someday.’ Well I went in today and what great people who have run and created this shop. Very reminiscent of funky kitsch shops on Melrose and in Old town Pasadena. I gave back to this cute little shop by doing the countdown letters for their window display as I overheard talking to another customer about needing numbers for the window. A small way to repay a shop that made me smile every time I drove by! Never take shops in your neighborhood for granted! Support your local shopowners! They need us and we need them!(spoken on authority by a former Tower Records employee from Costa Mesa!)

CUTECUTECUTE!!! Cutest store ever! Best place to find a little gift that stands out at Christmas or a birthday. I went in one time and the ladies working there were nursing a baby squirrel! I’ve found some great metal mermaid statuses there for my bathroom and great Christmas ornaments. Go there!!!(The walk across to Mi Casa and get some nachos: D)

It’s like walking into a fairy tale when you walk into this«charming» little boutique… There is nothing about Paris To the Moon that is run of the mill. Everything that you could think of is here. Imagine Alice in Wonderland meets The Nightmare Before Christmas. Think of walking amongst the drawings in a Camille Rose Garcia painting. That is what Paris To the Moon is like. The owner is super friendly and we chatted a bit about our love of vintage owls. She too collects vintage and it’s obvious when you look around. She has some nice vintage jewelry here. If you are in need of gift for someone and don’t want that boring gift card or the pain of hunting for a gift hoping that you may find something then you must come here. Because you will indeed find something for the young to the old. Take your time and really look around. There is so much stuff in here. Best thing is that you can walk across the street to Café Blanc for an amazing pastry.

i picked up some nice items at this store. A mother mary framed print from 1937 for only $ 30 and a couple hand made mexican folk art bat sculptures.

Attention Christmas Shoppers!!! Need the perfect little gift for a friend, teacher, sister, babysitter??? This little hidden bonanza is the place to go. Frilly, classy, girly but not cheesy-cute. Definitely a French flair but then you find a little naughty card tucked away. Like the other reviewers said, tons of little stuff. Simply gorgeous and fun to shop at, too!

A hard to find little gem in Costa Mesa. The owners search out the most amazing flea market finds and the store changes constantly. You will never find the same thing twice here! Everytime I stop in I find something new and different. This is a great place for gifts especially for birthdays. True to the name of the store consistenly carries a selection of Parisian themed items. They also carry a lot of local artists jewelry and crafts in the store.

This is one of my favorite stores… ONTHEPLANET. Gifts, home stuff, silly toys, beautiful jewelry, hand-made ephemera, local art, seasonal décor… LOVELOVELOVE everything about it! I take people from out of town to find treasures you won’t find anywhere else. I buy gifts there for my very favorite people. It is like walking into a beautiful Parisian dream… you MUST go!

This is one of the best little shops I have been to! It’s tucked back away off 17th street in a stand alone building. The store is jam packed with funky things you probably won’t find anywhere else. If you are looking for something unique, this is the place! We spent over an hour just browsing(and trust me the store isn’t that big) and spent a good amount of time talking with the owner who was very friendly and helpful. One of my daughters purchased a large umbrella with black and white pictures of Paris all over it and the other one bought a small makeup bag with skulls on it. My mom bought a table lamp made out of a black top hat. Their selection is eclectic to say the least. The owner is talking about opening a halloween store and we can hardly wait! If you need a gift for someone who has everything, run down to Paris to the Moon. You won’t be dissapointed!
