They were very friendly and helpful! I came in with a random exchange question about a present and they ended up solving the problem all together for me by resizing the glasses to fit my face for free!

I found my new Optometrists, Dr. Willey. She’s a fellow UC grad and she’s super sweet and nice.
Everyone that works here is actually nice and they’re pretty quick which is nice for people that are in a rush.
This place closes at 7 which always gives me plenty of time after work to drop by and pick up some new contacts.
If u need glasses or contacts drop by this place and get an eye exam.

I’ve avoided going to the eye doctor for the past five years because every time I went it was an uncomfortable experience. Dr. Glass and his staff did an A+ job at making me feel at home, they are so friendly and personable. I got a great new pair of Tom Ford glasses and scheduled my appointment to come back for my next check up. I would absolutely recommend all my family and friends to see Dr. Glass!

First time I feel like I’m talking to a real eye doctor. Mr. Glass is awesome, not to mention the helpful staff. Very casual friendly environment. Dr. Glass took his time with me and my husband and explained each of our eye situations clearly. We waited for a while to get our eye exam but talking to the staff made it fun and not seem like it was taking long.

Ordered glasses on a Friday, nothing special. They didn’t go out for shipment tell Monday. Won’t get my glasses for two weeks I was told. Also called to give model number of sunglasses to have perscription put in and they said they were to busy to take info that someone would call later that Saturday or Monday. No one ever called. Moving on due to service.

Always a great experience with this place. Dr Glass is great. They have a wide selection of frames and right now they have a group-​on. The staff all do there jobs very well with friendly service and lay out all the different options. I left with my glasses ordered, contact lens prescription and glasses prescription, eye glasses on ordered and a weeks worth of contacts for about $ 300. Not bad.

Great place! Took me in when another dr. Wouldn’t honor my appt. Staff is nice and efficient. Highly recommend!

Very nice people, I went there many times to make a glasses and they were very cooperative, very reasonable with the price and very fashionable.
Today went there with my husband to make an eye check up. It was first time to try the optometrist … Very accurate, the way he examined was so professional.
We went out more than satisfied. All in all was perfect experience with both services, I would definitely recommend to everybody. And I want to say to ask for Mike. He is the best

My biggest issue: THEY WILL HOLD YOUR PRESCRIPTION HOSTAGE AND NEVER ALLOW YOU TO PURCHASE ELSEWHERE!
My husband and I have both gone to Eye Styles for glasses and prescription sunglasses. I’ve always been satisfied with the service but the prices have always been a bit high. We purchased a groupon which allowed us to pay an affordable price but without the discount… Everything is very expensive.
I lost my glasses and needed a quick (and cheap) fix. I called Eye Styles hours before heading out to let them know I needed a copy of my prescription. They told me it would be no problem. I went to Costco, found the glasses I wanted and told them my prescription situation. Called over to Eye Styles to have it faxed over and grew frustrated when they wouldn’t fax it and instead try to sell me on their «matching» program. This means they will match lenses ($ 75 at Costco) but not frames, FYI. I was adamant that I wanted my prescription faxed. They reluctantly agreed.
After waiting for over 30 minutes, no prescription was faxed. I called back and was told «we’re working on it. Your file is right here. We just need to fax it».’ Another 30 minutes… No fax.
I then grew frustrated that Eye Styles wasted so much of my time that I left. I called back and was put on hold! I got home and sent another email. No response. Called back for the 4^th time (on a Sunday, they are closed) and left a voicemail. Let’s see if I can ever get a copy of it!!!
I’m fed up. I will NEVER go back to Eye Style. They have held my prescription hostage. I’m giving 1 star ONLY because I had a positive experience when I was there. But, had I known they would never allow me to purchases glasses elsewhere, I would have picked another place to purchase eyewear.

Great place! Doctor was super nice and the staff was really patient and friendly. When I was looking for glasses, the person helping me told me that one pair was around $ 190. It turned out it was $ 200 something, but she knocked it down to the $ 190 price beacuse she told me that was the price. Great customer service!

I’ve been a patient of Dr Glass for over 20 years, he was the first and only eye Doctor that I’ve seen since I moved to Orange County. He’s awesome! He and his staff have always taken great care of me. I’m very near sighted so finding lenses and frames that don’t look like coke bottles/​queen of the nerds can be quite challenging and they’ve always been up for the task. Did I mention I’m also kind of picky? They’ve redone numerous orders at no charge, making sure I was happy. I highly recommend them, you won’t be disappointed!

Dr. Was great! I used to have headaches and sometimes migraines went to get my eyes checked he actually lowered my RX from 2.75 (DX from Walmart and Costco) to 1.68 not only can I see better! But my migraines are almost completely gone :-) thank you sooo much I’m glad I made the call to come in and the price is very reasonable for the Newport Beach area def would recommend friends have been happy as well

I bought a pair of polarized Oakley Tungsten Crosshairs and wanted lenses, now. Oakley wanted $ 400 and 14 days which wasn’t acceptable, and everyone else wanted 7 – 10 days; which still wasn’t acceptable. Most places use the same lab/​s to get work done, which is why you’ll notice that they all have roughly the same turnaround times.
So, I ended up calling this place. They actually have their own lab, and product stock. If you have ever looked around for custom tinted lenses, you’ll know that this is pretty rare. The person I spoke with was extremely helpful. I told her which glasses I had, and told her that I’d prefer a matching lens, but would settle for black; and I told her I wanted them immediately. She calls me back, tells me they have matching stock, and can do the job within 2 hours.
The lenses are almost an identical match, and I don’t think I’m sacrificing quality from what I would have got from Oakley. Not only were my lenses done in 2 hours, but it only cost me around $ 150. In fact, the polarization is easier on my eyes than the stock Oakley lenses.
Two weeks later I took a solid hit in the face with my glasses on. They were still under warranty from Oakley, and I was tempted to take them back. Instead, I took them to HQ, because they guys said they could fix them. The lenses weren’t scratched, but the frames were warped. The guys there did an ok job, but as I continued to drive home, the less satisfied I became. I decided to stop here as a last resort, before taking my glasses back to the Oakley store. Again, they exceeded my expectations. They adjusted my frames, and they fit better now than they did when I first bought them; which probably means that my face is crooked.
I cannot rate the quality of the doctor here, as I had my prescription done elsewhere. Also, I have rated this place as inexpensive because of the time/​money saved here as opposed to going with Oakley.

Renee Strickmaker was very helpful. I came by and brought my sunglasses, she cleaned and tightened all of them for me at no charge. I asked about prices she said they’ll match the prices on-​line. This location has been in business since ’97, they are definitely earning their 5 STARS!

The last time I was here, I waited over an hour to be seen. The woman at the front desk told me to go to Starbucks and come back in right after I grab a coffee. She said this when I was waiting about 30 minutes in for my appointment. It was tremendously unfortunate and frustrating that I walked in fifteen minutes earlier than my appointment, and I was not seen until well over an hour after my appointment time. As a result, I was late to work because I couldn’t miss this eye examination.
I am both extremely disappointed and dissatisfied.

I never got seen on time, had to wait forever to be seen.

The people were nice but when you pay cash for something and you tell them you cant see, but they tell you to try them for a few days and you still cant see you should get your money back.
But they would only give me 500 dollars in store credit. What am I going to do with credit from a place that cant get my prescription right? Then I went to another place for 240 dollars got a better pair and I see great. what a joke this place is.
I’m very dissapointed that they dont care if there customers are happy or not.

Would not recommend. The doc was pretty good, if a tad dour. The frame selection is pretty good; they have a nice selection of designer frames to choose from if money is no object. There is also a case of sale frames to choose from. Aside from that, the upsell in this place is just too much. I hate working with people who work on commission.
Good customer service involves being UP FRONT about charges and prices. Don’t let somebody spend an hour picking out a pair of frames, write up the order, swipe the credit card and THEN tell them that «The frame you picked out does not allow us to give you the discount as allowed by your insurance company». WTF? Why didn’t you tell us that up front? It would have saved us tons of time, and we would have picked out another frame. Instead we cancelled the order. Also, I asked for the contact prescription so I can order them on line. They hesitated and said «Well, you won’t find them cheaper»…LOL…wanna bet? I’m not a newbie when it comes to buying glasses and contacts. The only way I would get them here is if they price matched a lower price that I found online.
Also, they have a hard time adjusting your glasses here. Mine were so bad that I went over to Lenscrafters in Fashion Island to have them adjusted. The guy took one look at them, laughed, took them off my head and went to work. Five minutes later, my glasses were perfectly adjusted… for free.
