I needed a Tux for a Black Tie event within a week. I knew exactly where to go. The process takes about 15 minutes when you come in and 15 minutes when you pick up to try on everything and make sure you look great before the big day. I am a big guy and needed a size 16 shoe. Not many shoe outlets have my size and Friar Tux Shop goes up to size 17! When in doubt they can have things made to order if needed for your big day. I saw a guy twice my size come in for his high school prom and he was 6’10 and got fitted no problem. The deals are unbelievable and always changing with the seasons. I am a customer that has been completely satisfied and wish to announce «Friar Tux Shop the best Suit & Tux Rental in So-​Cal! I had made an appt at the competitor and was treated poorly before going to Friar Tux. I couldn’t be happier with the way my fiancé and I were treated by both Brandon and Eric at Friar Tux! Great customer service and they have been beyond helpful. So much better than the ‘wear house’

Excellent customer service and clean, quality looking suits. These guys have modern and traditional suits and tuxs and are more than willing to accommodate changes to your order. Would give them five stores if they revamped the store appearance. The carpet needs to be ripped out and replaced and a new coat of paint would help. Looks old inside. But if they keep the prices low, I don’t mind the appearance for the 5 min I am in there. Thank you for the great service every time I am there!

My son informed me on the night before his winter formal, he needed to rent a tux. When I called around I found out that you needed to order suits weeks in advance. However, when I spoke to someone at Friar Tux located on Bristol Ave in Costa Mesa, they told me I could come down that afternoon/​evening and they would pull something off the floor for him. We ran down there after his sports practice, and within 30 – 45 minutes we were set up and out the door with his suit. The staff was very helpful and friendly and I would recommend them to all my friends.

We rented tuxedos from Friar Tux Shop for our wedding in August. The customer service at the shop was terrific — very knowledgeable and helpful staff! With some help, we decided on our tuxedo style (Michael Kors) fairly quickly and then my husband got fitted. We had a few groomsmen from out of the country, who came in the week before the wedding to get fitted, and were taken care of quickly. The Michael Kors tuxedos looked amazing on the men in the wedding party! We couldn’t have been any happier with the product or the customer service. Great experience, so thank you Friar Tux Shop! We will be back again soon!

Can’t say enough about Friar Tux! They were just awesome. We went to get my husband fitted and Brandon, the assistant manager I believe, was great. He was so helpful with giving us insight on style, fit, and picking something everyone would be happy in. One of the groomsmen told me it was the best suit he’s ever worn! We got so many compliments on everyone’s look and we had suits for the dad’s, the groomsmen, and the ring bearers. I highly recommend picking Friar Tux to clothe your bridal party!

I went in today to get fitted for a tux rental for a wedding. Stephan, the manager, is amazing. He is the nicest guy. He works very quickly and has great customer service. (I am probably spelling his name wrong — sorry.) He remembered me from when I was in the shop over 6 months ago which scores huge points in my book. This place is never overly crowded and the guys go out of the way to make sure my rental fits the best that it can. Stephan is super knowledgeable and I’m have confidence that when I return to pick up my tux, everything was done right to the best of his capabilities. I’ve been here a few times now and the service is consistently great.

My son and I had THE most amazing, upbeat, positive experience at this Friar Tux location yesterday. We came in with some unique needs and both Brandon and Brian went above and beyond to help us with ideas and came up with the perfect solution for our last minute Prom needs. Brandon and Brian not only were professional, but they were fun, and they made us feel like we were the most important customers even though we weren’t the biggest sale of the day, I am sure. They listened to us and understood our needs, and seriously made our very challenging day turn in to one of the most positive experiences I have had in a very long time. My son is gonna look so handsome thanks to Brandon and Brian. I highly recommend them and I will be back and tell my friends about the awesome personal attention we received that exceeded all of our expectations and beyond.
