Actually a 3.5. This is a cheap place for some sweet iced green tea! It’s definitely a sweet deal for less than $ 2. They also sell mochi icecream and hot green tea. It’s the perfect place to pick up treats after shopping at Mitsuwa.

Omg! The mochis here are extremely delicious. I have had a few mochis before and while some were good, I can honestly say none have been as delicious as the ones sold here. The flavors are just combined so well! My only complaint is the customer service here. The girls are not too friendly and they don’t seem to want to help when customers have questions and they seem very inattentive. Which is a shame because if they were better with there customer service it would definitely help bring in more customers. I give the quality of the desserts here a 5 stars but the customer service gets only 2 stars. So overall this place gets 4 stars. Please improve the customer service! The food is amazing I highly recommend this place.

I was so excited to try these so-called overly-hyped mochi donuts everyone kept raving about… but once I tried one i wasn’t overly impressed. This place is nessled in the mitsuwa marketplace although parking can be a struggle even with their underground parking garage theres just not enough parking spaces for a popular grocery store with popular stores/restaurants and etc inside as well. But going back to the food… I tried their blueberry mochi donut and their strawberry mochi donut. Well first of all the lady who gave us the mochi donuts said wait about 10 – 15 minutes to defrost… as in the display looks better than the actual donut itself. –sigh– so here I was waiting for about 15 minutes and even when I took a bite after that 15 minute mark it was still rock hard frozen. But once it did defrost it wasn’t all that great. The flavor seemed to have defrosted too as in it was pretty flavorless. I mean, you can still taste a hint of strawberry but for the most part it just tasted like mochi. Really plain mochi. I guess they were okay? but for the hype I wouldn’t purchase them again… especially ones that have to be defrosted. I think i’m just gonna stick with mochi ice cream(way better in my opinion and yes its frozen. only for a good reason since there’s ice cream in it) P. S. don’t go for the looks of it, because their display case is very eye-appealing.

I came into the market in search of Mochi Cream. Upon ordering the cashier there is very soft spoken and sweet. I ordered the green tea donut and the Mochi café au lait. Green tea donut was good, I haven’t had cream inside Mochi yet but I enjoyed it regardless. Wait 15 minutes before consumption. Texture is soft and very squish squish. Mochi café au lait was absolutely terrible in my opinion. The cream just ruined the coffee taste and I regretted eating it in an instant. Great selection but terrible execution. Overall I would never get this again unless I wanted some cute pictures of some Mochi.

I’ve enjoyed these little suckers over in Torrance, so was happily surprised to find them here while grabbing some Santouka ramen. These decadent mochis are filled with flavored cream — no, these are not your ice cream filled mochis you find at supermarkets. The raspberry mille freuille is easily one of my favorites. It has an unexpected crunch to it along with a soft raspberry flavor :) The double mango is also delicious with its mango jelly filling. I’ve tried a handful of other flavors, including sakura, green tea, salted caramel, and black sesame. All pretty unique and a nice escape from your typical desserts. They come frozen, so you’ll need to keep them out for 15 – 30 min to let them thaw!

I didn’t know Mochi Cream was gonna be inside this market, so we had a bit of a difficulty finding it, because we entered on the wrong side of the market. First of all, this place sold the cutest mochi ever and had so many flavors to choose from! The only problem was they did not sell mochi ice creams. They only had flavored cream inside the mochi(hence mochi CREAM), which was a big disappointment for me and my boyfriend. I wish I read the reviews beforehand :(I feel dumb for thinking they sold mochi ice cream lol. I really didn’t like how the mochi tasted, it just had a weird, dry texture. The only one I liked was the Strawberry Cheesecake Mochi Donut. Other than that, I wouldn’t go back to this place again.

I love mochi cream! I always come here whenever I hit up mitsuwa. The mochis are $ 1.50 each, very reasonable for the size and flavor. I realllllyy liked peach cream. It is soo good. I recommend that you wait anout 10 mins before eating these delicious things. Love it here! They also have boxes if you buy a specific amount, but I believe they cost extra.

My rating is actually a 3.5 but going to bump it for now. I’ve only been there once so I can’t make a thorough commentary but once I try it again(giving it a second chance!) I will update my review! First of all, this place is INSIDE the mitsuwa marketplace. So this means that you might have trouble finding parking because the marketplace is ALWAYS busy! Just a warning! This is definitely not a place you would go to just for the Mochi. It would make sense to eat something at the marketplace, which has a food court area, and then go here for dessert. Now for the actual Mochi part… I got the honey and carnberry Mochi. I didn’t think it was bad but I didn’t think that small little thing was worth the amount I paid for it. I think it’s cheaper if you get more than one but I’m not sure. The reason why I didn’t like it as much could just be because of the flavor I got. It tasted a little bit bitterish. Also, they’re supposed to be frozen/cold when you get them but I waited a little bit to eat mine and I enjoyed it better when it wasn’t so cold! I want to try the donut Mochis next! After that I’ll decide whether I want to make this place a regular or not.
