Mood Escape

Melita gave me the best acrylic manicure I’ve ever had. I went in with finger nails rivaling that of a 6^th grade boy and came out with the most natural set of acrylics. I’ve been getting compliments all week– everyone thought they were my natural nails! The shop is clean and well kept. Melita is incredibly knowledgeable of her trade and so kind. When my manicure was finished, I immediately booked my next appointment. I’ve never been one to go to a nail salon regularly. The only reason I went in the first place is because my mom gave me a gift certificate.

I have been going to the Mood Escape for a very long time. Melita is the best! I highly recommend you try this salon out, if you do you will never go anywhere else.

, Melita is one of the merchants in my building. I recommend everyone to her. One because she sterilizes everything, her place is always clean. She gives you excellent service. Her work is impeccable. My customers tell me what a great job she has done for their nails. I have been in the Beauty business now for 43 years, and I know quality of work., and she is great, and so is Dana. Both of this ladies will give you the best of service that all of you deserve.

Hours are not correct! Thought I could get a quick mani before work so I drove out of my way to get there to find out they don’t open till 9:00. Idiots.

Mood Escape is above and beyond any nail salon I’ve ever been to! I don’t generally write reviews about places I frequent, but this little jewel of a shop is an exception, because in today’s world of «hustle-​bustle» and increasingly poor customer service, it’s rare to find a service-​related business of such amazing quality, charm, and professionalism. I have been going to Mood Escape for mani/pedi’s for nearly ten years, and am always made to feel as if I’m the most important person who has ever walked through the door! I really look forward to my appointments, because on a hectic and frenzied day I know that when I leave, I’ll be totally relaxed! I’m never rushed and always feel as though I’m having a very special visit with a girlfriend of many years. During this delightful «social occasion», while I’m being indulgently spoiled and pampered, soothing music is playing in the background and my lovely relaxing cup of tea has been refilled! What more can a girl ask? Just now, as I write this, for the first time ever, I noticed that the initials of Mood Escape are ME!!! Wow! How perfect is that! Nothing could be more fitting, because they certainly see too it that it’s all about «me»! Ahhhh divine!!!
Prior to finding this little chunk of heaven I’d spent years visiting a variety of those quickie walk-​in salons where I spent 20 minutes getting a $ 10 manicure that always looked like I’d spent $ 9 too much! No one spoke English and no one remembered me the next time I came in. Come on ladies, admit it… we’ve all been there! Not only was I unhappy with the service, I had very real concerns about whether or not the instruments had been properly sterilized. Unfortunately, I didn’t know where else I could go. Then I found Mood Escape and I’ve never been happier! I’m diabetic; therefore proper foot care is an absolute priority with me. Fortunately, it seems to be an absolute priority with them, as well!
Some may call it a small little salon, but I prefer to call it cozy, friendly, intimate, professional… and a complete treasure! You’ll just have to find out for yourself!

This is HANDS DOWN the BEST nail salon in Orange County!!! It is the best kept secret of women from all over that this shop has the best trained, the cleanest and most of all the friendliest people working here!!! Whether you want a manicure or a pedicure, just call and ask for Melita or Dayna!!! I get asked all the time where I get my nails done — even the girls at Planet Beauty ask about it because they look so much better than all those chop shops — oh — I mean nail salons.
They have a ton of polish colors to choose from and the place is so cute and warm. It’s really like a local neighborhood shop. A real hidden gem!!!
