Prada

A phone order was supposed to be canceled prior to shipping, a message was left for store rep to cancel, apparently rep did not get it or went ahead and processed regardless, which I consider fraud. I was shopping for a Mens T-shirt, it was shipped out , supposed to arrive on 5/20, according to UPS tracking with signature required. Package was apparently intercepted by another party without signature, UPS claim filed and approved, store refuses to refund and referred me to my bank whom will not assist in matters of lost/stolen packages. I notice the sales rep, Cindy, is mentioned in another negative review, referred to as an ass, which is appropriate given she stopped texting after notified of loss. I called today, 6/17, unfortunately, got the same rude, condescending manager spoken with before by the name of Jenny whom answered the phone saying, "Hi. how can I help you?" instead of "Thank you for calling Prada, this is so and so" I should have hung up then, knowing it was same snob as before, she provided me with same run-around answer which is to dispute charge with my bank after UPS approved claim, should have refunded their store. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE

Sis bought a saffiano tote and we were treated to sparkling water and orange juice which in my opinion was above and beyond. Such wonderful customer service!
No high pressure sales tactics just took out time and the sales lady was very kind and patient, she spent over an hour with us going back and forth trying to decide which bag was right and not once did she give us grief over it. I was truly impressed and when the time comes I hope to go back to her for my purse one day.

Luxottica repaired my glasses. Another stud fell off and I sent them back to Luxottica. They actually sent me a brand new pair! Luxottica (Prada’s warranty company) is awesome, the South Coast Store still sucks.

HORRIBLE customer service.
I purchased two Prada fragrances from Sephora as gifts for my friends. When stopping by this store, I was thinking if I could get two small PAPER bags to separate these two fragrances. The moment one Asian lady heard I was not here for their luxuries, she gave me a «you poor annoying beggar» look and was very rude:” We never give our paper bags for free, or for anything outside this store.” Another lady came and repeated the same thing — -for two small paper bags, seriously.
I came back to Sephora and they did a great gift wrapping for me.
One reason why luxurious brands are so pricy and popular is exactly due to their excellent customer service. For that point, I see no brand value hidden in this store. Plus, Hermes, Giorgio Armani and Chanel within South Coast Plaza are MUCH better than this one.

Prada located at the South Coast Plaza, two doors down from Valentino (there is also a small boutique located inside Saks). My mom and I came by this location yesterday afternoon. Prada will be having 40−50% off selected hand bags, clothing and shoes starting Black Friday. However, they are currently doing presale, which is what brought me in today.
When my mom and I first arrived, we were not greeted by anyone. There was a female, Asian sales associate who saw me but did not acknowledge me or my mom and definitely did not greet us. That was rude and made me a little annoyed but I kept walking further into the store to check out their items. An Asian male associate in the further room greeted my mom and I (which is what that female associate should have done). I had asked if they were presaling and he said no (which I know is a lie. They are only doing the presale for their loyal customers right now). A little disappointed, I just walked around the store to look at everything (why not lust after how the upper crust live?). And as I made my way back around, one female sales associate smiled and greeted us and asked if we needed anything. And at the same time, that Asian sales associate that I had mentioned earlier said hello (which she should have done in the first place).
After I left empty handed and out of the store, I told my mom that if I was ever to buy anything from this store, I would definitely want to make a sale with that Asian male sales associate who greeted us and definitely not that Asian woman (why would I want some rude person to make money off of me? They work off of commission, they should be nicer and uphold some class that Prada is known for… not rudeness and snobbishness).
But I do want to share with the readers of my post that later during our shopping trip at this fantastic mall, we ended up going to Saks (was just seeing if they have started presaling and price matching the other boutiques doing their presale). And sure enough, we found out that the Prada store inside Saks began their presale that day (according to the sales associate who helped me, who was incredibly friendly, that they were supposed to star their presale on Monday, but ended up doing it a day earlier). So ladies (sorry gents, they don’t have any male products at this store, more at the actually Prada store we just came from though) currently right now, Saks Prada is having 50% off their presale items (although there is a much larger selection at the regular Prada store though) in case you are interesting in checking it out before the holiday shopping this weekend begins.

Are the coffers full to the point of bursting and you are ready for a high end fashion purchase? Say no more, Prada is there for you.
I was enticed by a free lunch with an extremely attractive and successful Korean woman some Unilocalers know well at Capital Grille to go bag shopping. Have you ever done this? You go to several stores looking for a handbag that costs a fortune and to be honest, it was actually more entertaining than I thought it would be. It was a lesson in service if nothing else.
Considering these handbags basically start at $ 1500.00 you would be amazed at how bad the service can be at various stores. The salespeople at the Vuitton boutique in Bloomingdales are complete A-​holes on an inconceivable level, these guys will be the douchebags at Mastro’s Ocean Club sharking 20-​somethings on Saturday nights in 15 years. I always wondered where the pedigree started. Disgusting.
Chanel was better, but their upsale game will have you selling out $ 5000.00 in no time. Hermes plays a hands off approach, which I actually enjoyed until I saw the price tags on their offerings, $ 15,000.00 is just plain obscene (even in this alternate reality). Versace was fine service-​wise but their bags look like someone ate fruity pebbles and threw up on the white Chanel bag. Lastly was Gucci. We decided bamboo doesn’t make a very good handle. That and we were the only people under 50 seriously considering a purchase.
Somewhere is the middle of all this mess was Prada. Attentive service, quality products and clean lines. If I were to drop a pair of sheets on handbag, this is the spot of choice for Aaron E. Take that for whatever it is worth.
The weekend starts in less than 9 hours…

I have been buying bags/​accessories from Steven at Prada for a long time now and will continue to do so. He is always so kind and helpful. He is great at finding the bag I want even if he has to ship it from another store for me. I can’t quite speak to the other sales associates but they seem to always be polite and ask if I need help (and I’m usually walking around in workout clothes when I shop). The store is always clean with nice displays.

The customer service here is absolute rubbish. When I walked in I met eyes with at least 3 sales people, and none of them bothered to greet or help me. They just stood there and pretended not to notice me. I approached one of them and even before I asked her a question, she looked thoroughly annoyed and replied in an equally annoyed tone. What a disappointing experience.

Customer service here is truly terrible.

Steven Kim provided my wife and I exceptional service. I highly recommend seeing him for any in-​store needs. He was not only attentive, but he often went out of his way to check merchandise and alternative products that might be of interest.
My only dissatisfaction is in the stitching quality of their leather goods. Compared to LV or Gucci, the inconsistencies give the goods a cheap feeling of quality.

Bought sunglasses from a VERY helpful associate… I should have asked for his name! He was a very fashionable young man with a great do and snazzy stache.
He was very helpful in the men’s section… the women’s selection was a bit too funky for me but I did find a handbag that needs to be on my arm!
All in all, we had a very good customer service experience.

Can’t compliant about this place. Went in looking for a new wallet and they were very helpful. They showed me around and different wallets that they had. Showed me their newest wallet too which was very nice and sophisticated looking one. The entire store had 2 since I wanted the same style, they went to the back and gave me one that wasn’t on displace and wasn’t touched by all customers.
Very nice presentation, and quality. I can’t say that Im not impressed by their high quality services and products.

The one star is mainly due to the lack of quality in their product. I recently dropped off a pair of shoes for repair. My leather shoe laces on my loafers snapped. The shoes aren’t more than a year old and perhaps only worn a dozen times. The laces are intertwined into the shoes so therefore it wasn’t a simple replacement. The store manager sent them out for repair. I picked them up after 2 months and when I got them home to put them on, the laces snapped again? WTF? Did the actually try to tie them when they «supposingly» repaired them. I haven’t even tried to call them back to grip… but then again, why?

The customer service here was so atrocious, I would never set foot back here again.
My husband and I were on the search for a new wallet for him. As we stepped inside the store and made our way to the men’s furnishings area, there were 3 salesmen there and none offered to help us. In fact, when we were right in front of the case they continued to talk amongst ourselves and did not help until we asked to see a particular wallet.
We asked for the thinnest and smallest wallet they offer, and he just haphazardly handed whatever was closest to him. We again, asked for something more svelte, and he just shrugged it off and said, «Oh, we’re out of what you’re looking for.» He did not offer to order it or to see if it was available at another store. We were treated as if we could not afford such luxury items! Granted I wasn’t head to toe in designer clothing, however we were not dressed haggardly by any means.
I was treated better by Cartier and Harry Winston even though they knew I was not going to be buying anything and they still assisted me and offered to have me try on items that were worth 500k! Granted, since they were jewelry stores and could see that my 4 carat engagement ring was an indication of our income.
Prada needs to take a page out of Harry Winston and Cartier’s book about customer service!

I love my vitello danie bag, it’s truly is a beautiful purse! I originally purchased the tan purse from the Prada but I was able to find it at Saks in black so I ended up returning it at Prada and purchasing it at Saks. When I returned to Prada (the same day) the sales woman was rude at short with me. I couldn’t believe it. You’re getting paid to sell handbags, get over yourself and be nice! I agree the customer service at LV is much better.

I had a wonderful experience here. After returning from Europe looking for a Prada purse, I was very disappointed to see they did not have anything new. Upon returning to the States, I went to this Prada store.
The purse I wanted was not in stock in red and, as it turns out, there was only one that was available at another store. The woman who helped me, her name sounds like the word «money,» immediately called the other store to have it shipped before it was bought. In fact, the day before I came in to pick it up, another customer asked for the same purse in red and put her name down to purchase it in case I did not show up.
Show up I did! As I waited for her to bring the purse out from the back, I started talking to a gentleman who works there and shared some really interesting stories about how the company started and what the symbols below the word Prada mean.
Excellent customer service from the woman who helped me but I did notice two other women working there who were not friendly at all so I see where the other reviewers might have not received the best service. Ask for a woman called «Money» when you go in, you will receive excellent service from her. Not sure how to spell her name but she said it is pronounced like the word «money.»

I was really hoping for great customer service from such high end stores, but… As many other reviewers experiences, this would be first and last purchase from Prada, period!
I purchased this light colored parachute fabric bag. It got dirty and I was not able to clean it. So I took it back to the store hoping to get some instructions on how to take care it. When I walked in with my friend, no one greeted us, although it was only 10:30 am, and on other customers were there.
Finally, I had to «wave down» a sales woman to ask her. Her response was, «take it to dry clean». I was like what??? Giving that not so professional nor helpful information, I asked for their return /​exchange policy, she answer me 14 days, then added «oh, UNWORN!»
Since we had lunch dates with other friends, we left the store. I felt so wrong by their answer. When I first purchased the bag, the guy told me to just wipe it with clean cloth, it’s easy to clean and I believed him!!!
So I returned to the store in the afternoon hoping that I could perhaps get a better answer with a store manager, man was I wrong!!! If I am at another store like LV, Gucci or Dior, I am sure I will get an exchange, but here? No way.
The store manager was so rude. After I told her about how I can’t clean it, she said «take it to dry clean». I said that was the answer I got this morning and I am not pleased with it. She kept saying go take it to dry cleaning! I told her when I bought the bag, the guy insisted this is a nice color for Spring, but now it gets dirty so easy. you know what she said? «well, he didn’t force you to buy this color right?»
When i described the guy who sold me the bag, The manager was like, «he no longer works here.», hello! Does it matter? You work here!
She also added that this is not an everyday bag. I told her that’s not what the guy to me! He said I can use it everyday, and as a diaper bag. The manager was like, I don’t know why he said that, but he no longer works here… My goodness… I can’t believe what’s coming out of her mouth!
Anyways, there is a lot more to this story, but I am tired of typing. I am still so angry with Prada, giving the poor reviews from their website and here, I know I am not going to get anywhere close on getting even an apology from Prada. I will have to find myself a «dry cleaning», and swallow this expensive lesson.
I hope the rich Chinese and Asian people or anyone would stop buying from them, and get Prada go out of business!!!

As an experienced luxury handbag owner I am utterly disgusted with Prada. On the hunt for a summer bag I settled on Prada for the newest edition to my collection.
I went to the store and picked the Saffiano double zip in Cameo. I noticed the floor bag had a long string hanging from it and asked for a new one. A truly new one came out I inspected it and the bottom lining was completely unstitched, revealing the base of the bag. The sales person said she would get another new one from the back. She came out with one that was in a dust bag but obviously not new. She took it out of the bag and low and behold it was the same bag with the string from the store display. REALLY? $ 2,000 for a bag and $ 800 for the wallet and I’m lied to? I walked out.
My husband knew I wanted the bag and had actually already bought it for me and I found out when I got home and told him about my experience. I inspected that bag and it also had an error. A small critical stitch that kept the shoulder strap stable and the lining from pulling up when you wear it.
Still I loved the bag and color so with hope in my heart back to the SD store intending to hopefully exchange it for a bag without an errors. The manager was completely rude and noticeably upset didn’t even acknowledge I wanted to exchange didn’t say 5 words to us and started to return the bag. Totally thrown I just did the return and left but I was so upset. So I called the next closest store in Costa Mesa and asked if they had any new ones and I’d go get it.
Then again my poor husband went to the SD store without me wanting to get me this bag and he asked for a new bag. The ones they showed him were also damaged a rip in the rim of one and scratches on the foot hardware of the other. The sales person told him the bags are in bins and scratches are normal and because we complained to the Costa Mesa store we would have to get the bag final sale as is. LOL. When he told me I called corporate and made a complaint.
Today I went to the Costa Mesa store to hunt out this bag I had fallen in love with. And again. Not one two but three different bags with errors!!! One with that same damn stitch missing. One with a cracked rim from bad stitching and another with strings. All on «new bags».
In my hunt and fury at Prada I went to almost every other lux bag store in SD and CM. Prada was the worst service and construction across the board. I never found one string scratch or rude person in this process. I’ve never seen errors like these in any of my many LV, Gucci, Fendi, Burberry, Chanel and other bags.
If I could give This a zero I would. I will say I’ve never tried so hard to give my money away. I am only one patron with a small voice. But with Prada service and construction I believe they can lose customers all on their own.

Prada is one of my favorite designer brands. I’ve purchased leather good for myself, my mom and my bf. We all equally love their products, durability, and overall the material and class is definitely worth the money.
I’ve never purchased it directly from Prada stores for many reasons. They have a tight and strict policy. I hate buying gifts and not being able to get a refund if my loved ones are not happy with what I got and I want to get them something else. I usually shop online at Saks, Neiman, basically– bigger retailer stores that allows me to have a month or so to think about if I really want to keep something.
With that said, I came to this store today to check out what bags they have available. I only like certain styles from Prada, and I always have a hard time looking for what I really love. I wouldn’t say the sales associates were rude today, but one in particular definitely does not know her place and speak in a condescending tone.
As I mentioned earlier, I only like a certain style so I asked the sales associate if they have discontinued a certain style and she told me that the company is gearing away from that style and probably will no longer carry it. I just searched on Saks online and actually, they do still have a few styles left. This Prada store just didn’t carry it. She didn’t offer what they had in the store that was similar to what I want, nor did she care to hear what I want or prefer. In fact, I felt that she was mocking me when I was choosing between Prada and other higher brands.
Conclusion, this location has a decent amount of variety to choose from. The more popular colors and styles are unavailable. I suggest to call ahead if you know exactly what you want. I don’t think I will ever come back here. I don’t expect anyone to jump on me for a sale or be pushy, but at least respect what I want, hear me out, make a few suggestions and leave it as that. I’ll just take my hard earned money elsewhere.

My mom came in here to get one of her old Prada bags fixed. Let me give you the background information: My mom has been a customer of Prada for decades. Decades! When the Prada logo was still a triangle and small backpacks were popular (we have 2 of those).
The sales associate who explained the repair process to her was absolutely RUDE and condescending. She had narrowed, dead-​set eyes and did not smile at all. Wait… but her job is at a high-​end retail store known for customer service. When my mom politely asked her to repeat it since she was racing through her monologue, she gave more attitude and was even more antagonizing.
This set my mom over the edge, she was having NONE of that attitude. My mom called her out on it and told her off. Then the sales associate backed off when she found out she could not be snobby and pretentious to this long-​time customer.
GO MOM!
Update: Saw the business card she gave us and turns out, she’s was the manager of the store. That puts things into even a worse prospective. Prada HR should find people that are better representations of the brand.
Updated 7÷19÷13: After seeing all these rants about the rude manager and dealing with their poor quality and returns policy, I would suggest shopping at the department stores in the same mall that also carries Prada. Nordstroms has a good selection of Prada shoes, for instance, AND their return policy and service is unrivaled.

This by far is the best PRADA store hands down!!! In general, I have bought a few items from Prada as gifts and the quality of their products is very high. This store in particular has very friendly staff members. Everyone from the sales team, to the cashier is extremely professional, polite, and very helpful. With a majority of the high end retailers, I always feel like I’m being pressured to buy something, but here I don’t feel that type of pressure at all! I always work with Jeanie Park and she is extremely helpful and very fun! Their cashier Laveen is also very friendly and very accurate! I feel like I’m being treated as a VIP every time I go here do to Jeanie’s exceptional customer service. She goes way above and beyond what I’m sure her responsibilities are to ensure I have a satisfying experience.
As with most high end retailers, be prepared to drop some serious cash for their products, and remember there is no cash refunds (they only issue store credit as long as its returned in original condition and within 10 days). Ask for Jeanie and she will give you all of the details about the products and their policies. She is very honest and up front.
