I recently used Sea Crest Home Health for physical therapy following knee replacement surgery. My therapist, Edgar, was great. He communicated well and always arrived as scheduled(or called ahead on the one occasion he was delayed). He was very knowledgeable about joint replacements and was a good coach & motivator. He aways took the time to ask if I had any other questions or concerns regarding my progress, treatment plan or level or activity. I would not hesitate to recommend Sea Crest(& especially Edgar) to anyone for post-op TKR physical therapy.

My husband recently had an operation due to colon cancer, which he now has a permanent ostomy. We had the care of a fabulous nurse from the Sea Crest Home Health Services by the name of Ida. We have had five home visits, she has been very helpful. compassionate and informative with the challenges my husband and I face. My husband and I are very grateful and fortunate to have had such a great home health service.

I recently had a hip replacement. The hospital set up in home physical therapy through Sea Crest Home Health Services. I was visited three times per week by an amazing physical therapist, Edgar M. He was was very knowledgeable about hip replacement surgeries and what to expect each week. He was able to answer all my questions and concerns, but would also have me check with my surgeon for specific medical questions. He removed the bandage when it was time and was able to assure us that it was healing well. Each week he gave me progressive exercises to regain strength and mobility. He was also able to recommend an excellent outpatient physical therapist to continue to get back to full strength. I was sad when the three weeks was up because I felt a real connection to Edgar and his compassion.

My husband recently was under the«care«of Sea Crest, Hospice division. I have to say that I really did not receive the help that was desperately needed. It’s extremely difficult to go through the experience of a loved one dying. Things happened very fast, and the nurse who I saw twice, really didn’t seem to recognize this and make adequate preparations. And, with consistent disregard, a different nurse came to pronounce and proceeded to make several material errors on the death certificate. This has prevented me from being able to obtain his life insurance. You would think that after the many mistakes someone would call, write and apologize. Instead, they said they would send a correction to me, but, did not. They did not offer to pick it up for me at the mortuary or in anyway help to rectify this matter. This is a time in which individuals need support, understanding, and individuals sufficiently professional, that they are able to correctly complete major documents regarding the persons’ death. I like the initial nurse but, I think she had a vacation right in the middle of the critical 6 days he was under their care. I was left twisting in the wind. I would never recommend their services to anyone, who is in the unfortunate position, of requiring Hospice services! Three months later, the mistaken cause of death has still not been corrected. .
