I ordered my coffee and had to leave within 5 minutes. It was freezing inside, I can’t understand how the staff does not realize that the air conditioning was set to high. I ended up drinking my coffee inside my car, without fearing to catch a cold.

I’ve had my boyfriend go for a coffee run. Employee Lindsay which I mostly get all the time as well with her rude attitude, her tone of voice is so sarcastic. If you don’t like your job… Maybe look for another one. I’ve had her plenty of times and still no attitude change.

Typical Starbucks, but with Orange Coast College students camped out at the tables during their exams week. That was the first thing I noticed when I walked in. Ha ha, they are concentrating so much, that they probably didn’t realize many of the guys looked alike… dudes with brown head hair and facial hair. A convention of college hipsters? I just wanted an Americano to sip on with the buttery rugalach cookies from nearby French’s bakery in my hand. There was some waiting, nothing new at this or any Starbucks at 1PM. I got my order in a couple of minutes Not bad. Then I realize, the two guys behind the counter had brown hair and beards. Boy, my clean shaven face is out of place. Good coffee and service, though.

I’ve never been to a more slow Starbucks than this one. Not only do the employees seem completely spaced out, they have are completely rude. I stop here almost daily on the way to work. And this has been the second time I’ve came encounter with the same young lady, Allison who greats with a fake smile/smirk. Does not give any eye contact and seems as if she was dragged out of bed to serve coffee for peasants. As I waited over 10 mins for a coffee I noticed how not one of the employees smiled! Not ONCE! Who the hell is training these people! I will indeed find a new coffee shop in the area.

It’s Starbucks you can not really go wrong with coffe! Sometimes stop by on my way to work and there is usually a wait but that’s expected! Great pick me up for the morning though!

This location is abnormally slow. And I never understand why. It’s more likely to be slow versus speedy. Be warned of you are in a rush. Oh and the staff doesn’t seem happy to be working most of the time. If you want a 5 star Starbucks, head to Harbor and Adams.

Love this location in the morning. I literally walk in, order, and get my drink within 5 – 6 minutes, evenat 8:30am. Staff is very cheerful and helpful. If it weren’t for this location, I wouldn’t be able to get my drink every morning.

Stopped in here today for some post-game drinks. It wasn’t overly crowded, so things came out at a reasonable rate. My issue is with attitude of the barista making our drinks. I watched him pour my daughter’s s’mores frappucino into the cup, and it was completely liquified, with none of the icy thickness that makes it a frappucino. She took one sip and said, «It tastes just like milk. It’s not even that cold.» I approached him and mentioned that it wasn’t icy and he said, «The s’mores frappucino is just like that. There’s crème in the bottom.» I mentioned that she’d had it before and the texture was like a regular frappucino, but he just shrugged and said, «Nope,» and walked away. His attitude was incredibly condescending and unhelpful. I always thought that baristas were supposed to remake a drink if it’s wrong. Apparently not at this store.

I’m not sure what happened to this Starbucks. I used to frequent this spot often when I lived in Costa Mesa. The quality of the drinks have gone downhill. I stopped by to pick up a Very Berry Hibiscus and — I mean seriously, how do you mess up this drink? It was watery and disgusting and lacking flavor. The things going for this location is ample parking, ample seating, free wifi(which you can sorta get at most Starbucks anyway) and some of the baristas are friendly.

RUDE! Stupid blonde girl who made my drink was such a b^tch. I am a regular at starbucks and a loyal customer and not once have I ever encountered such bad service. Here I am in such a good mood, looking forward to my morning cup of coffee before class and this stupid girl ruins my morning because she wants to act like a lazy smartass. I asked for 4 shot of expresso over ice with half & half and a sweet and low. To my surprise it came out black. I thought to myself«hrmz. maybe they just forgot to add it.» So I POLITELY asked the other barista WITH A SMILE if he can add it in for me since I like my coffee shaken up and she turns her ugly ass around, rolls her eyes and yells out«uh, there’s some at the bar she can put it in herself». WELL F U TOO B. Lucky, I was going to be late for class or else I would have reported you to the manger. Fck this place, so mad.

I’m a regular at Starbucks a once a morning every morning kind of women. During the week I go to the one by my work off of warner and magnolia or drive through edinger bear Bella Terra. Unfortunately on the weekends I have to go to the Starbucks by my house off of Baker and Fairview and it is repeatedly a LETDOWN as far as customer service goes. This morning in my morning walk I went to Starbucks to grab oatmeal and my coffee, I asked for a bag because I’m carrying my oatmeal home and the girl replies we don’t have any. And it’s not the first time this store is OUT of something including half and half. It may not be their fault that the store is not equipped but their Lazy attitude drives me crazy. No good morning and very LAZY. Cant wait to move

This is my favorite Costa Mesa Starbucks. They don’t ask you if you want a hot drink if you order one. That is so silly! The other local Starbucks do that because they are afraid to tell stupid customers that ICED means that the drink has ICE in it. How easy is that? The taste of their Mochas is perfect and usually pretty fast service.

I came here because it is located close by the OC Fair. I’m giving this Starbucks a 2 star rating because of their terrible customer service. I ordered a ham & cheese croissant square, but they gave me a cheese danish instead. When I went back to ask for the ham&cheese croissant, she did not even bother to apologize. Instead, she took the cheese danish and went to ask her manager for help, then she apologized to her manager instead of to me(the customer). Also, they still charged me the price difference even though they messed up my order…

Another well run Starbucks, with friendly, helpful, baristas. They’re quick to open another register when the line gets long.

I never knew this Starbucks existed and I live right around the corner! I’m actually not a coffee drinker(that might be why), so I don’t really have much to say regarding their drinks(or food) SORRY! When I do go to a Starbucks, its usually to study or for the teas if I happen to already be there. This review’s purpose was to merely say that this Starbucks store actually has quite a few tables and outlets if you’re looking for a place to study(in a coffee shop) or do work compared to other Starbucks. I wish I had known that when I was studying for my board exams rather than driving to farther places to study.

This Starbucks is about a mile or so from my house and also near the freeway. I needed a location that was close to both since I was getting up rather early to beat holiday traffic going into LA and also needed my caffeine. The line inside was daunting and I almost turned back but I noticed it was moving quick and everyone behind the counter was operating efficiently. That’s what I like to see anywhere I go especially at a coffee shop. Despite the rush, my drink(zebra mocha) was prepared to perfection and my pumpkin loaf actually tasted fresh and lovely. Overall, great breakfast and I beat the traffic. Woohoo! Great start to my holiday weekend which is now sadly over.

Is it even possible to give a Starbucks 2 stars? Why yes it is. I’m guessing from my experience at this Starbucks, not every starbucks makes their drinks the same. I ordered a captain crunch frap and ended up with a watered down strawberries and cream crappuccino. Ugh! What a frustrating day.
