I enjoy this place for its great service, and awesome food. I usually pick-up food once a week for the family. They also went out of their way to make special chopsticks for my three year old to use. This place never disappoints.

This is by no means a «traditional» sushi place as many other Unilocalers have mentioned. It doesn’t have to do with its tiny size, most sushi bar is a little bigger, but It’s more because of the absence of the bar itself. Nonetheless, the food is quite good and quite affordable for a sushi place. I ordered their basic combo of Teriyaki Chicken and California roll, for which I paid around $ 09.50. It’s pretty tasty and the texture of the sushi rice is decent enough for a second return. While I was eating here, there was a soothing Japanese music. A pretty nice touch to bring some Japanese ambience, before it changed to a Sinatra song(ok turns out to be a random mixtape) The only cons I have is the relatively small sized portion of the combo I ordered. And also the narrow space they have here, it won’t be convinient if you come with a group. Aside from that, it’s a nice little sushi place for those that don’t want to spend too much, while still craving for a good old sushi. Additionally, it’s better for having a take-out instead Note: If you’re looking for more variety of sushi and a bigger space, go to Full Moon sushi exactly behind this place. They resemble more authentic sushi bar and have a bigger portion. Though the place is more pricey as well. It’s a very good sushi place, nonetheless

First time coming here! I ordered the lunch special. Wasn’t too fond of the customer service! Either my first time waking in the door he said hello yes but I asked for eel sauce he gave my literally a teaspoon in a plastic container to top it off there was hair in my food I took it back he didn’t put a fight which is good! But I was just turned off completely by everything.

The food was delicious no complains there. The service was alright but I had to get up and ask for water. So did another girl next to us.

Second time here and just as perfect as the first time. I’ve eaten the chicken teriyaki, ninja roll, Cali roll and the 3 taste rice bowl. The 3 Taste is worth a million words. This place is intimate but fresh. The energy is crisp, clean and relaxing. The service is quick but the food taste like it took hours to prepare. The menu is super simple and they provide combo offers for sashimi and roll lovers. They also provide pictures for just the roll lovers. The combo comes with miso soup, edamame and salad for a low price. The drinks are free refills and they also serve Japanese alcoholic beverages. It’s quiet but they have a great playlist over the speakers. I’ll be back. Thanks for the experience and the happy tummy ;) remember to leave a tip in the jar by the register!!!

Tiny family run establishment with a simple pleasant vibe and friendly service. Sushi rolls are good but not great, prices are okay. It’s definitely not the best value around. Lunch special is decent but portions are very small, and has other issues as well. tempura veggies plus a shrimp were a bit limp with grease. Teriyaki chicken was average, thin sauce, all sugar, no depth or richness. Though the Edamame were cooked perfectly. I enjoy the service here and the simple hole in the wall feel, but there’s better food and value elsewhere.

Really cute family run sushi place! It’s a go to place when in the area! My favorite is the chicken curry udon, but you can never go wrong with their sushi ;)!!

Sushi Teri is a small place but the food is amazingly good. What’s even better is the price of their menu. I had a rainbow roll, california roll, spicy tuna roll and a beef udon, all of these for $ 25. I love this place. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who likes Japanese food.

yup everyone is right. portions are tiny, there’s really nothing special about this place. sauce for gioza was salty, teriyaki chicken was sweet but not rich at all(hence teriyaki is pretty much brown sugar and soy sauce) the older gentleman at the register didn’t seem so happy to be there. came to this place because I was brought here. not by choice.

The fish was good but the portions are TINY. Not filling enough compared to others so I won’t be back.

Hands down my favorite Sushi place! I believes it’s a family owned business. The guy and his wife are extremely kind. They always remember me and my boyfriend. The place is very small. So I usually order it for takeout. My favorites are special crunch roll, red dragon roll, and red tiger roll. They also offer brown rice for your roll, which I love! They have great lunch specials but I mostly order for dinner. Great place– check it out!

This place is good food wise, I’ve been coming regularly but it is UNBELIEVABLE how cheap they are in terms of food quality, not price. They won’t substitute without ripping U off. There’s been a few instances now and it’s just irritating it makes me want to go next door to the other sushi place. I asked to order some crab meat filler for my 1 yr old literally a spoon full or less I should say, I expected to pay a dollar or two, she wanted to charge me $ 3 plus tax for it when a entire Cali roll is only $ 3.75. So of course I said forget it and I had just spent $ 20 on dinner(that time alone) I had came in 4x that week prior. Then back today I order a Rainbow roll with only salon and shrimp I asked for no avocado on top, instead of just adding two simple slices of fish or shrimp to fill in for the avacado she says, oh it will be plank spaces where the avacado goes instead«is that ok» I said, the can’t just add a piece of shrimp or something I ALREADY am subbing out the remainder 3 – 4 selections of fish it’s not like it’s more expensive. It’s just frusterating when u come to a place regularly and they do NOTHING to benefit u customer service wise. I honestly think this will lose my business. I’m not cheap but come on something so minor that can be done to make your customer happy, it’s unexcusable and beyond frusterating. The food is good but they don’t appreciate their customers at all.

Great sushi! The dynamite roll is great. Can’t wait to go back. The crunch roll is not the best I’ve ever had but good enough to bring me back!

If you are a foodie and looking for a meal, this is not the place for you. I must say how disappointed I am. I came here hoping to get lunch, but turns out I bought a snack for $ 6. The lunch special for $ 6 was too good to be true and I fell into the trap thinking it would be decent and fill me. Service: The guy at the register just made me feel awkward the whole time. There was also no other customer but me. :/ Food: Chicken teriyaki and Tempura appetizer combo(comes with soup and salad) The chicken to rice ratio was way off. Oh, and I must mention that they basically drench the teriyaki sauce all over the rice. ITWASSOSALTY. Anyway, portion so small I finished it in 3 bites. Instead of filling the bottom row of the bento box with rice and chicken, they only filled it half way and the other half was edamame. I DIDNTASKFOREDAMAME. The tempura was like bite size as well. Also, they say that the tempura was going to be the size of the tempura appetizer. REALLY? bite size, not even crispy. SODISAPPOINTED. Miso soup tasted whatever.

The size of a literal hole in the wall(only 3 – 4 tables inside), but worth checking out if you’re in the area, especially at the low prices! Was drawn in by the price of the teriyaki bowls but ended up getting some rolls and combination bowl. Food was fine and the lady that runs it was friendly.

I’ve been infrequently stopping by on my long lunches and am always pleased when I do. This is an oasis from the hustle and bustle. Your welcomed quickly and invited to the family’s dining room table. A piece of Japan here in the US. The food is as authentic as the experience.

At first glance, this place really looks like a dumpy hole in the wall from the outside. I actually said out loud«I would never eat there» every time I was near the place. Then I happened to read the Unilocal reviews and decided to give it a chance and have been there a couple times after as well. I’m the type of person who finds something they like and stick to it. So all 3 times that I have came here, I ordered the ninja roll and chicken teriyaki combo [because I love sticky rice and miso soup] w/the spicy tuna roll. They were all great! It takes them a bit of time to prepare the food(as it should) but the people behind the counter are always polite and courteous every time. I always order my food without cucumber or avocado since I am allergic to the stuff and every time they got my order right. Other places always seem to mess it up!

The lunch special is a very good deal($ 5.99). It’s cheap but if you opt for the sushi option, you don’t get much sushi(just 3 pieces). But can’t complain considering it came with edamame, miso soup, Cali roll and salad. The sushi(whitefish, tuna, shrimp) was decent but not super fresh tasting. I noticed most of the«combo deals» are in combo with California rolls. Not a huge variety when it comes to straight sushi/sashimi. Simple, good option for a quick casual lunch. Not a lot of seating inside.

At first glance its obvious to see that it’s super small and not your traditional sushi bar style joint. In fact, there’s no bar at all. Menu seems to have a variety of food choices from sushi to rolls to combinations to bowls and even curry. As for their food… I got the Aloha Roll(CA roll topped with tuna and avocado) — This was ok, just your typical with tuna. No sauce, no wow factor. Burrito Roll(Salmon, spicy tuna,) — To be honest. I expected a little more from this. Stuffed with crabmeat, spicy tuna, salmon, cucumber, and avocado wrapped in soypaper and drizzled with eel and spicy mayo sauce. And finally the Chicken Teriyaki combo — chicken was nice and tender and also came with spicy tuna roll. Nothing much to comment on. Total spent with a drink was $ 29. Overall, this place didn’t send fireworks all over the place nor did it leave an impression. I wouldn’t go out of the way to eat here, but would make a second choice to stop by when in the area and craving sushi.
