I didn’t think there was anything great about these tacos. Although to be fair, the first time I went here, I ordered 3 tacos(I think that was a bit much for my appetite so it just became overwhelming). The meat seemed a little on the bland side, so I’ll dock 1 star. The tacos are pretty big though, so I’ll add 1 star. It was a little more expensive for tacos than I usually like, so I’ll dock another 1. The open salsa bar is definitely a nice touch.

Pretty much the same quality as other Tacqueria places around Santa Ana. Their tacos are $ 1.75, but they are much bigger than your standard $ 1.25 taco. I had the al pastor burrito which was good and carne asada taco for under $ 7. I would eat here again.

All I can say is WHAT A MESS! Over priced, for some street tacos… dry rice… and why the hell is the grilled chicken spicy as HELL!!! …and my lil bro thinks this has to be the worst of the worst pico de gallo ever. This guy eats, sleeps and **** pico. so he knows his pico!

Meeeeeh. Came by again recently. The carne asada burrito was not very good at all. I didn’t even finish it, and, thanks to my parents, I have that conditioned guilt trip caused by not finishing food, to the point where uncleared plates kinda bother me. But I didn’t finish anyway. The meat wasn’t very flavorful, and to compensate, it was just lathered in salty sauce. Either it was a bad day, or the other time was a good day, or I just know better now. I still want to try the menudo though. Every time I’ve come, there have always been some patrons eating it.

Best tacos around! This hole-in-the-wall joint has the best mexican food for the best prices. Salsa is so fresh and delish. You won’t be let down here.

Due to all the hype, I attended a meal here. Tacos were good, not great. Salsa bar was ok. Majority of the carne asada was fatty. Good greasy mexican. Questionable at best.

yum, tacos! it reminds me of king taco in la. I orders 2 carne asada tacos, 1 al pastor, and 1 pork tamale. carne asada hands down the winner, the taco was huge! 2 of them filled me up and it was very flavorful and hot in temperature! onions, cilantro, and add a generous helping of the orange salsa and you are good to go! the red hot salsa was good too and it’s didn’t burn you that much. the al pastor was ok, but not my favorite. the pork tamale was flat, not much flavor or corn taste to the tamale, you can get better one frozen from costco. the local regulars all inside order some beef or chicken stew, it seems pretty popular. I’ll be back for the carne asada tacos for sure and try the burrito next time!

Solid. Better than I expected. Pastor taco was real hot coming out, asada torta was real good also. Not as greasy as glorias but about $ 1 more per item. I’ll go back.

Great little taco shop. I ordered a Birria taco which was fabulous, very low on fat and filled with a ton of flavor… I was actually amazed to see it on the menu as this isn’t something that’s readily available… the only other local place I know that serves it is El Toro Bravo and that’s only on the weekends. I also had a carnitas burrito… and the carnitas just wasn’t that great… it lacked flavor. Coworker had the Asada and was impressed. I“ll definately go back!

Yummy, I’ve now eaten at this place 2 times for lunch, each time trying a different taco. This place has the best most authentic tacos. They are the closest things to the Tacos I’ve eaten in Mexico City. The menu names all there meats in spanish. During lunch it filled with Mexicans speaking spanish it really get no more authentic than that. The service is polite and the atmosphere quaint. To date have eaten asada, and chorizo tacos. Both were awesome the asada being the best. If your in the Neighborhood skip past Taco Mesa and eat here, it is well worth it.

Well, my bother and sister are in town for the next 10 days allllll the way from the east coast so I figured I’d try an authentic mexican joint with them. The place is called Tacolandia No 2 but they have a crazy sign that says Taco’s & Taco’s or something like that… only, most of the sign isn’t even lit up so now it just says«aco». So look for the aco sign. Tacos, authentic… and pretty darn good. The Asada is definately very, VERY good. In fact, excellent. Everything else very good as well but the salsa bar was hurting a bit. We went at dinner hours so it’s not like we got there right before they closed. My sister got the chicken quesadilla and we all got the Horchata which tasted homemade and pretty tasty. Overall, great experience and my bro and sis got a chance to taste some authentic Mexican food.

Carnitas very good Goat fatty but really rich They said the al pastor tacos are grilled as opposed to the rotating vertical spit so I didn’t order them Chile rellenos chile was underdone and somewhat tasteless Pozole good but a bit salty and not well balanced Come for the tacos which are very good

I ventured here when after going to Crossroads Trading Co. to sell some clothes. I knew tacolandia was really close by(one block in fact) I got two al pastor tacos to go and a little bit of each salsa as well. I was so eager to get home and try the much anticipated al pastor tacos. They were still warm by the time I got home and when I unwrapped the foil, there were two fully stuffed tacos. I tried several different bites, but the bite I had with the green salsa was my favorite. Overall the tacos were good, but not great. I wouldn’t go back here unless I was in the area again. Not one of those places I would go out of my way to eat at. Maybe I should try something else besides the al pastor. So yea, I ate one taco, but was too full so I left the other taco for my sister.

Best Carne Asada Taco I have ever had! Be sure to put the Peanut Salsa on the Taco(the orange one). You will not be sorry. Carne Asada: Best Ever! Chorizo: Best Chorizo I have ever had, but the Carne Asada was so good that it outshines this one Al Pastor: Great

After reading this taco joint had a pumpkin type salsa, I knew I had to try it. The place is in a very odd area with some nice plazas around it but Tacolandia is in a kind of run down plaza/strip mall. The place is your typical taqueria with a nice salsa bar and free chips. I had ordered al pastor tacos and my friend ordered the carne asada tacos. Both were good and I was enjoying the textures, flavors, and the salsas. I love how I can be dip happy with my tacos, chips, and pour the salsas on top of my meat that had fallen out of my taco. Meat was packed onto the taco and fell out literally. A definite yummy taco joint that satisfied my taco cravings.

Oh my GOD, the tacos here are delicious. Tacolandia has the biggest tacos I’ve ever seen, thus justifying the 1.75 price. I had carne asada, chorrizo, and el pastor. The meat was really tender and perfectly seasoned. This is my new favorite taco stand in the OC area.

The al pastor tacos are still out of this world! They are my favorite. The fish tacos ain’t too bad either. I love how they just launch into Spanish here with you. I wish they were consistent with the salsa bar. Some times they have the grilled jalapenos and sometimes they don’t. However, they always have that great orange pepito sauce. The quesadillas are a really great deal. They’re HUGE and stuffed full of cheese with your choice of meat for about $ 5. Cheap, tasty and definitely filling.

I needed to get that cupcake taste out of my mouth and this place was in the next strip. The wife and I could not agree on the same tacos so we ended up getting 4 different ones: carnitas, al pastor, carne asada, pescado. Pickled carrots were awesome, just help yourself from the salsa bar. Carnitas was flavorful not greasy. Al pastor a bit too salty. Al pastor was outstanding! I even liked the wife’s fish taco. An easy 5 stars for this place!
