Great boba place! Love the milk tea with lychee. They have really good coconut shrimp. Most appetizers are $ 3.99. You can’t beat the good prices. The only drawback is that it gets crowded and lots of times it’s hard to find seating depending on what time you come in. My husband and I stopped by at 9:30pm the other night and it was packed. Love all the boba flavors and will be coming back for another great appetizer or fried rice.

Usually restaurant spots later on at night come with low expectations, but this is one of those times I leave with a new and appreciative perspective. When I came in Andrea was courteous and patient as myself and my friends deliberated over their impressive menu, and was extremely attentive to our personal wants. Later on Jamie made sure that, even though one of the items we ordered was run out, we left hooked up. 8.75÷10 would come again

I love the name of this place. It’s fun confusing my friends when I tell them to meet me at «That Boba Place». I’ve been here quite a bit, even when they were at their smaller, previous location. The drinks are always good. From the taro slush to the thai tea, I’ve never had a drink here that I didn’t like. The boba has always been spot on. They’re cooked perfectly so they’re nice and chewy. While I may order different drinks from time to time, the salt & pepper chicken is always a staple for me. It’s popcorn chicken, fried perfectly, and filled with awesomeness. They’re nicely cooked, which results in a juicy and tender piece every time. The seasoning they use is amazing and you can order the chicken from zero spice to hot. I have a high tolerance when it comes to spicy foods so I got their hottest level, and I’m not going to lie, it was pretty spicy. Don’t underestimate the spice here. Everything sounds good so why only 3 stars? The employees here aren’t pleasant at all. About 90% of the time, someone with a Debbie downer attitude helps me out. I don’t know if I have bad luck or if this is a normal thing here. Luckily, all I do is get my drink/food and run and only have to deal with them for a few minutes. That Boba Place has my seal of approval for their food and drinks. For their customer service, not so much.

Great food and boba usually but today I walked out with nothing because the service was pathetic. I came in at 10:40, waited for 5 minutes as they took a phone order and then they told me they couldn’t serve food even as there sign right behind them says the kitchen closes at 10:50. To go along with it they were outta there best drink, the watermelon juice.

Great place right behind Kickin Crab. I got the Earl Grey Milk tea, large. Great strong taste! I got it with less ice and they usually water it down if you do that, but not here! I tried their calamari but it tasted a little undercooked. I think they need to re-vamp the menu or I might have missed it. I saw there was things such as fruit loop milk tea but I did not see any specialty on the menu, just regular choices.

I’ll be honest, I am definitely a Boba novice with little experience in the Boba world. I’ve had it a few times at other places, so I’ll have to use that as my comparison for this place. I tried what looks to be their special, Fruit loop milk tea(I added Boba of course). It was good, but I was expecting a stronger taste of the fruit loop aspect of it. One thing from a logistics standpoint that bothered me was the fact that there was one little garbage can towards the door to exit, but nowhere else. It was odd because when I got my tea, took my straw out of the wrapper, I spent minutes trying to figure out where the garbage was just to end up putting it in my pocket so I wouldn’t have to avoid the line just to throw it out. I feel like they should have a second garbage can, even if it’s smaller so people won’t have to awkwardly keep their straw wrappers or end up leaving them on the counter. My friends also tried one of the brick toast desserts and curly fries. They weren’t impressed with the dessert, but absolutely loved the curly fries. They even went back on line to get more. So the moral of the story is: get the fruit loop tea but don’t expect it to knck your socks off, there is only one garbage can & it’s in the corner by the door and the curly fries are awesome.

What Boba Place? The Boba Place. What is Boba? It’s tapioca balls that Asians like to put in there smooths or ice slushys. Don’t ask it’s an Asian thing but it’s good. This location is in CM next to Deelux used clothing store, also a good spot for you ladies out there. D e c o r Pretty modern fixtures but not really the type of place you would want to hang out in. The seating isn’t comfortable and it noisy in there. S e r v i c e This place always has plenty of people working but the staff is literally in slow motion. Just a bunch of young high school girls that can’t stop thinking about shopping and whatever else. I just want to shake one of them and say snap out of it and make my smoothie and stop daydreaming!!! W a i t T i m e I imagine the standard wait time to make a smoothie would be at max 5 minutes but at The Boba Place they have broken the world record at 25 minutes. I guess they ran out of watermelon and had to go across the street and buy more. Just kidding but it seemed like it considering that’s a long GD time to make a smoothie. F l a v o r Luckily all of the smoothies have ordered taste really good. O v e r a l l This place lags and i hate standin around waiting and waiting on my smoothie. Just make it and let me go. I have given this place so many chances and every time i am let down. I might just stop coming because the wait is just crazy. I like the flavors but not worth it. Thanks for reading. Matthew Y.

One of the few boba places that exist in the area, so there’s not much of a choice. It can get pretty busy here, especially on weekends. But on the upnote, this place is actually comparatively very cheap! And it tastes good! :9 My favorite is always the jasmine milk tea. It’s really refresh with the first sip because the jasmine flavoring is pretty strong(very sweet) and the ice makes it pretty cool. I also like their earl grey milk tea, since the earl grey presence is also pretty strong. They don’t have almond milk tea(favorite of all time) on the menu, but I heard they can customize drinks.

Needed my boba fix and this place was on my radar. I ordered the regular almond milk tea with boba. At $ 3.25, I thought the price was really good. They charge .30 extra for boba. I’ve seen it priced at .50 or more other places, so, again, I thought the prices were more than reasonable. Had the almond milk tea with boba. It was delicious. I only wish I upgraded to the large. It’s almost ridiculous not to do so; it’s only like .50 more. I learned this after the fact. Service was friendly but very slow. The floors were not very clean; straw wrappers, etc were everywhere. This is the reason for 3 stars vice 4. I’ll be back to try the hazelnut milk tea.

Slow service, waited 15 min in line. I watched 3 people behind the counter trying to get orders done then one would come back and finish taking orders then leave again to help the girls while the line was getting longer. I ended up leaving.
