Welcome to the most controversial park in Costa Mesa. I took a stroll through the park today. I saw Many people napping in the shade(it was really hot today) A police officer talking to a civilian Some families at the playground I did not see Picnic tables(they have been removed to discourage feeding of the homeless) Drug use(not that I was seeking it out) Apparently the restrooms have been locked permanently(guess why?) A group called Dwelling 222 hosts a potluck here every Wednesday afternoon and all are welcome. Bring your own chairs! I’ll bet that they take donations. Let’s see what further developments transpire in Wilson Street Park. Don’t worry; I have my eye on this place. Until then, I declare it safe for all! During official open hours, of course.

Small park on Wilson Street between Fairview Road and Harbor Blvd. Wilson park provides: Shades from Trees along the park Small rolling hills Playground for Kids Volleyball Net Benches BBQ pit and area(only 1 available) Wide Flat area for workouts or games such as soccer. Wilson Street Park is convenient, but somewhat populated with the homeless. I would not recommend to come here for a run. It’s a park to play ball with your dogs or a good outdoor workout within a reasonable space. Till next time, SYOY!
