Very enjoyable lunch in a casual setting. Food was fresh and hot. Been here a few times and enjoy it every time. Highly recommended

Food is alright and they serve huge portions. Service is fast but they don’t give you no appetizer while you wait for your food like Pizza Kitchen as courtesy they ask if you’d like bread while you wait and on the side they give you their signature olive oil for your bread. There’s no even salt or pepper nor olive oil on the tables… They take a while to bring your food… Overall I can’t compare Pizza Kitchen with this place… But is similar to their menu although Wolfgang Puck Menu is small… Is not what I expected. but at least I know where to go instead.

Located inside the macy’s building, good place to rest and energy up for a full day of shopping and walking around south coast plaza. Food was so-so, expected more from the name«wolfgang puck.» This is more café, quick style. still have the friendly service and attention but in a very fast pace. started off with fried calamari in a bed of arugula and some slice pepperocini. it was a good balance of crispy, bitter, tart and spicy. garlic fries were dry and lack garlic flavor. as for entrees, the roasted salmon on a bed of cauliflower purée and brocollini looked good, but the fish was so overdone. It was so dry, not even the cauliflower purée revived it. The broccolini was probably the best part of it. salmon, so dry! our table also got the spaghetti with chicken meatballs and the seared sea bass over white beans and olive tampenade. both were ok. service was pretty good. they were on spot with refill of our drinks.

This place right at Macy’s on South Coast Plaza We Waited a little bit to get seated. Our waitress was polite and helpful. Although place was not crowded it took them a little while to bring our food. We ordered Butternut squash soup and tortilla soup to start. The butternut squash soup was delicious. Great flavor with a hint of maple syrup The chicken tortilla soup was good, but a little to much tomatoey flavor for our taste We also had the Chinois chicken salad and the classic Caesar salad with chicken Chinois chicken salad is an Asian style Salad with finger vinaigrette. Great flavor lots of pieces of chicken, lots of cashews. Pleasantly surprised with this salad The Caesar salad was also good chicken was grilled and actually grilled to perfection. Meat was cooked, but not dried, great grilled flavor The place looked clean, but lack attention to detail: As part of décor they have framed posters, these were wiped probably wet rag, and hey had dirty water stains Restroom had papers Restroom doors had paint peeling off and had a look dirty kind of gross to see something like that on a bistro

Wolfgang Puck is my favorite restaurant in Las Vegas so we walked into this Costa Mesa location with high expectations. Unfortunately, we left feeling a bit disgusted. The Unilocal entry identifies this establishment as being a standard Wolfgang Puck Bistro but I suspect this particular location might actually be a Wolfgang Puck Express. The dining area was smaller and menu was quite limited versus traditional WP restaurants I’ve encountered in the past. For what it’s worth, the food is decent. A diner could conceivably be met with a 4 to 4.5 star experience here. My experience on 2015-11-15 was 1-star though. We waited 45 minute for food and were on the verge of walking out — but before doing so my friend decided to get up, hunt down a manager, and find out what was up with our order. Contacting the manager was necessary because our waiter Trevor seemed to have no clue. We were told that the delay was due to a large party who ordered before us. The only problem with that theory is that we actually sat down and ordered 10 minutes **before** that large party even arrived. The manager was a congenial fellow. He apologized and comp’d our meal(his idea, not ours) and to be honest I was pretty much prepared to just write this incident off as a bad experience in an otherwise decent restaurant, move on, and skip reviewing this place all together. But unfortunately, just prior to leaving, waiter Trevor decided to cop an attitude, toss our bill on the table(no joke, he tossed it), scowl at us, and sarcastically remark, «Have a great day.» Thus the zero tip for Trevor and the 1-star review. This restaurant has potential. Management is competent. Food is good. That said, keeping moody servers like Trevor on staff is a mistake which will likely doom the establishment in the long-run.

My mom and I were shopping at Macys at South Coast Plaza and decided to have dinner here as its connected to the store. We were there on a Saturday night and the place was pretty empty. But the service and food were good. Our waiter seemed to be a bit timid, maybe he was new, but otherwise he was good. I had the CHINOISCHICKEN — cabbage, romaine, baby greens, cashews, pickle ginger, crispy wontons, ginger-sesame vinaigrette. It was very tasty. Lots of good stuff in it. Nice chicken cut into thin pieces. Mom had the RIGATONICHICKENALFREDO — mushrooms, baby peas, goat cheese. I ate all the mushrooms as my mom does not like them. She liked everything else though. Good alfredo sauce, nice chicken and peas. Good size portion without being too big. This is definitely a nice spot to come if you are shopping and don’t want to do the more fast-food type places.

So I actually really want to rate this a 3.5, but rather than skew it further towards a 3, I rounded up. This place has some really solid menu items and some really meh ones. As a result, you can have a fantastic dining experience if you know what to order, but you can also have a truly mediocre experience. The staff varies from really pleasant and attentive to a little distant and awkward. I’m a huge fan of the butternut squash soup — it’s to die for. In fact, the main reason I come here now is to get this soup. The baked goat cheese is also amazing. They keep switching what they serve it with(used to be a play on zeppole and now it’s «just» bread), but the cheese itself with the marinara is super delicious. Pro-tip: I like to keep the appetizer around if we ordered fries to act as a dip. Super yummy. The pizzas I remember being pretty good, and their fries are solid. Stay away from the meatball sandwich and the calamari is OK. Great place for an afternoon lunch or snack, I always like coming here during or before shopping at Coast Plaza.

Just came in today at about 4:30 after getting my hair done and before my eyebrow appt. I hadn’t eaten barely anything all day so I was starving. The guy at the front was nice and I ordered a chicken sandwich to go with potato chips. Another gentleman said I could sit down to wait and was very friendly. It only took about 8 minutes to make my food; and the guy who gave it to me was also nice. I didn’t have time to eat it before my appt but once I got in my car I went at that sandwich and it was delicious. It came on a soft big roll with garlic aioli spread, broccoli I and roasted tomatoes– it was so delicious– I ate half of it on the way home and the potato chips toasted like real potatoes! Amazing late lunch that completely satisfied me. I’ll definitely be coming back if I’m at Macy’s

The wife and I were at SCP walking around and we wanted to grab a bite and we stumbled upon Wolfgangs. It was around lunch time when we sat down. We were greeted by one of there servers and shown to our table in the back which was nice because the AC was working really good over there and it was 100 degrees outside. D E C O R I would say its a causal dining style atmosphere. Very modern and clean and nice looking. S E R V I C E The service at the joint was a little lacking. It took 15 minutes to order a drink and another 10 minutes to order our food. They seemed to have a lot of people walking around but only one server which is odd. There were a good amount of people in this restaurant at lunch time so they should have more then one server. This didn’t make sense. C A E S A R S A L A D — $ 8.00 Tomato crostini, Parmesan and nice and cold. It was a good salad and big too. B A C O N W R A P P E D M E A T L O A F — $ 14.00 Mashed potatoes, Crispy onion strings, Port wine sauce It’s kinda funny for me but not really funny but I hate meatloaf. It’s just awful but i was sold on the Unilocal pictures so i ordered it hoping for the best. When it came out it looked damn good. I took the first bite and wow that was tasty. I think the sauce was what made everything taste so wonderful. It was the port wine sauce with the dripping of the meatloaf. I really liked it and i gave some to my wife and she really liked it as well but a little on the pricey side for meat loaf. S M O K E D S A L M O N P I Z Z A — $ 18.00 Dill cream, Capers, Chives and Salmon. This pizza was covered from top to bottom in salmon. Me personally this wouldn’t be my first choice but my wife wanted this pizza so we had to order it. I was blown away because it was just salmon, cream cheese and crust for $ 18 bucks that’s highway robbery. It was good but not worth the money in my opinion. O v e r a l l The food was really good but pricey and the service was dreadfully slow and painful. I said it before and I’ll say it again If you have the most amazing flavor and the best presentation but your service is bad that right there is a party fowl /deal breaker for me. When you go to a place that is more upscale you expect better service, great flavors, beautiful dishes, and expensive prices. So when something is missing it’s just off putting. Good experience but I don’t think ill be back again. Thanks for reading, Matthew Y.

I had been here several times, considering I used to work right a few minutes away. Only thing, I just hadn’t remembered to come back. The service was really mediocre, dull and a little forgetful with requests. It could have been because it was the end of someone’s shift and seemed like the restaurant was closing. I get it, long days happen and you just can’t wait to get out of there sometimes! There were two smaller dogs which were let in, with their owners sitting in the middle of the restaurant who just wouldn’t stop barking(NONSTOP). Figured it would be against some sort of public health or sanitation regulations to have animals(who aren’t service dogs) inside restaurants… Bread and olive oil usually come minutes after you sit down. We had to politely ask if we could have some table bread after taking our entrée order. No big deal, just miss those small gestures sometimes. They used to have this delicious focaccia bread and sticks, but seems like they’ve changed some things up a bit. I had a basic beet salad(forgot to mention no onions) so I enjoyed a decent salad with dressing on the side. Overall, the restaurant was clean and décor was very basic– as it’s a bistro, you can’t expect anything extravagant. This is a cool spot if you’re looking to take some co-workers for a small quick lunch and maybe a cocktail. I could give this place another shot, per say, but I’ll probably come back during earlier morning or lunch time to avoid dull service at the end of the day.

Great service and great food! My mom and I came in with my two year old niece. We were promptly seated in a quiet corner. They server was very considerate with our niece and didn’t make a fuss when she made a mess(don’t worry we picked up after her). We got her the chicken tenders and they easily replaced her side with cooked broccolini and carrots. I got the veggie burger. It tasted great, but like many veggie patties(especially quinoa and bean based) it got a bit messy. But over all was good. And their fries were skinny and crispy! My mom got the butternut squash soup which she enjoyed. She also got the chicken meatball pizza which was pretty good too. It was my second time eating there and will probably be back again.

I had the Turkey BLAT. The bacon was a little less crispy than I would have liked. But the jalapeño aioli was to DIEFOR!!! Absolutely AMAZING… I also had a few bites of my friends burger and it was INCREDIBLE!!! The fries had a little hint of something like rosemary? So good! The lack of the 5th star was because of our witress. She was foreign and SOSWEET but so bad… she got my friends burger wrong and was pretty much MIA the whole time and VERY hard of hearing. We were in a hurry because i had to get back to work and ended up having to ask for our check and she brought us the WRONG one… we didnt even ask for separate checks cuz we assumed it would be too much of a hassle. Such a nice older lady but just not so great at waitressing…

This is the second time we got rude, arrogant low class customer service by Ryan the manager at this restaurant. Today he went above and beyond and sent one of his guys by the name Art to help us. Art tough we were asking for a free meal and gave us so much attitude and left our table unattended because they ‘didn’t like us’. I’m so sorry, this store is operated by Macys South Coast Plaza but their service is just horrible according to our own experience. Ryan and Art needs to be to written up by management. There is not reason we had to pay our money to be treated poorly and made us angry on our dinner time. There is not a valid excuse for this situation.

I tried this place twice and the food was awful especially being a well known restaurant I was hoping it was more satisfactory. I had the crispy calamari as a appetizer and the roasted salmon as a entrée. I didn’t like those yellow peppers in the calamari it made it taste sour and I had to picked it all out. The dipping sauce was good. My salmon was dry and the rest on my plate was nothing out of the ordinary. Lemonade was average. Maybe I ordered the wrong food or maybe this location at the South Coast Plaza Mall is not the best place to dine. Seating is very limited here when its more of a café setting. Restaurant looks classy then the food isn’t here.

Had a early dinner on a Sunday afternoon and at first glance the bistro is pretty small. Has a large patio but on a gloomy day everyone was inside. Open kitchen was pretty cool, you stand there and see how a dish is made. Had the shrimp pesto pasta dish and even though the portion might be a okay size the flavors were amazing and by far a go to dish next time I’m in a Wolfgang Puck restaurant. Had garlic and olive oil and the shrimp was limited to 4 large shrimp. I thought it was alright as far as the portion. Also tried the calamari and at first it was ok, but the light batter and small bite calamari with peppers on top of a arugala salad. For dessert I had their banana split and it was so good. Two scoops of vanilla and one scoop of chocolate. Caramelized banana with blueberries and strawberries. Prices are decent and my server Rae was simply attentive and nice.

Came here for lunch and the food was pretty good. I had the pesto rotisserie chicken and was surprised how big the portion was. Basically half a chicken, an arugula salad, and crispy potatoes. The flavors were perfect. The garlic pesto bread was addicting. The chicken was moist and packed with flavor. Connected to Macys.

The food here is ok but not great. The service was terrible. Tried to have dinner here while at the mall a few weeks ago. Arrived at the front door at 8:02 and was told they were closed. Then someone walks in as we are turning away saying they had a reservation for 8pm and they were let in. WTH? Was back at the mall today so decided to step in for lunch. I had asked if they had gluten free pasta or pizza and they didn’t. They handed me a very limited gluten free menu with about a handful of items. I ordered the pesto chicken. 25 minutes after we ordered the waitress comes back and says they didn’t have any chicken left. People around us who sat after us were already eating. Seriously it took them 25 mins to figure out they didn’t have anymore chicken!!! I was starving at this point and hence very very hangry. She comes back and says they can at least give me chicken breast. Ok I went with that. My chicken was a bit dry. No me gusta!

Dined here this afternoon on the outside patio with my husband and in-laws. I ordered the veggie burger which was made from quinoa and beans and had a side of garlic fries. It was really good! The staff was super friendly, especially our server Melissa who was attentive and checked on us frequently. This is a good lunch spot for a mid-day shopping break!

I had only tried Wolfgang Puck’s restaurants once a while back in Vegas. I was kind of surprised when I walked past this Bistro on my way into the mall and figured I’d love to try it again… so in I went to check out the menu first. The offerings looked yummy, and I do remember how good the pizzas were in Vegas, and the place wasn’t too packed at noon, so I decided to have my lunch here. There was some outdoor patio seating out front, but it was kind of cold today so I took a booth inside. Nice trendy casual décor with an open kitchen concept. A waitress saw me standing at the entrance checking out the menu and came up to me and asked if I was dining there today… I said sure! There’s a good selection of very tasty looking offerings, and I would have loved to try a variety of them, but being on my own… not going to happen today. Would be good if I can gather up a group of friends to come here next time. The server came over a few minutes later and he was very friendly and helpful in answering some questions I had about the dishes. I was so set on trying the pizza, but then I remembered I’m on a low carb diet :)…and went with my second choice of something healthier… which still sounded yummy… the Roasted Salmon on a bed of cauliflower purée, broccolini, and garnished with cherry tomatoes. Ok, honestly, it was very good, but wasn’t spectacular knock your socks off good. I think it’s because I’ve been eating so much salmon in recently that it’s just become a bit too common. But this dish was actually very good for what it was. A very fresh piece of salmon, seasoned and roasted to perfection. For a second there I thought the cauliflower purée was mashed potato, but I didn’t recall seeing any mash on the menu for this dish. The portion was a bit on the small side, but overall a very good quality fish lunch nevertheless. And, no overpowering sauces or seasonings to overwhelm the taste of the salmon, which I liked. Will definitely be back, and will hopefully get to order the pizza then :)

My family and I went here because we had received a voucher from . We had a $ 50 off voucher but with a minimum purchase of $ 100. Our server was really nice and helpful. We ordered the Cavatappi Chicken Alfredo, Seared Sea Bass, Flat Iron Steak, Pesto Rotisserie Chicken, Clam Chowder, and Garlic Fries. Adding in drinks and everything, with the $ 50 off our total came out to be around $ 68 which wasn’t that bad.
