Overpriced crap food. Not surprised this place is closed.

Came for a mid day cocktail on a saturday, it was quiet, they really fixed the place up nicely. My friend ordered lunch, i tried it and it was delish. I would love to try for brunch one day. Hope they stick around!

Awesome atmosphere. Dre is on hand and really cares about your experience. Staff is very accommodating, and who can pass up bottomless mimosas?

They don’t take American express cards. That’s the only negative thing. Food. Is good. Nice verity. Fries we’re very good and ice tea really fresh and tasty. Prices fair. Good location and outdoor seating available. I had the Cuban sandwich. Almost like the real deal. Bread different, sure the real stuff unavailable. Going to have gumbo next visit Real comfortable place

Delicious local bar and grill. Fabulous service and perfect food! I loved the natural cut fries — nice and salty! I had the Juicy Bird and hubs had the Cubano sandwiches and we loved the unique combination of ingredients. The atmosphere is very casual. We got a great deal on Living Social. After checking in we got a coupon too! Nice. Oh and the catfish tacos we had for an appetizer were the best fish tacos I’ve had in a while! They’re 2 for $ 6 on Tuesdays!

Wonderful atmosphere and pleasant knowledgeable staffing. Catfish bits are great. The bar is lively and the best bartender around. From the moment you enter your mood is better. I’m the type of person that eats out most of the time. I’m glad to have found a new place to feel welcome and want to stay longer than just to eat and leave. Stay, have a drink and soak up the great atmosphere.

Keep up the great work, Dre’s. The fish tacos, the catfish bites, the bottomless mimosas with delicious breakfast on the weekends, no matter what I’ve had I have thoroughly enjoyed myself. The service is always excellent and the food and drinks are on point. If you’re looking for a local spot with great music, local products, a chill vibe and outstanding service, hit up Dre’s. Can’t wait to go back! Well done Dre, well done indeed!

Great place, great atmosphere, great live music. They have an incredible great southern menu with Cajun type of specialties. They also have a very good large bar area with lots of friendly and competent bartenders working. Great local place to have dinner and drinks and hang out and listen to live music in Cotati.

Hold on a second *slurp fingers*, I just gotta *slurp* clean my fingers. My sister took me to Dre’s for my birthday. To be honest, their online menu made me a bit bored but I didn’t have a better idea so we went. I’m glad we did. I had fried chicken and waffles. My sister had a pulled pork sandwich. We shared chicken wings and catfish nuggets appetizers. At Dre’s one chicken wing is the entire wing, not a wing segment. So six wings is six full chicken wings — or 12 wings anywhere else. They come with the wingtips — my favorite part of the chicken. The spicy buffalo sauce is nothing special but it’s not bad. My sister ordered ranch to dip it in. It was house made and far less disgusting than normal ranch. The catfish nuggets came with two different kinds of seasonings and house made tarter sauce. They were crunchy and flavorful. They didn’t have the typical catfish muddiness. My sister’s pulled pork was delicious. She was most impressed and surprised by how delicious was the house-made champagne vinaigrette. She basically shoved a scoop of salad into my mouth to try. My chicken was yummy but slightly overcooked. The breading was flavorsome. It was light breading chicken with a savory spice mix in the breading. Most impressive were the waffles. The waffles had nutmeg in them which bridged the gap between sweet and savory deliciously. The iced tea tasted like it came from a clean pot and did not have that in the nose flavor which comes from a dirty pot. Our server was nice, and served us promptly. We went because they had a offer. We will go back because they put their heart into their food. The menu looks like diner food but don’t be fooled, this place has a point of view.

Eggs Benedict was really good. Not heavy, eggs were perfectly done runny. Grits were good and cooked all the way thru. Service was good. Nice ambiance. Definitely would come again to try the waffles.

For a place that wasn’t busy ATALL, we sat down at 4p, was served our drinks, and no one took our order for nearly 15 – 20 mins, then had to wait another 20 – 25 mins to receive our food. Seriously, I’d understand if it were busy… But it wasn’t. The fries were burnt… The catfish had no flavor, and the service itself was mediocre, at best. Finally, we, re leaving… It’s 5:15p. Not to mention having two babies with us. The hot link Sando was the best part, other than being with good people, I’d probably not come back.

Friday June 12 lunch — Dre’s has cleaned up the old Cotati Yacht Club & Mom’s Boarding House site nicely. New bathrooms, paint, nicely redecorated. From that point on the experience was a let down. The place wasn’t busy when we arrived. The bar had a work crew of maybe 6 people sitting at the bar and watching the TV. We went to the dining room. One other table was occupied. While we were there 3 other tables filled in. While trying to decide what to eat we asked about the items on the specials board, details and prices. She couldn’t tell us anything for certain. Not even the prices. She goes to the register and is telling the kitchen about issues with pricing on the computer and never gets us answers about the items on the specials board. Never learned about the chicken tacos. Never saw the chips and salsa advertised outside, but we didn’t ask either. OK — order from the menus provided. One was a breakfast/brunch menu and I had been given the lunch menu. I order from the lunch menu. The server then says she has to ask if ‘he’ll make the(whatever) since that’s the wrong menu”, I say well let me order something from the right menu and she responds, Oh, but it took you so long to make up your mind. I just order a BLT from the specials board. We thought perhaps the server was new and asked if she had been on since the opening. She responded yes and had been with the prior establishment as well. So, this was not a case of being new, just not informed. Plates arrive, nice presentation. My side salad is nice dark greens with feta cheese and lots of sliced grape tomatoes with a really good homemade champagne vinaigrette. The BLT is made on squishy wheat bread, some hard center leaves from the heart of iceberg make the sandwich fall apart when bitten because there’s nothing to balance the sandwich with the iceberg creating this big lump in the middle of the 2 pieces of bread. The bacon was maybe 2 slices for the sandwich some mayo and a few small slices of tomato. $ 10.98 after being told it was«$ 12, I think.» My companion ordered an omelet from the right menu. $ 10.98. Nice presentation, big chunky well seasoned potatoes on the side but the sausage in the omelet wasn’t fully cooked. Ice tea was good. Not an experience to bring us back. Perhaps the place is more about the college bar scene.

Although I work here I have to leave a review about our food because I am a frequent customer. The hands down best chicken wings I’ve ever had in my life, and let me tell you, I’ve gone to town on more chicken wings in my life than I can count and the wings here are so good that the mere thought of it makes my mouth water. The fries are hand cut and perfectly crispy. The salads all have local organic greens… NOM! All sauces and dips are house made and fresh… Just come try it for yourself!

New spot in Cotati. Just what Cotati needed, an upscale bar and grill with cool art deco. Looks like the DJ overlooks the crowd. Menu looks good. Good bye Yacht Club. Saturday night is ladies night.

Waited so Long for this Bar & Grill to reopen. Went for brunch last week and it took over 40 mins for a salad and sandwich. Bar service was great — but even she agreed the kitchen was way to slow even with 4 people there? Won’t be back anytime soon. Too bad. It’s a great location but these new owners don’t have it together yet. My opinion: not ready for prime time.

So the food is bomb. Brunch and the eggs benedict are so good. Mimosas, an outdoor area… The entire space is completely transformed, if you remember the former Yacht Club, you won’t be disappointed! It’s only been«open» a month and the first few weeks were a soft opening to friends/family so no shit they were still getting up and going. They’ve got it locked down now so go! There’s no where else like it in Cotati. We have an opportunity to provide constructive criticism on these avenues.(And they’re listening!) Don’t be a hater, be a player in supporting and watching this business grow from the ground up! And seriously, try the eggs benne… Omg.

What a great addition to Cotati! Dre’s recently opened and is killing it already with the menu and service. A great place to meet for happy hour or watch the game. The menu has excellent variety, ranging from bar food to health foods. Some nights they have a DJ at the bar, too. This place will only keep getting better and better.

So excited to have this new bar & grill in Cotati! This is a happening place with a cool vibe and very friendly service. The food borders comfort meets soul meets healthy all in one! Dre’s is family friendly yet also has a great bar with a neighborhood feel! Robust selection of draft beers & cocktails with a beautiful copper bar too &TV screens for the sports fans. Dre’s Bar & Grill is just what Cotati needed and I plan to visit often! PS– if you love Mac & Cheese, you will be hooked on the version Dre’s serves up!
