My wife and I have been here a couple of times now, and the staff is always fast, friendly, and efficient. Their beer specials are great, and they have a decent selection. We haven’t tried the food, so we can’t comment on that. It also helps that they have a pool table and table shuffleboard. All in all, a great neighborhood bar.

What a fun and enchanting small town bar! We were up for the weekend from Phoenix and enjoyed getting a taste of local life! This is the place to go! The have live music — typically«rockabilly» and lots of tvs for watching games. Lots of locals frequent this bar. Bar staff is friendly and fun. Definitely a lot of flair! :)

After a weekend trip to Jerome, a group of friends and I needed a spot to watch football and have some beers. One of my friends found this place online, and I’m glad he did. We had an awesome time, and spent an entire day here drinking, eating, and watching football. They have NFL Sunday Ticket and even asked us what games we wanted to watch on each tv. Great place, great staff and awesome atmosphere. If you’re looking for a place to go watch the games and have some pitchers of cheap beer, look no further.

After several stops in Cottonwood, we finally poked our heads in here! Great little bar! Unpretentious and perfect contrast to the wine tasting venues downtown. Can’t remember the friendly blonde bartender’s name, but she was very cool. Hope to stay in Cottonwood and check out the live music here sometime.

We spent some time doing battle with the elements during a beautiful sightseeing train ride through the scenic Verde Canyon in nearby Clarkdale. So a tall cold brewski was in order. We stopped in Cottonwood to survey the downtown area for an appropriate watering hole and Kactus Kate’s Saloon jumped out at us. Maybe it was the kitschy outdoor sign or the convenient location on Main Street, but it summoned us with a thirsty siren call. We bellied up to the bar and ordered ourselves some cold, cold beers. The interior was not near as «divey» as we might have anticipated, but the clientele were colorful and the barstools were comfortable. I treated my bar companion to a shot of sweet tea vodka with lemon on this appropriately hot summer’s day. We decided to beat feet and hit the road, but I noted with my eagle-eye that this place sold package liquor. We ordered up a six-pack of Pabst Blue Ribbon to go and were prepared for later that evening as we unwound in the jacuzzi at our hotel, barely aware of the red rock monoliths and creatures of the desert that surrounded us.
