RV park that also has tent camping sites. There’s a lot of activity going on here, which is bad or good depending on what you are looking for, and what your idea of «camping» is. I never thought I’d own an RV let alone stay in one! I was a die hard tent/car camper, and occasionally did a backpacking trip here and there. One summer night about 10 years ago, it was raining at midnight, and it was 108 degrees in our tent. I packed up, went home, and never looked back! Summers in Arizona are brutal, and I prefer to be inside at night in AC, or in a pool or water of some sort during the day. Ya’ got both here! This place is a great if this is your idea of camping. Sites are spacious with lawns, not all dirt or gravel like most places. There’s a swimming pool, very large, with a great resort-like pool area and clubhouse. The bathrooms are perfectly clean and functional. Among other ammenities, there’s a clubhouse for kareoake, a restaurant, paddle tennis, playground, another clubhouse with wi-fi & cable TV… And more! Staff is very friendly and helpful as well. I paid a year membership for about 300 bucks. The first 30 nights are free, and then after 30, its 3 bucks a night. There seems to be a lot of full-timers here, and you get the feeling they have a sense of entitlement to ammenities and what not… And that kind of bugs me. While being very family friendly, it is mostly old, grumpy, crochety folks that prevent me from giving it 5 stars. There’s 50 amp sites for 5 bucks more, 30 amp sites are free(with membership), and I’m not sure how much the tent sites are(with electricity and water). They also have cabin rentals for about 75 dollars a night too. I’ll enjoy my one year membership here, and probably won’t renew, as I like to try new places and move around a bit. But, overall, it’s a very clean, friendly, spacious, and well-run establishment that I think most people would love!

We stayed during Thanksgiving weekend. The weather was quite cool. The bathrooms are very clean, showers have nice HOT water. The grounds are clean & very quiet. We are in a small RV not needing sewer so we stayed in the A area on the outside edge, they were very private and large. They also have cute rental cabins, lots of trails. Pool, restaurant club house. Close to Sedona & Jerome. Great place we will be back.

Very quiet, laid back, and nicely hidden at the bottom of the valley. Minutes from Sedona and has a handful of walking trails. I would definitely return.

A nice RV park, but truly too expensive for what it is. We were somewhat tricked into coming here, because we were told that you could park RVs on BLM land on this road for free. We kept coming down the road and couldn’t find anything until finally coming up to the gates of this park. We had to stay because we couldn’t figure out where this magical free land was, and it was something like $ 45 a night. Just a ridiculous rate.

This is a great RV resort. Lots of space and the views are great. Park rangers are very polite and people orientated. Note this is a thousand trails member park. Also note that AT&T cell phone & data really suck. It a hit & miss. Most all the spaces are large pull thrus with grassy areas. We really like everything about this resort EXCEPTAT&T cell phone service.
