Surprisingly, this was a decent place for lunch. I reluctantly agreed to go when a co-worker suggested we stop here for lunch. I must admit, I actually kinda enjoyed the meal. It was nicer on the inside than the outside and appeared clean. It might be even more enjoyable for dinner when they fire up the Mongolian grill.

The food was terrible, for the size of the dining room they food section was small and selection was nil. I depositied all of it and more thismorning in the toilet. I don’t know what came over me, I should have turned around and walked out of the place and had better food at Taco Bell.

Chinese buffet. This is really about all you need to know. It’s basically your standard issue Americanized, mass produced Chinese food. If you like Chinese buffet food this will work just fine for you. If you want something better than the norm, not getting it here. I don’t particularly know what else to say about the food. It’s exactly what you are expecting it to be. The service was a touch slow in my opinion. Refills were slow in coming but they managed to clean off plates in a timely fashion. Parking lot seemed far more full than it should be based on the small crowd inside. it was lunch and this makes me think that at dinner time parking might be a problem. Looking for chinese buffet, I’m sure you can do better, but you will probably be more or less satisfied if you went here.

Lo mein is best we have had nearby. General tso and sesame chicken tasted good, nut a lil too much sauce made them both squishy vice the nice crunchy I prefer, even when they were fresh from kitchen. I don’t usually do fried rice but tonight theirs was awesome. The crab Rangoon when fresh was best I’ve had in the area. Neither myself nor my wife used the mongo bar, in fact no patron did tonight. So u have no comment, except to say the item and sauce choices were a lil smaller than other places cross the river. The hot n sour soup was good. I only tried it tho since the egg drop looked terrible. I often put steamed/fried wontons in my egg drop soup, but the wontons looked limp n pathetic. Another knock we had was the non existence of seafood salad, but considering it was like 85 inside that might have been a good thing. Wife complained that the cold dishes were at or near room temp. Every patron had a coating of sweat sheen, even the young servers were affected. We will deffinately be returning. But if it’s that hot inside we will deff leave.
