I started going to Salon Extasy a couple years ago, when my wife urged me to try it out since its so close to where we live. I’m glad I finally did. I see Shawna for my hair cuts and she is awesome. Very down to earth and extremely nice. And hair cuts aren’t too bad of priced at about $ 20 a pop. I got my first massage last week by their masseuse,(can’t remember her name), and it was one of the better massages that I have ever received. I forgot to get her prices afterwards, as I used a gift certificate,(from my wife), for the massage, but it may have been around $ 40 for an hour. But in the end, I won’t be going anywhere else for a hair cut or a massage as long as Salon Extasy is there.

I absolutely love Salon Extasy. I have been enjoying their services now for 2 years, and I am excited every time I go back. My mother always cut my hair growing up. When it came to dye, I would always going to the hair school EQ, and pray for the best. My mother stopped cutting my hair when I turned 20, and I’ve bounced around from place to place, hairdresser to hairdresser. One hair dresser even managed to chop off 3 – 4 inches from my hair when I wanted a «trim,» a month before I was getting married. My friend told me about Salon Extasy and how she’d been going to the owners since she was a little girl. At this time, I was going to Ashley Lynn’s, which just dropped the girl who I had gone to two times. I was planning on getting my hair done for my wedding there, but had second thoughts. My friend encouraged me to go to Salon Extasy. I had a trial run with Kristi with how I thought I wanted my hair to be, and didn’t like the way it turned out. Not Kristi’s fault whatsoever, just me being picky. I trusted her on the day of that it would go great. I also had a trial makeup run. Salon Extasy only uses Tigi cosmetics, which is kind of a bummer. I was also unhappy with the makeup. Once again, not Kristi’s fault, just me over thinking everything. I will say if you do your own makeup really well, trying doing it yourself. If you are somewhat clueless about makeup, give it a try. I was going to Kristi for a while and loved her. She is very sweet and caring. You can tell she loves her job. I had missed a couple appointments which i felt terrible about and had a hard time getting back in with Kristi. I switched over to Shawna, and we just clicked. I’ve been going back to her ever since. i get my hair cut($ 20) and have every color imaginable(ombré to deep red and somewhere in between) and she’s been able to pull it off every time. Hair color will run me anywhere from $ 50-$ 100. She aways gives me exactly what I want, or gives me good ideas. I am never once scared of how it will come out. I also get my nails done every two weeks. They have CND Shellac! The real deal, not these knock off gel nails. For a ful manicure and set, it’s $ 30, a pedicure is $ 35, and only Shellac(what I get) is $ 15– what a steal. I was getting my nails done at Super Spa Nails, and they always ran out of colors and never had a variety like Salon Extasy. They also have a masseuse on staff, and your first massage is only $ 40! Downside: If you are booking for a wedding, they only have 4 current employees. But as I did, send them next door in what I think is Master Cuts to get their hair done. Getting in on the fly is almost impossible. I would plan at least two weeks for most of the hairdressers, and keep booking after each appointment to secure your spot. Since coming to Salon Extasy, I have invited 3 other people(my husband included) who couldn’t be happier with their experience. The salon is privately owned, and 4, close-knit women run it. Mel, Aubrey, Shawna, and Kristi are all highly-qualified wonderful people. They run like a family which is always inviting. I am so glad I found my forever hairdresser!
