Do not try to make reservations, they won’t do it. However, the place is huge & they have a banquet room in the back. The quality of food for the price you pay is unbelievable. Went here on a whim with a party of 9& it was someone’s birthday a couple days before so they sang(like an opera singer) in Mandarin & English to her. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place!

For a buffet, it wasn’t that bad. The selection is incredible and the price is great! If your looking for gourmet, this not the place, but for the price, it was a great deal.

My family and I came here to celebrate Mother’s day and I was looking forward to some good food. and that did not happen. Their sign outside stated they serve lobster on mother’s day and that is false advertising. Went in looking for lobster and nothing. I would not recommend this place.

Food is mediocre. The only positive thing I liked about this place was the way they mixed in garlic and hot sauce when you have noodles cooked at the teppanyaki grill. Nothing else stands out about this place.

Can’t beat the price for lunch. Huge variety, good food, nice staff. Sushi alone is worth the price but there is alot more!!!

The price is pretty reasonable here and its a really big venue. The service is what you’d expect of buffet. The food was just okay. Some highlights for me are the baked mussels, sushi/sashimi, and the sugar balls. I wouldn’t recommend the pizza. I think the place is worth a try.

Surprisingly Not bad This location had previously been a Peter Piper Pizza, over 3 yesrs ago. The space is massive and the food tables were really spread out. We came late for dinner tired & hungry on a Friday about 8pm. We didn’t expect much butv we found good to acceptable food quality. My Wife had seconds of the baked Salmon, Sushi and the Seaweed Salad we found was allso fresh. Desserts were a bit dissapointing. Some items had been left too long under tge lamps but all in all we were satisfied and would come back again since we lived nearby.

Dont waste ur money on this place. If I can give zero, thats what im going to give them. The waitresses are so rude. They are not smiling and always have this face like they dont want to help u. We are for a coffee at 2:55 pm and they said no coffee, no coffee. Gosh! They are so lazy. We saw the coffe pot and all they need to do ia brew. Theyre food is not good. The name is Hibachi and you think they will have a good selection of sashimi or sushi but they dont. It is so disappointing. Not even worth your penny. Poor management. Poor service. Not providing a good service. I will never ever come back here.

A very big restaurant with private rooms and sectioned off areas for extra large parties. My relatives have hosted numerous events here for birthdays to Christenings and having a super buffet works really well to accommodate everyone’s palette. It’s mainly Chinese food with excessive amounts of pretty much everything from crab legs, noodles, stir fry, soups, sticky buns, baked salmons, fried wontons, orange chicken, Mongolian beef and coconut shrimp to say the least. There’s even a sushi chef, carved meat section and a cook that can stir fry anything you want. Just slap it, flip it, rub it down! The salad and dessert tables hold a variety of treats from watermelons, pineapples and honey dews to mini cakes, cream puffs, froyo and my all time favorite fried plantains/bananas. Heaven help me! I can eat a whole plate of these and be completely happy. All in all its a pretty nice buffet priced reasonably @ $ 6.99 lunch during the week to $ 9.99 dinner. Saturday and Sunday’s are $ 10.99 and kids ages 3 – 10 $ 1 each year Food grade: A

The price was ok, but the service was really bad, when I was paying, the host just threw the change on the table and said nothing. Some of the food were too salty and the sushi section was bad. I was around the area otherwise I wouldn’t even be here.

this buffet has the potential to be a 4 or 5 star rating. i think the reason it gets 3 stars is the food is so spread out its hard to keep everything hot. By removing one section and making the food section trays smaller it would help keep the food hotter. the grill is really good and the hot and soup is great. can’t beat the price Sister buffet in ElMonte is always busy. Smaller food court with same menu but everything is steaming. however if you are throwing a big party they have a huge private dining room. $ 11.95 for dinner. $ 7.99 for lunch M-F

Very good food and so well prepared so many options to choose from the only problem here is you will get full before you can try everything. The service was very good I did not have to wait to long before I was asked if I would like my drink refilled when it was empty, me and my wife were seated right away. My overall experience was great I will definitely return to dine here again.

Cheap cheap cheap. Around $ 12 per person for dinner. Food quality is decent for the price. Not the best, but not the worst buffet food I’ve ever had either. Sushi is meh and stir fried foods were really oily. They have a lot of variety from Asian to American foods. I was surprised at how many different foods they had, like pot roast and ribs! That’s not something I’d usually expect from an Asian buffet. They had lots of seafood too. This is the kind of buffet I’d recommend if you wanted to stuff your face with both Asian and American foods in one place. Also probably good for people wanting a seafood buffet too. Just don’t eat too much of the sushi or sashimi. You might regret it later.

My dad kept raving about this place, so I went and I wish I could have turned around. It was empty which should have been the 1st clue, however he swears it gets crowded. The food looked congealed from lack of heat, there was a fly on the sushi, most of the trays were empty or barely had scraps and it was only 6:00. I don’t think anyone there speaks English. Never going again, sorry dad

Eats: Hello, greasy MSG Chinese food or should I say, good night? Takes: Your typical MSG laden joint. The stand out was the teppanyaki. However, even that was questionable. Cross contamination, anyone? I noticed that the cook used the same cooking utensils on all 4 dishes he was making for 4 different people at the same time. What happens if you are allergic to someone in that group’s food(and you didn’t realize that until you took a bite of your own)? Even my pregnant cousin was iffy about that esp since some people’s food in that bunch contained stuff she couldn’t eat. Service: The ladies at the front were helpful in directing us to the banquet room where our group was seated. It went downhill from there. Our poor waitress was overworked as evident on her unhappy face. She was the only one working for a group of around 40−50ppl. This was why waters, drinks, and utensils weren’t provided as quickly as other places who’d normally have at least 2 working a large group. Parking: Shared lot with Superior and other stores. Bottom line: Save your money and go elsewhere. Otherwise, you will leave with a food coma and headache after such an MSG laden meal. Not worth it.

Hands down one of my favorite seafood buffets! I’ve visited Hibachi Super Buffet about three times since they opened a month ago and I’m highly impressed with the attentiveness of the staff in refilling drinks and clearing plates, variety and options of food, the freshness of the food, and of you definitely can’t beat the prices! For those who love seafood come during the weekends for the most options in seafood. Weekday lunch — $ 6.99, weekday dinner — $ 9.99, weekends lunch and dinner — $ 10.99. If you love seafood they have cooked oysters, different types of sushi/sashimi, steamed white fish, grilled salmon, baked scallops, mussels, Alaskan crab legs, salt and pepper crab legs, calamari, crawfish, shrimp, and steamed clams. Customers will load up on the seafood but rest assured they will constantly refill with a fresh batch of seafood. If you don’t care for seafood, for meat lovers they have prime rib, fried chicken, roast duck, orange chicken, filet in pepper sauce, chicken and beef skewers, bbq pork ribs, and if this doesn’t impress you they have a Teppanyaki grill where you can customize your own plate of food where a chef will cook it in front of you. I highly recommend trying the fried udon with steak. They also have a salad, fruit, and dessert station. Although I was not impressed with the desserts. Most of the desserts consists of cakes and cream puffs that didn’t taste very good. I usually stick with the frozen yogurt machine and a couple slices of fresh fruit to end my meal. Its common knowledge that these types of buffets usually loose its appeal in quality over time. I hope this won’t be the case for Hibachi Super Buffet because its quickly worked into the heart of my family and we love that there’s such an affordable option for seafood so close by. Tip* The Teppanyaki grill is very popular and I waited in line for 20+ minutes for my food. I suggest you fill up your plate and leave it at the counter and check back within 10 minutes to see if the chef has cooked your plate and fill up on the pre-made food while you wait.

Jackson Y recommended this buffet so group of hardcore Unilocaler decided to dine here, and all of us agree that this is definite bang for the bucks. Quality is slight above for buffet in general, but the price is probably the lowest that had snow crab leg, crawfish or oyster. The price is similar to Golden Corral or Home Town Buffet, but you are getting so much more variety of food here. Their seafood is their main strength, most of the items I try were good or not bad. Their teppanyaki were great, lots of different meats and veggies. Don’t forgot to add those garlic paste. They got both salmon and snapper sashimi which is better than some other buffet I been too, their sushi roll I would skip, it doesn’t use good quality sushi rice but most Chinese owned buffet are like that. Their dessert was mix bag, but the fruit were fresh. Overall, I do like this place. I not a fan of buffet in general but if you craving for seafood and don’t want to paid arm and leg when craving for seafood.
