i am addicted to this chicken! not a big fan of the potato salad but the beans, and chicken are on point. my kids love the hard shelled chicken tacos and the chicken burrito (which is huge).

Had to stop going here. Too many screw ups in the back with my order. The people in the front get it right but the folks in the back have no clue. The management has no interest in making it right. Too bad. Decent food but bad service.

Maybe it was just an off day, but a Friday afternoon. The chicken was as dry as a desert and the rice was hard as if it had been sitting out for hours. The potato salad and tortillas were good. My first and last visit here.

We were in line to order and we saw a lady open her box of food with a roach in it!!!
It was gross!!! We saw it. She showed the cashier who didn’t even act surpised!!? She didn’t do anything to help the lady and proceeded to take the next person’s order!!! The lady was appalled and did not ask for her $ back. She gave the box back and left.
Of course we left.
Juan Pollo used to be one of my favorite places to eat and I will never ever go back in there!!!
This was in the Covina plaza, on Covina Blvd. GROSS!!!

Picked up an order of lunch special for me and my wife when she brought it home she found a cockroach she returned it and employees acted as if nothing the chicken was very delicious at one time but not worth eating there again with the free side orders they give cockroaches are not on my list of appetizers will never eat at that location again

Great chicken wonderful product do a crap job of putting together preorders. Ordered a party pack week in advance for specific pickup. Arrived and waited half hour for them to put together. Is a reason you order in advance for specific pick up time. Fail.

This Juan Pollo suffers from the same problem many others have… Terrible customer service, and the place is just dirty. I have a hard time believing they pass ANY health inspection. The décor must have been something in the early 80’s. And I think around 1983 is when they last gave it a thorough cleaning.
Yet here I am, savoring my chicken. It really is good. So tender. Potato salad and rice as good as always. Just hire a cleaning crew please!

BEST chicken ever. It slaps El Pollo Loco in the ass. Best side portions too: potato salad, rice and beans. Love this ghetto joint. I don’t care about décor as long as it’s clean.

Horrible service. Walked in an hour before close and watched as all four employees sat at a table eating (apparently what was left of the food). Ordered two taco platters and the rude cashier said «we don’t have any chicken but I’ll split the little handful of what I have into two orders but still charge for both». Two other customers walked in and were denied service, all the while the workers plates were full and looked upon the customers as a nuisance. Normally it’s a cool place, but that was unacceptable. I can see if it was really close to close, but an hour before isn’t how that should have been handled. You could see chicken in the ovens.

Didn’t know what to eat for dinner, but I knew that I need to eat something; so I asked the boyfriend what is good. He suggested a few spots, but what stood out was this place: Juan Pollo! He says that he believes this place is better than El Pollo Loco. So, gotta go! Once I arrived to the place, I saw the special sign that says: Two chickens for $ 14.99. I wanted the quarter chicken meal, but since everyone today was getting their Tuesday and Wednesday special (today is Tuesday) I decided to change my mind, last minute [of course] and order their SPECIAL. Total came out to be $ 16.34. I don’t know what I’ve done to order two whole chickens for my sister and I. It better be amazing!
Guess what, I ordered way too much, but it was pretty damn amazing. Healthy (since its chicken) and filling with their tortillas and salsa. No extra unnecessary carbs.

The rotisserie chicken here is really, really good — I can’t deny how good the chicken is, but I’m assuming that’s got something to do with the stock recipe from all of the stores. So, I’m giving them a plus up for their consistency, of course. The rest of the food is hit or miss, depending on the day you come in, I guess. Luck plays a factor.
However, as for everything else? You can read through how terrible the service is. So, if you’re craving this chicken, prepare to wait for a lot longer than needed. But surprisingly enough, the chicken really makes up for the wait though!

Place is great. Not going to lie, the photo of the roach is a little off putting. Hope that is some sort of joke. Believe this place has an A rating from the health department. Cheap great chicken. Service is ok. Highly recommend the potato salad or a chicken bowl.

Whenever work orders from Juan Pollo (In San Bernardino) I really like it.
I stopped by here to pick up a potato salad to take to a BBQ. The lady said it was $ 5 and some change. I handed over my credit card.
Today I check that credit card statement, and my card was charted $ 11.98.
Most expensive potato salad ever.
Not going back after they ripped me off.

this place is so yummy! seriously how can you complain. if your dieting, just the chicken alone is delicious and you dont feel deprived of food. but on cheat day, the potato salad and beans are to die for. I cant help but think of Breaking Bad when i come here «los pollos hermanos». Cheers to yumminess!
As for the gross pics posted with the roaches, gross, I wont order their beans. maybe i will for extra protien LOL!!!

This review is simply for take-​out. Yesterday I went with my boyfriend to this place to pick up a whole lot of food for a family party. We walked in & it was paaaacked. I’ve never been here before so I was pretty excited to taste the food since my boyfriend is always talking about it.
We had about 2 boxes & 1 bag worth of food to carry out. The chicken is so good. The tortilla was fluffy & soft. The rice was okay, nothing special about it. The potato salad was bomb. I usually don’t eat beans but I had some & they were decent.
I’d definitely come back.
