The food is good. The ladies that work the counter don’t seem to be very happy. Good luck getting a thank you out of them. Be careful when you order to go. Check your order yourself. Several times I did not receive what I ordered. Been going here for years and the family likes the food. It’s the customer service that needs a lot of work. Plenty of other choices for take out Mexican food. Time to start looking for a place that appreciates your business.

Since this place moved from my hometown of MPK, I have craved their famous Loco Burrito. Was my go to place for cheap food back in the 80’s. Friend found this place and brought me back a ‘Loco’ and I was lost in nostalgia. The chili relleno inside the burrito is such a bonus with the carne surrounding it. I went to this place about three times after I found it again trying to find my boyhood memories of the Bean n Cheese burrito, chili fries, cheese burgers… In fact I went here after a dinner with my wife nearby. I said, no way am I coming out this way and not stopping to get something to eat!

I love this place, I remember my dad first taking me here as a little kid when this place was a small building in a dirt lot. Many things have changed since then, but one thing hasn’t changed: the great food. This place even has some of the best salsa I have ever had, the red and green salsa is simply amazing. 5 stars!

I’m a sucker for this place. I LOVE this little Mexican fast food joint. Sure it’s greasy and fattening, but in a freshly made comforting way.
By far my favorite are the hard shell beef tacos. They hit the spot every time. And I love to pair it with the green salsa from the salsa bar. They stuff those taco to the edge with lettuce and cheese and they don’t skimp on the meat either. I’m never disappointed.
Also, although it seems like a weird combo, the pastrami quesadilla is surprisingly really great. It’s probably the messiest item ever and it’s a wise decision to eat it with a fork and knife but it’s better than any fatty fair food. This is the real stuff.
5 stars for being amazing! Sure I can’t compare this place to maybe a sit down restaurant — that’s a whole different type of Mexican food! For it’s food category «fast food Mexican,» it’s by far the best place I’ve been to.

The food here is really good and cooked a little different than in most mexican places. I love going there when there is live music. You trully feel that everyone is nice in there. This is probably one of the only restaurants that actually asks u for your id when paying (i love this) ask for the enchiladas!

OK So last night was my first time going on to this place. so me and my friend ordered the Loco burrito I give the cashier (an older lady who u can barely understand what she is saying) almost like muttering her words anyways so I hand her my debit card sign the receipt then a roach yes a ROACH goes crawling thru the countertop. the lady got red in the face and I was disgusted of the sight of the roach. I had already paid. I wanted my money back I regret not complaining. But guess what I won’t be eating there again ever and honestly $ 18 for two burritos and a med beverage was not worth it and honestly not as good either. So disappointed. Will continue to go to Albertos right across the street on azusa ave for my burrito fix.

This place has the best hard shell tacos. Whenever I’m in the area, I just have to stop by. Try the French fries, they’re great as well. They seem to be real hand cut potatoes!

This place never has never dissapointed me! Been coming for years only had one bad experience a few months back when I was at car show the night had ended I’d figure I’ll get food here since it’s good and I won’t have to stop anywhere else right ?? I ordered Taquitos a drink the girl who was taking my order asked for my ID with my ATM card I had it but back in the car let me add my under was under 10 bucks… she didn’t budge and was very rude about it. Thankfully I knew someone inside that was going to order so they paid for me. I GET THE WHOLE rules thing butttttt seriously try n put a smile n go about the situation a bit better rather then yuck face n looked very unhappy she wanted to there. Fyi. We even asked for Manny the owner to let him know it’ll b very sad if my u uncle stops having events n Manny loses business over a grumpy worker!!! Today In for some take out it was hot n fresh when I walked in the cashier was very kind… n food was delicious! !!!

I always get the special quesadilla and the shredded beef nachos. I haven’t had any quesadilla or nachos that were better. And I usually drench everything in their red salsa and the taco sauce. The special quesadilla has cheese, pastrami, green chili, tomatoes, avocado sauce, and that’s all i can remember at the top of my head. I’m probably gonna head over there now since I can’t stop thinking about it.

Manny’s is awesome. It’s such a strange restaurant with all the donation jars and the karaōke.
Best part hands down though is when you call in an order to pick up, they ask you when you would like to come get it. This is done so the food is made fresh!

It saddens me to only give 3 stars. My family and I have been coming here for over 20 years and sadly the place is slowly going downhill. It smells just awful inside, and on a hot summer day (with no ac) its even worse. So we ate outside in 80 degrees because at least it didnt smell like a bathroom. I ordered the loco bowl (just beans, rice and chicken) and they used dark meat so it was a lot of fat and ligament. I guess dark is cheaper. It took close to 25 minutes to get our food and it wasn’t even crowded. The salsa bar is always messy. I’ll gladly give 4 or 5 stars one you clean up your act Manny!

I love this place. One of the few things I missed when I lived on Orange County. The staff is always so nice and the food is amazing. The Loco nachos, Chile Rellano burrito and the potato tacos are a must! Oh! Also, there soda is perfectly calibrated and the cherry coke is the best! It’s family owned and operated and I see the same faces working there that I saw on my first visit (2004.)

The fries are to die for! And the onions that are floating in a sea of green sauce! I seriously only come here for those 2 items. This restaurant has been around forever. Manny is the super nice owner.
Lately, they’ve been getting cheaper, smaller cups for sauces and downsizing their fries even with their increasing prices. Even though I love the fries, my wallet will not be able to afford it.
