Acupuncture Center

I went to the Acupuncture Center for my very first consult for acupuncture ever. My first impression was a peaceful and clean waiting area, the wait was, well there was NO wait really. Ed was awesome attentive and patient while I rambled on with my «issues». He spent a great deal of time evaluating my painful ankle, and explaining my treatment plan as well as the payment and insurance process. My treatments were awesome, provided relief and my time during treatment gave me some much appreciated «napping» time during the day! I meet Shirley and see was as friendly and concerned for my health as Ed. I refer them without hesitation. Not sure about the scathing review. I mean you have to pay for your groceries at the store right?

Got another treatment session yesterday, still very happy with my session today. However I feel compelled to write another review after seeing a scathing review from Tiffany.
I too, work in a service industry and understand people have an obsession with ranting when things don’t go their way. When I say Edward and Shirley are detailed, that includes detailed when it comes to finances. After their thorough explanation, I walked out a clear understanding of EVERYTHING. If Tiffany feels she was duped, either she was not listening or she didn’t want to pay.

Let me begin by stating that I have never left a negative review for a business or provider but feel that the experience that I had with this clinic warrants a big RED FLAG to anyone seeking acupuncture treatment. After the first appointment my condition worsened and to add insult to injury I recently discovered that my insurance never received a claim for the appointment. I ended up having to pay out of pocket and I am currently in the process of receiving reimbursement from my insurance company. Money was the number one priority/​concern when I was interacting with this provider, not my health or well being. While I was scared and experiencing increased pain after my initial treatment all that they could talk about when I called them to notify them of my worsening injury was payment and insurance coverage (even though I had already paid them in full out of pocket).
lastly, I have seen multiple acupuncturists and never received treatment such as this which includes lack of compassion and an inability to follow up or remedy this situation. I hope this review aids you in making sound choices for your health and well being. Blessings.

I went in for an initial consultation. The doctor was very warm and professional. He definitely made things less stressful for a first timer. They take care of all the insurance coverage research and will not perform anything above your coverage unless you ask for it. A very positive experience!
