Favorite Thai place we’ve found found since moving to the area. Fair prices and tasty phad see ew. Only ever gotten it to-go, so I’m not sure about the dine-in experience.

The green curry is my fav that I’ve had here. The egg rolls are bomb, and the pad Thai is good too. Overall yummy food, and nice owner. She’s Thai, not Vietnamese so you’re getting authentic Thai flavors.

My last review was in 2011 so I thought I would update it — still the best Thai food around. Premium service, delicious taste and just all-around excellence.

Our favorite Thai place in the area. Very fresh, lots of vegetables, and the seasoning is always perfect. We usually get pad kee mao, chicken satay, red curry, spicy beef salad, and the benjarong fried rice. The mango sticky rice is delicious too!

This is our go to Thai place in Covington when we’re getting the craving for some Phad Thai. Good food, nice service, clean space. Can get busy on the weekends.

Stopped here for dinner on a weeknight, so we had the place more or less to ourselves. The service was good– prompt, if not really attentive, but nothing to complain about. The food was hot and fresh, flavorful and exactly what we ordered. I’m pretty easy to please when it comes to Thai, so I wasn’t surprised that this place is good. As with most Thai places, their spice scale is «white person spice», so if you like things hot you may want to go a star above what you usually get.

We ordered our food. 3 other tables were seated after us and they all got their food before we did. And when she brought out our food she only had one dish. She told me mine was almost done. My boyfriend finished his plate and then they brought my food out. There was no taste to the Phad Thai at all. Very blah. Wasn’t impressed and won’t be going back.

Not sure why this restaurant has a lowish rating, their Thai is very good. I always have the green curry chicken and they have a nice spice tray. My wife has the cashew chicken. Both always come out great and the sauces are very flavorful. Service is always good although it is more formal than friendly.

If you are looking for a decent Thai restaurant in Covington this would probably be your best bet. I am speaking for the Pad-see-ew that I ordered, it was pretty decent and flavorful with soy aroma.

Very friendly people, good food and great service. Would highly recommend! The only downfall to this place is that they have canned sodas, no drinks on tap. That would definitely sweeten the deal if they changed that!

Okay, if you want Thai but don’t want to drive far for it. I got the veggie phad thai and it had just about every vegetable in the garden in it. The portion was big and wasn’t to expensive. The only thing that happened that was really rude was when we were eating, the waitress goes to the table behind us and asks if they want there food boxed. They say yes and she brings the food to the back where she boxes it and bags it for them. When she comes back she then gives both of them hugs and says she wishes to see them soon. Five min. later I asked for our food to be boxed and she returns, handing us boxes to box ourselves… I don’t mind boxing something myself, but when you box someones food right in front of me and then just hand me boxes, I kinda do. That was so rude! I was honestly shocked… Just another place where the favorite the regulars.

Overall, a very nice experience. This was our first time coming here. The space is nicely decorated and clean. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Neither of us are very familiar with Thai food, but the waitress answered our questions and made recommendations based on our likes. We ordered the Chicken Satay for an app. The chicken was well seasoned and yummy. Their peanut sauce it came with was delicious! My wife really loved the cucumber salad and it’s dressing. I tried the Kow Pad Pineapple Fried Rice with Prawns. Since neither my wife or I are fans of hot food, we ordered it not spicy. Overall the dish had a good flavor though I’d probably order a 1 for spice next time to step up the flavor a bit. The prawns were tail on, but well seasoned and cooked. I found the rice a bit mushy, but the veggies were all bright, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. We also ordered the Pad Gratium Prik Thai with chicken. The dish was mild with a very nice flavor. Again, all of the veggies in the dish were bright and fresh. We’ll definitely be coming back here to explore more of the menu and try more of the dishes. The food service was amazingly fast and we found a number of other items on the menu that we look forward to trying in the future.

This place was nothing special. Overall the food was priced reasonably and tasted ok. It was by no means the best Thai I have eaten recently and when we ordered to go, the restaurant was empty, completely empty, save the cashier, who could not quite communicate with me efficiently enough for me to say that the service was good. We ordered three dishes, Tofu Pad Thai, and then a peanut chicken dish and a cashew chicken dish. The noodles were over cooked on both the Pad Thai and the peanut dish, so much so, that they were a giant gelatinous blob by the time we got the food home and tried to serve it. Would not eat there again, not worth the hassle for such mediocre fair.

Let me start off with the good things about this place. Bright and clean and prices are reasonable. Now the rest. Our waitress didn’t seem too excited about waiting on us even though we were the only people there. She gave us water and took our orders. Got our food and dropped it off then disappeared only to return to give us our checks. Never stopped back to see how we liked our meals. My friend got Tofu Phad Thai… medium stars and boring taste. Nothing to write home about or to order again. She ordered it medium spicy and it was So so. I ordered chicken with peanut sauce on spinach. First of all, they charge you for rice no matter what dish you order… curry or whatever. Other places have that as part of the meal. It’s like ordering a cheeseburger and you have to pay extra for the buns. My chicken was bland and tough. No taste as well and the peanut sauce was very runny and not much. It had seeped under the spinach and none on the chicken. It was very watery, more like water with a hint of peanut sauce. I couldn’t eat it as the meat was overcooked, tasteless and touch. Huge spinach leaves with huge stems that looked like out of a bag. Not many though I asked the waitress and found out they boil the chicken then serve it. I asked the waitress and she said they cook the chicken by boiling and put it on top of spinach then add a few tablespoons of peanut sauce which mixes with the chicken water to be the thin, runny mess. No wonder the chicken is tough, tasteless and overcooked. You do not boil chicken to a tough tasteless mess, then toss it on spinach with some sauce and expect it to be decent. Wonder how long the chicken sat in the pot of hot water? I had my friend take a taste test and she was just as appalled. The other places sauté the chicken and are generous with the peanut sauce. We packed our meals and the waitress gave us extra peanut sauce once I pointed out my meal hardly had none. Too bad she never checked back when we were eating to see how the food was and had a didn’t care attitude when we told her about the subpar meal. I looked at the menu and it said sautéed chicken but not boiled. Had it said boiled I would have passed. Makes me wonder what other meats are boiled in hot water and not sautéed ? Recommend to pass as they had no customer service and poor cooking skills. Save your money and go to other places that care and can cook chicken without boiling it into a tough, tasteless meal.

I have really big Pad Thai cravings almost every time i’m hungry. So I decided to check this place out since it was close to where I work haha. When my boyfriend and I walked in, we weren’t sure if we were supposed to wait to be seated because there was like one lady working during the night??? After we sat in the front waiting chairs for aprox 5 min, a family walked in and of course she seated them first… We got seated, she handed us our menus and left us for 15 mins running around trying to serve everyone by herself. But I got a chance to look at the restaurant very well, it looked really fancy. I liked how the set up was. I got the beef Pad Thai with the spicy ratting of 2⁄4 stars. But I asked for more chili flakes because I couldn’t really taste the spicy-ness. My boyfriend and I got the same meal and we both enjoyed it! It was so good. I just hope they have more servers work during the night next time. That’s the reason why I gave this place a 3⁄5.

Love this place, food is always delicious. I will say sometimes some of the waitresses aren’t very good and sometimes rude. Food is usually quick though. Whenever I do a to go order, its always quick and still hot when I pick it up.

Sometimes good food can’t make up for bad service. I went for lunch and had a pretty good combo of Pad Gratium Prik — stir fried beef with fresh garlic and black pepper; served on bed of cabbage, broccoli and carrots; along with rice and pad thai. Surprisingly, I got a can of Coke instead of a fountain drink. A little disappointing at a sit-down establishment. The real kicker was that the server was completely underwhelmed by her job. No «Hello», «Thank you» or «How is your meal?» the entire time I was there. She was very attentive to the TV playing CNN though. Apparently I interrupted her day. I won’t be going back. I’ll drive a little further to better Thai places.

My mother and I went here on a Saturday night for dinner around 7pm. Upon arrival, we took one of the last available tables. We ordered Tom Yum soup, crispy garlic chicken, and pad thai. The pad thai was delicious and so was the soup. The chicken on the other hand, was salty, not crispy, and tasted primarily of fish sauce. I was so offput by the flavor I cod only take a few bites. I then ordered pad se ew which was much better, however very salty. I love the ambiance of the restaurant, the staff, and some select dishes. I advise everyone to stick to the pad thai, as they do it well.

Saturday 8÷2÷2014 I came in during lunch hour, was the only one, this place is dead as a door knob! The server did not greet. She just handed me the menu and pour my water, quite odd. She came back, took my order and was a little bit more chatty. I hope she doesn’t mess up my order, otherwise I will be a sad panda =( Hmmmm…it’s a Saturday afternoon and no one is coming. I’m starting to wonder if this is a good Thai restaurant. Kind of scared… lol My order is taking foreverrrr!!! Hmmm… if all fails, I guess there’s always Coldstone right next door, ice cream is always good for lunch, right? So my order got messed up. I ordered chicken tom yum with thick rice noodle(2stars). What came out was the thin rice noodle…5 stars! I was nice enough to not say anything, just so they won’t spit in my food the next time I come back. Cuz their food is pretty good =) just very spicy!!! ~~~~Edit~~~~~ Sunday 8÷3÷2014 Ok, so I came back to this place again during lunch time, with my husband. Just to grab a quick lunch, the lady server from yesterday came and scolded me, right in front of my husband. All because I wrote a bad review yesterday that they messed up my order. That right there is bad customer service. We immediately got up and left the restaurant. Again, it was dead as a door knob. I should’ve listened to what other Unilocalers said on here about their horrible service before making an attempt to even come back the second time around. If I can give a 0 star for this place, I would. But their lucky to even have 1 star at this point. PS: I know you’re(lady server) reading this. If you are the owner, your customer service skill sucks! If you are just a server, your manager need to train you a bit more on treating your customers right, to ensure excellent customer care.
