Cold Stone Creamery

I had the absolute worst customer service experience of my life at this cold stone today! The so called manager, as he claimed to be, did not greet my mom and I upon arrival, was snapping and being condescending to my mom who wasn’t sure on how to order her ice cream. I spoke up and said he needs to stop being rude to my mother. He proceeded to yell at me, act aggressively by throwing his arms up and throwing down the waffle xone and threaten to call the police on me after I asked to speak to the manager or owner for how ridiculous he was treating me! Not to mention I am 9 months pregnant and in no way threatening!
I did luckily talk to the owner who was extremely nice and apologetic and offered to send my mom a gift card since it was her birthday after all.
If this «manager» is not fired, I will never visit this establishment again!

Covington, WA: older shop.
A line halfway out to the door and just one staff man. The one staff gentleman taking care of customers was steady and careful. Two families were ahead of me. When someone left a tip, Solo Staff Man sang his heart out in appreciation. I was entertained while awaiting my turn.
My choice today was half a scoop each of chocolate and strawberry ice cream. I hesitated when asked if I wanted my roasted almonds mixed in because I had ordered just a small size, the «Like It», and didnt want the scoops of chocolate and strawberry ice cream mixed together. Solo Staff Man was so gracious! He carefully mixed in the almond pieces in each of my two flavors! Then packed them into the cup side by side.
It waso strange to walk into this store and feel as if it was minimally maintained. Strange feeling when I hadn’t even looked around the shop. That was my gut feeling. Then I saw the cattywampus cover plate on the base of the freezer case and the missing section of tile in the kickboard trim. It looked like they were works in progress in being repaired.
The floor was clean and the mix in freezer slab could use a thorough scraping. One outside table. Solo Staff Man was gracious and so accommodating. A solid 4 stars for service (no greeting upon entry) but 3 stars for condition of premises.

I highly recommend getting a birthday cake from here. Ice cream cake for a birthday cake was a hit with the whole family! Chocolate fudge type of a frosting with chocolate chip chunks in the cake. I’ve not had any cake better than this!

I love Cold Stone but they are sooooo chincey on their add-​ons it’s infuriating. I had to say more berries 3 times when buying s «gotta have it.» For $ 8.00 it should be full of berries. Also, mix them into the ice cream, don’t just push them into the outside so that ¼″ into the ice cream there is no more berries. If you are going to be the Cadillac of ice cream then provide someone their money’s worth.

The waits are too long, even when there is only one person in front of you. Shakes and ice cream too expensive. Plus not always open during their posted hours. The ice cream and shakes are tastey though and they have good variety so that gets them two stars.

Very friendly and accommodating staff. I tried the Coffee Lovers this time and I think I found a new favorite! YUM!

It doesn’t get any better then this place. The Ice Cream is tops. Their Birthday cakes are even better! And the young ladies that work here seem to always be pleasant and cheery. Tip them and you get a little ditty!

I wish I could give them a minus 20 for all my wasted time and money BAD.BAD.BAD I WENT ON JAN 21 FOR A BROWNIE SUNDAY .the girl gave it to me with no whip no nuts NO FUDGE one small brownie. there was a picture above… it is supposed to have several brownies and whip and nuts when i ask her about it she laugh she was more interested in the guy in back then the customer then she make my daughters wrong to. I call to complain I only complain since this was our third problem there… and ««» TINA ««» the owner or manger of the covington store and Kent store said call me next time you want to come in and you can have 2 FREE item WHY NOT JUST SEND ME COUPONS ?? what a LIAR after a week of calling her cell and both store no response until the 5 day all My calls and she says oh I was out of town? she is as bad as her workers, they also seem to think it is OK to have the boyfriends behind the counter or in back and goof around and did not care about the customers at all I will not waste my time or money again .
I LEFT MESSAGE FOR TINA AT BOTH HER STORE KENT AND COVINGTON STORE AND AT LEAST THE KENT STORE PICK UP THE PHONE ONCE THE SECOND TIME THE ANSWER MACHINE CAME ON THE COVINGTON STORE BOTH TIMES NEVER PICK UP THE PHONE WONDER WHY ???

Cold Stone. The add-​your-​own toppings bar before Yogurtland and Menchie’s made their way into our hearts.
It’s not cheap, but it’s very rich. And filling. I’m speaking from experience because right now I have a food baby. And he’s a big’un.
The gal at the counter made my night because I wanted my brownie sundae and Love It to go… so she bagged everything separate that needed to be separated. Nobody’s ever offered to do that before… so tonight is the first night that my bf hasn’t had to have melted ice cream with dissolved whipped cream.
I’ll be back when in need of some filling dessert. But I shouldn’t have tonight. Oh boyyy should I not have.

Great cake batter ice cream

I usually come here when I need my chocolate fix. It is located in a beautiful shopping center next to a wonderful Thai place. Thai then ice cream! Everyone is so nice. If you want to sample any ice cream just ask, they have no problem doing so.
The choices are endless, anything you love they have. I tend to stick to my favorite I made up and you should go and make your signature ice cream fave!
Super clean, front row parking, and fast service. They have seating inside as well. Give them a tip and watch them go crazy! lol
