Discovered Campbell’s on the first day of school, as we are new to the area. Told the owner what I usually order at Stbx and was looking for something cold. She suggested the frozen crème brûlée, and I became hooked! The people are so friendly and know you by name when you come back(or maybe i go too frequently)! Have cash, as they only do $ 10 card transactions, BUT you can start an account(which I have added to several times) and that makes for easy return visits!

Amazing coffee every time I’ve been. It’s hands down better than any of those other chains. I’ve never had bad service; they’re always very friendly and get your order out quick, regardless of how busy they are. Only down side is that you have to spend $ 10 to use a credit/debit card. If they have to overcharge you to meet the minimum, they at least give a credit on your account to use for next time.

LOVE the crème brûlée latte! It’s great! Blueberry scone was fresh and yummy. Only downside is you can’t use your card for less than $ 10. So what they do is they charge your card for $ 10 and you have a credit on your account. Of course, they ask you first to make sure that is ok.

I tried their dark roast black and it was delicious. Cool local environment. I highly recommend this to coffee aficionados.

Good coffee. Good tea. Quality people. We will be back. Plus, the muffin tops were good.

I read the other reviews & am glad I ignored & stopped here anyway. Great service albeit a little extra-perky and I had the espresso bread with a fabulous and tasty iced coffee w/almond milk so now I’m just as perky as said service! :)

I have been going here for a few years and must admit that this cozy spot has become my favorite hangout in old Covington. Fresh in house roasted coffee, tasty treats(muffins tops and scones are my favs) and a relaxed atmosphere are what keep me coming back. Drive thru is a plus.

I walked onto the set of a live performance art, Southern interpretation of the hit IFC program Portlandia this morning when visiting Campbell’s Coffee and Tea for the first time. I ordered a hot chocolate and asked if they served bagels, to which the barista sharply informed me that making bagels is «an art form,» that all *their* food is baked fresh and that she wouldn’t serve me some frozen(visible shudder) atrocity. So, no bagels? But seriously, no bagels, no problem. My complaint was with the strangely aggressive tone. A few other ways to answer the question include: «Oh sorry hun! No bagels, but I baked these *insert food* fresh this morning. Would you like to try that?» Or maybe even a jokey«You must be a Yank. We’ve got biscuits here, darling!» And for the record, writing a sonnet is an art form. Composing a score is an art form. Baking bagels(however challenging that may be!) not an art. A little customer service training here would probably go a long way. Edited to add: The hot chocolate was both hot and chocolaty. Thumbs up.

This place has gone downhill. I used to go to this place and get Iced Coffee cuz I worked down the street. After moving away and coming back for a visit, I was not impressed. It took awhile for the kids working there to acknowledge me or get my order(it was not that busy). I ordered an irish cream Iced coffee and it was over $ 4! Prices went up, coffee not as good. And I asked if they had sandwiches,(they used to have delicious paninis), as my husband was very hungry. The girl just pointed to the fridge with something that looked like your mom makes you for a school lunch. Yuck. They must have changed owners or something. They used to have the best coffee on the northshore.

They roast their beans in house which makes for a great, fresh tasting cup of coffee. Cozy atmosphere plus the convenience of a drive through. If you’re a true coffee lover, I highly recommend trying them… you’ll never go back to PJ’s or Starbucks.
