Well i still like their burgers even though it takes a little more time to wait for it than any other fast food. I’ve stopped here about 3 or 4 times now over the period of a year or two. The customer service has always been the worst than anywhere else. I’ve had them rushing me through and even walking away from the window with my credit card. I will be watching my account very closely because this place is getting more and more shady every time I visit. My girlfriend has been a shift supervisor for the fast food industry so I have reasonable standards considering the fact that a Starbucks employee once walked off with a customer’s credit card and copied it. Also maybe word will get around one day that it is much nicer to the customer if you simply ask… Can i get anything else for you? Instead of just spitting the total out at your customer before they are done ordering.

Terrible. They just tried to overcharge me $ 4 for a combo meal. I pointed directly at the advertisement and they didn’t care. If you do order there, make sure you look at the recipt. Personally, I’m never going there again.

When I dine at a fast food restaurant my standards for anything drop a few notches. I don’t eat come here for great service nor do I come here to eat for my health. It’s fast food… no matter what way you spin it — you do indeed get what you pay for. Carl’s Jr — hits the spot for me when I’m having a hankering for junk. It’s by far the best fast food I thoroughly enjoy(yes… better than Dick’s and In and Out). They aren’t overly greasy, nor are they tiny(single) handheld burgers. At Carl’s Jr, you gotta roll your sleeves up and double up the fists and go to town on it. Though it’s far from gourmet, there’s just something about the plumpness of the buns, the crunch of the lettuce, the ooze of the cheese, and the juice of the meat that just puts my inner fat kid at ease… pair it up with a side of crisscut fries and some ranch dipping sauce and I have no complaints. They got some of the best fries I’ve ever had any where. Dare I eat this every day? nawwwww… okay… who am I kidding… if it weren’t 15 minutes away from my house I probably would be tempted… so kind of glad it’s further than close.

Sad. One word sums up this location. Carl’s Jr is known for its $ 6 gourmet burgers, several fry options including zucchini fries, and there’s only 1 within a 2 hour radius of where I live. I came here previously for the burgers which were fresh and had the unique char taste even though it was an hour(or more depending on traffic) away. Tonight was my last visit. I arrived at 9:30 pm on a Saturday night. The lights were off. Not one car in the drive thru. I thought they had closed down. But then as I was driving by, I saw 2 employees wandering around inside. They weren’t working, just standing around. I drove to the drive thru and sat there for 30 seconds before the guy asked if I wanted to try the new burger. He asked in the slowest way imaginable. I said I was about to drive away because they looked closed. He said, and I quote, «No ma’am. The lights aren’t working and we don’t know why.» Since I drove all this way, I ordered a double western and a side of crinkle cut fries. I sat at the payment window for a bit while they talked about a guy complaining about wanting to go home early. After I paid, I waited for my food. I saw a couple cars drive up, stop, then drive off, probably wondering what I was doing at the closed Carl’s. I heard someone yell if the fries had been dropped yet. More time passed. Finally I got my food, without explanation, apology or making up to me the 15 minutes it took to get my food. The burger wasn’t up to the quality I have come to expect from this fast food chain. The cheese tasted weird/odd, the buns were flat, the BBQ sauce tasted old, and the onion rings weren’t fresh. The crinkle fries, cooked just for me, were ok. Not anything good enough to drive this far. Polite but lazy and slow employees in the dark in more ways than one have scratched off this Carl’s. I’ll have to go to a real Carl’s when I go to Portland. Food: 2 Service: 2 Ambiance: 0 Parking: 4 — I could have set up a circus tent since no one was there

I have worked in fast food and I guess i didn’t realize you could just close early when ever you want. Hope your manager reads this btw. Super disappointed in this restaurant epically sense it is one of the only one around.

I stopped in for lunch today and was highly dissapointed. The restroom was a mess and did not have any paper towels. The dinning room wasn’t much different. None of the tables were wiped down and it was as scavenger hunt to find a loaded napkin dispenser. The staff was nice but it looked like no one was in charge. If the front of the house is that unkept it makes me wonder how clean the kitchen is. I will not be back.

I thought I had sworn off Carl’s Jr forever, but after many years, I had a BOGO free coupon for the $ 6 burger and gave it a try… Wow, was pretty dang good! I’m impressed, and enough to even give it them a four star rating. I didn’t think I would ever do that for a fast food restaurant!

Didn’t get what I ordered and had drive thru service. Got home to find jalapeños on my burger, I didn’t order a jalapeño burger. Scraped off jalapeños’ but I really wanted the bacon guacamole I ordered. I won’t know how it tastes cause I got so many other burger choices as far as I’m concerned I won’t give Carl’s Jr my business again. One star for how nice they were, even though my order was way off.

Simply asked for a cheese burger with added bacon. they gave me the burger, charged me for the bacon, and when I came home. No bacon. And no, they were not busy. What a nicely ruined meal.

Food is good… when they get the order right, which is about 75% of the time. I often have to repeat my order 3x at the drive thru, and sometimes it still comes out wrong. I’ve taken to sitting and checking my order before I pull away from the window. Lots of drones working there too. Hey, I know it’s minimum wage, but be glad you have a job.

I stopped today to have a quick burger. My mistake! I ordered a western burger and it was bad, real bad. The burger was charbroiled not recently however. It had the taste of a burger kept in a drawer and warmed in a microwave. The bacon was limp and very under cooked. The BBQ sauce was unlike any I had ever tasted. I mean that in a bad way! If you haven’t guessed by now I won’t be back!!!

I very rarely eat fast food these days. If I do decide to go for a quick greasy gut bomb, Carl’s Jr. is on the short list of places I will hit up. We stopped by this location after a bike ride one day, and felt like rewarding ourselves with something heavy and unhealthy lol. Obviously not nearly as fast as McDonald’s, but still faster than some other places. Great selection, good prices, huge portions. What I notice the most about Carl’s Jr. each and every time, no matter the location… super friendly employees. They smile, they’re friendly, they bring you your food and clean up the tables, and even come around to check on you. Almost makes you forget you’re eating at a national fast food chain. Keep it up Carl’s Jr.!!

I’ve been here several times, usually while shopping at the nearby Costco and it’s definately the best fast food burger place in Covington. I love their $ 6 burgers and the fries are excellent too. I’ve only had a problem once when a sketchy-looking druggie chick was working in drive-thru, but she seems to be gone, thankfully. They cook their burgers to order and the fries are usually fresh, so I’m happy!

After walking 10 miles of the Cedar River Trail we wanted to pick up something quick and substantial on the way home. Carl’s fit the bill! The Western Bacon Six Dollar Burger certainly wasn’t the best burger I’ve ever had but it was pretty damn good for fast food. The meal is a lot of food for about $ 7, and served quickly. Also, fried zucchini is da bomb!

Thought we would try this California chain. The mushroom burger was really good as I remember, but when we saw and employee(an older woman who should have known better) drop a stack of cups on the floor after taking them out of their sleeve and then proceed to place them in the section for serving, we said like the raven, «Never more.» Haven’t been back since. PS. Manager wasn’t concerned, nor the corporation. I contacted both.

I’ve never been a fan of Carl’s Jr. I mean the food is okay. Just like any other Carl’s Jr. Its the cleanest Carl’s Jr to.

I was driving home from the Tulip Festival and was surprised to see a Carl’s Jr. I’ve eaten at Carl’s Jr. in both California and Hawaii and my husband and I have always been grateful that Carl’s Jr. was not in Washington since the burgers we had in CA and HI were soooo good. So, I had to stop by and try one of their burgers to see if it was as excellent as I remember. I ordered the 6 dollar bacon guacamole burger(which was about $ 4.50). It was So. Friggin’. Good. Lots of fresh guac, crispy bacon, plump ripe tomatoes and a juicy patty. Pure burger heaven. For less than $ 5, this burger was better than burgers I’ve had at restaurants that are«known» for their burgers, including Red Robin and the Ram. In my opinion, this is one of the best burgers around, and the next time I need my burger fix, I will be making the long drive to Carl’s Jr.

I returned to this Carl’s Junior to order the same thing my husband always requests(see last post). Instead of going through the drive-through, I went inside. I think the gal who helped me at the register was the same sweet gal that helped us the last time we went through the drive-thru and was so patient with our unusual request. She’s a very friendly, warm hispanic lady that seems to really enjoy and care about customer service – so refreshing! When I mentioned that I live in Kirkland, she mentioned that there’s another Carl’s closer to me in Renton, and offered to give me the phone number. So sweet! I could’ve sworn that she said, «Another Carl’s that I own in Renton,» but I could be wrong. Her service was exceptional though, especially for a fast food restaurant. Still five stars!
