We order food here for take out all the time. Best teriyaki around. They also have very good kung pow here.

One of the best Teriyaki joints I’ve had. The place is clean, the food is awesome and the service is great. 5 stars!

Consistently great teriyaki at a great price. No reason not to give it a try when you’re in the area and looking for a dine-in or take-out lunch/dinner.

Forgot to close my mouth when they brought a giant dish to the table. It wasn’t a lot of food but it looks gigantic. I love the chicken, was really tender. Gyoza was not good but I like the dish overall. The guy who works there was really nice, made us feel welcoming.

Discovered this place 2 years ago. Lunch special for 6 $ or so unbeatable taste and quality. Best teriyaki in Kent, Covington, Auburn area. Only located in covington well worth the drive to eat some of the best tasting teriyaki. And costumer service is A++.

I love this place — it’s my go to & that’s not just because I work next door. I get the combo of chicken breast teriyaki & gyozas! It’s SOO good. Hits the spot every time! I used to go to another teriyaki place but it’s farther away and this is much closer to where I live — bonus, food and serve is great too! Highly recommended.

Food is good. Service is reasonable and friendly. And prices are good. This is my go to teriyaki in Covington/maple valley. Great take out when we have guests in town. Prices range from $ 6.49 for a chicken bowl to $ 11.59 for short ribs.

What you see below is my 1 star review I left at Kami’s Teriyaki down the street. This place is a breathe of fresh air compared to Kami’s I will never go there. Wow wow wow wow. I walked in today for lunch there were a few people eating but none in line, not busy at all. The lady behind the counter was on the phone and it looked like she was taking an order because she had a prn in her hand too. After five minutes of standing there I realize that shes not taking another shes havimg a personal conversation in her native tongue wow. This is the kind of stuff you see in movies. Then she says Hi while still on the phone never pulling the phone away from her face. I looked at her with a dumb look but because today is beautiul I wont let her ignorance or TERRIBLE customer service ruin my day. I turned around and walked right out. I have no idea if their food is good and 2ill never know she doesnt deserve my business. TOOTLES . Update: I was a little upset because I was really craving Teriyaki but I found this shop down the road calle Covington Teriyaki and the service is FABULOUS. Their building looks updated and sanitary, you can see the cook cooking and he’s not hiding behind a current and best of all their food is amazing. Save yourself a mood change and travel down the street about 3 mins its next to the city of covington building

I came into this place because i saw the good reviews. The cashier was nice and friendly. However, the food itself was disappointing. They put wayy too much rice and very little meat. And the rice was still hard. I do not recommend this place

Love this place for Teriyaki! The food is always good, the service is what you would expect for a busy Teriyaki place. Love their support of the Seahawks!

20 years probably more and still going strong. I left Seattle 12 years ago. I have not found a better teriyaki restaurant in all my travels. They do a great job.

The food is good, rice is a little dry. The service is what brought this rating down. This teriyaki joint came highly recommended, but employee working the front counter was more interested in his phone than actually paying attention. Brought us the wrong order, which he dropped and went right back to his phone behind the register. I went up to counter to tell him this was someone else’s order and then he had to resubmit my husband’s correct order to the kitchen because he did it wrong the first time. Meanwhile, I get my food while my husband is waiting for his. If it was busy, I could see the oversight but there was one other person in the dining area when we arrived. I don’t know if I would come back here, and I would certainly hesitate to get takeout due to the lack of attention to detail.

Friendly service and the Teriyaki was delicious and fresh tasting. I can see why it has good reviews. And the price seems to be cheaper than other places but you get more food. Which is always a plus.

Great teriyaki place. I’m not just saying this because of the cute guy behind the counter, but the food is great. I love their brown rice with chicken teriyaki. The sause is perfect sweet and I also get and extra sause to go I believe they sell it there for .25 ¢ but the guy always gives it to me for free. I also have tried fried rice and I love that they offer a brown rice. The chow mein was great too. No complains. The portions are huge and they also offer smaller if you like.

We have been coming here for years and it’s the best teriyaki in town. It’s consistent and good quality. You always get greeted when you walk in the door by the friendly young man behind the counter. The plate presentation is always nice and the prices are reasonable. Nothing fancy but we like it that way.

My wife an I went here for the first time last weekend and we were pleased. The dining area was clean and well kept. The staff was very friendly and happy to answer our questions. My wife ordered the teriyaki combo and enjoyed it very much. I ordered the special fried rice. The portion size was very generous(more than I could finish). It was a bit dry and under-seasoned, but better than many other places that I have tried. Overall: Great service, good food, reasonable prices. We’ll be going back. :)

Great food at a great price. I had their lunch special and it provided enough to get me filled up. Very clean establishment and the cashier was very courteous. Definitely would come back here again.

Was looking for a place to eat in an unfamiliar town and Unilocal led us here. Friendly and clean atmosphere. We ordered the spicy chicken and chicken Katsu. Both we’re flavorful. My only feedback is I wish the chicken Katsu wasn’t so thin. I will visit again to try other items in the menu.
