I’ve been to this location before but it’s not my favorite. But I do like first watch and their menu is always super healthy. I love the fact that you can substitute egg whites and not get charged extra. Appreciate the bottomless coffee but I’ve noticed this location is a little bit slower than the one downtown.

I have been to many First Watch Restaurants and this location is by far the best! The cinnamon chip pancake is superior to all the others. The Staff is friendly and inviting. We will keep coming back!

I’m not a huge fan of the food here, but their customer service is great! I placed a very large and complicated order over the phone and the woman I spoke with was very patient and pleasant. Keep up the great work!

This location was a major disappointment. The atmosphere was uninviting, service was painfully slow, and the food left much to be desired. Paul ordered pumpkin pancakes, and they were served raw. He rarely sends food back, but this time he did. The second attempt was as bad as the first. My omelet was acceptable, but not good. Serving fruit with large chunks of unripe honeydew? Not okay. If you ever go into a First Watch during lunch hour and find it largely uninhabited, take this as a fair warning and go elsewhere!

Wow. What a great breakfast. There were four adults including myself and a seven year old and we were seated immediately. The food was excellent. My husband got the pumpkin pancakes which we split along with the chickiechanga. I just wanted to order that cause I like saying it. LOL The portion size was perfect. Not too overwhelming and yummy. Dennis was our waiter and he made our day. So sweet and helpful. He recommended some great things to do and see with our niece and we took his advice and fun was had by all. Thanks First Watch for a great experience. Dennis, you’re the best. Thanks again.

Monte Cristo was delicious. Coffee carafe at the table, worth checking out when in NKY.

My favorite breakfast spot. Fiancé and I recently moved to crescent springs, and the first watch pales is comparison to the one in Covington. The wait is three times longer — getting in, and after ordering, and my pancake keeps coming out dry, like it sat on the ready table too long. I think we’ll be making the drive to Covington from here on out; they do it right.

I tried the Eggs Benedict with ham and tomatoes and it was honestly one of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had. It’s too bad I’m not from around here because if I was, I would come here more often. Such friendly service too! Loved it all!

Stopped by at 7:00 for breakfast, one would think that early the and the service would be great. Not so much. Do yourself a favor, drive up the hill to Crestview Hills, the food is better.

Service seemed unorganized and slow. We were told 20 – 30 minutes for our table of six, and ended up waiting 50 minutes. Once we finally got our table, had to wait a few more minutes to get just a simple drink order. The food was ok but nothing spectacular, a little on the bland side.

I’ve been coming here more and more because the boyfriend says these are the best pancakes in town. I have to say, they have improved a lot since my first couple reviews. The food is always amazing and the service is spot on. Even when there is a wait on Sunday mornings, we still come here. It’s a new tradition.

Food was decent but not extraordinary. The banana crunch pancakes were excellent, and by far the best part of the meal. Everything else was mediocre. Except… the coffee. The coffee was utterly foul…

First time making it to First Watch. We had brunch with my husbands parents and our youngest daughter. We were seated immediately and had coffee and water on the table within minutes. I love when I’m able to sip coffee while I read through the menu! The server always made sure we had plenty of drinks throughout the meal and was able to provide us with anything we requested. I love great service!!! My youngest daughter had eggs and bacon off the kids menu. It also comes with fresh cut fruit and toasted sourdough buttered bread. She was a happy kiddo! Such a large portion of food for a little one. My husband had the tri fecta with blueberry pancakes. The blueberry compote they serve with the pancakes is super yummy. But the portion is so small compared to the giant plate pancake. Get ready to ask for more or some syrup. Which the staff is happy to help with. I had the tradition breakfast. Two eggs, choice of meat(turkey sausage links), seasoned potatoes and English muffin. The food was good. We went rather simple with our choices so hard to screw up! Ha ha. Overall we enjoyed our meal and the service was great.

At first, I thought I would not like the food, but after a little searching and some help from the server, my breakfast was the most memorable meal of the day. I had eggs, bacon, potatoes, and French Toast! The French Toast was the best I have ever tasted! you husband had the multi-grain pancakes and had a hard time eating three! We both loved the coffee. Our boys even enjoyed breakfast… kids meals are mighty!

Came here for breakfast nearly every day that I was in the area on business. I didn’t expect to, mind you. But my first experience was so good that I decided to make a habit of this place. Well-prepared food. Innovative ingredient combinations. I liked the deliberate attention to providing healthy options for people, without gorging them on the prices. Sometimes, the service suffered(in one visit, my water wasn’t re-visited at any point between dropping off the food, and dropping off the check).

I was glad they had no issue serving color dusted Color Run participants like myself. The service is good, fast and friendly but the food is kinda bland. It will do the job but there are so many other places with better breakfast options. So, for those times when you quickly need some eggs, pancakes, or something breakfasty you’ll be fine but will probably wish you went elsewhere. *Duh tip: Smaller groups will be seated much faster than larger ones, consider splitting your group if you are in a hurry. *There was WiFi, but I had no luck in connecting…

I’ve been to First Watch 3 times now and my experiences have been ranging from an OK to a ‘Yay, I’m a fan!’ feeling. The plus of this place is that you can get breakfast all day. So for that one day where you’re really craving a pancake for lunch, you can come here and it will be normal to order a Tri-fecta(waffel or pancakes + eggs + bacon! That is cool :) The food is good. I usually really prefer pancakes over waffles, but I tried the Belgian waffle and I liked it! I also like the quotes printed on the napkin paper, yesterday it said«I love you more than bacon». It’s a nice personal touch, of which First Watch could use a few more. The minus is that the place just doesn’t look very nice, not a lot of effort has been put into the décor. Also, you feel a bit as if you should eat as quickly as possible, because of the people waiting. And the service has been on and off. Sometimes great and other times rude… Like the last time I had a waiter almost laughing in my face because I didn’t pronounce«syrup» in the right way(ok, I’m not American, but I’m still your customer…). Although I really enjoyed the food, the mediocre service(at times), price(quite expensive for breakfast) and overall décor make me think of this place as just an OK overall.

I took my son here for a «daddy date» a few days ago, during the late-morning. We had a good experience overall. One drawback was the time it took for us to be seated. We waited for a few minutes for the host to seat us, and when he came over, he asked us to wait while he checked out another guest. We were then seated. Hence 4 stars. The food was tasty — a bit pricey for breakfast, but is a large step up from, say, Bob Evans. I ordered the Floridian French toast — the Kiwi fruits were disgusting, but the rest of the fruit was tasty. I just avoided the kiwi. The serving size was generous. Our server was very quick with our order, was attentive to refill my drink. Mostly business meetings at this place, being that it’s in the business district of Covington. Parking is kind of a hassle… plan on walking when you visit this First Watch.
