Mike gave my husband a nice cut and shampoo. I would leave him a 4⁄5. The lady who cut the kids hair lacked attention to detail. Which may be due to having to stop to answer phones and check customers in. Lots of stops and starts so probably harder to find where she left off. Price was good. Salon was clean. Would recommend men and boys cuts over girls. Or go to Mike.

This Great Clips salon was closed a few years ago. I’ve been going to the one across street from it next to Jack in a box. Tracey is the manager. I’ve been serviced by many stylists here and am satisfied every time I walk out of the salon. The salon is clean; the staff is polite and you can’t beat the price. My whole family goes there. Give it a try. I highly recommend it.

This is an okay hair salon with one kick ass hair stylist. Okay, it’s a chain. Usually I would drive by but I needed a cut and I was on the wrong side of town for barbers, so I pulled in here. First, the Mapquest link lies — this piece of Covington has been terraformed by retarded traffic engineers on crack, and the shop location actually is an out parcel on the South side of 272nd Street, over near Dollar Tree, NOT on the North side as the maps show — so drive East down 272nd and hang a Right to get here. You won’t find it over in Valley Medical Center. I walked in and a nice lady greeted me — Tracey — turns out she is the manager of the store. She took my name, looked for me in their computer system, and had me sit down while she finished the cut that she was working on. While I waited I went and inspected the facilities. When I got back it was my turn. I told Tracey what I wanted and she set to work with scissors, clippers, and a comb. We chatted while she worked on my hair, and she was very confident — free styling my sides and back until they were dead even. I was done before I knew it, and the damage was a whopping $ 14, which is what I get at most barbershops. If you’re in the Covington/Maple valley area and you need some coiffing, I recommend that you stop in here.
