Panda Express

Customer service is really lacking at this location. Came in and waited at the front for nearly 10 minutes because the employees (all girls) were in the back just tacking away at one another. Their food is subpar at best. Luke warm, and often doesn’t taste fresh. Sure the price is affordable, but I shouldn’t have to risk my health with food that isn’t fresh and hot. I’ll take my money elsewhere next time.

First time I visited this location and I’m not one to expect «good» customer service anymore who cares I don’t. And I’m too lazy to write reviews and recently made an account, but I had to write this one because I was reminded of how it felt to be around a bunch of friendly people — especially since I work with hostile people daily. I walked in and I was greeted by four workers in a friendly manner. They had my order ready on time — four trays my sister purchased for my niece’s birthday party and then a worker insisted on carrying them for me all the way to my car even though I really could’ve handled it myself. And he even thanked me for this opportunity. Well thank you guys for providing excellent customer service! :) And the orange chicken, yeah some pieces may have been a little more chewy than the others, but overall it was still good.

I went there during lunch there wasn’t any rush so I order chowmein, Orange chicken, Kangpao chicken and black pepper chicken. Everything was tasty and warm except the orange chicken. It was a bit cold and hard.

It’s usually fine enough for a fresher than fast food option but the service has gone down fast. The drive-​thru was closed tonight and easy to see why. They were clearly training at least one person, but they should be training all of their staff to listen to the customers. They got all of the 3 people’s orders ahead of me wrong, multiple times, although it was clear what they were ordering and how many meals. They kept asking for more food, but the one cook seemed stoned. I shouldn’t give them any stars for today, but they’ve been much better in the past. Left the place and called Lucky Star for takeout, less convenient but excellent food and service. Without drive-​thru, no reason to go here.

Food is always good BUT, some of the worst service I’ve ever seen. They need to take the drive out, every time it’s 10 min plus wait and I make it a point to order food that’s already cooked otherwise it’s a 30 experience. And then to be rude through your little drive thru headset on top of it, WOW!
Come on manager, open your eyes.

Excellent food. Inconsistent service. I much prefer the night crew. The 3pm drive-​thru dude loves shoveling out the soy sauce packets even if you say «No soy sauce, thank you.» It’s happened repeatedly. Frustratingly wasteful (he gave me 9 soy sauce packets today). Plus today I ordered a medium Pepsi & the guy suggests I buy a large (only a 20 cent difference), so I agreed, but then hands me out a large Pepsi with no ice in the cup & no straw in the bag??? But there ARE 2 cookies in the bag — Lol!!! — It’s just me in the car ordering 1 rice bowl with Orange Chicken, & a drink

Nothing to be excited about here. Stopped in last Saturday for a bite, was a mistake. Food was not even up to Panda Express standards. Everything tasted old, looked old, and was fairly cold. Didn’t even finish my meal. Would have spoke to the manager about this but he was busy flirting with the girls working behind the counter. I have had better food from Safeway Deli. Will not be back.

It’s ok. They need to make less and more often. Orange chicken should not be mushy. Most of it is not good. If I’m in a rush that’s where I go because it’s fast not good. Sucks because I love panda.

Worst Panda Express I’ve been to…
Waited 10 min to just order my food, then I got charged with someone else’s meal and gave me a whole different order, and when I got my actual order (20 min later) they still messed it up.
Ordered a doc pepper it was taste less 80% water 20% flavor.
This is not the first nor the second time something like this happened here!

Great customer service. Very long drive thru wait times. Often out of entrees and the staff have to make more.

Omg. 30 min in drive thru. The server name Cody, not train to service a drive thru property. You get the first car (customer) orders first and GIVE it to them. Not prepare for all three car and make the first car wait. Never go there again!

My go-​to lunch spot when I’m working. The menu is limited. Yet, the foods are always consistent and fresh.
I love it how they always offer a sample every time I walk into the restaurant.
Also, this location has a drive thru, very convenient! But the line can get backed up if you go there around lunch time.

I’ve never seen a Panda Express so disorganized. No clean trays, no cup covers, and most of the selections were either almost gone or completely gone. The server behind the counter kept rushing the cook to make more entrees who seemed very slow. And it wasn’t even busy!

Well. When we arrived they were out of almost everything. When we went to order we were expected to order what they had left NOT what we wanted. You would think when something is almost out, to replace it. However my son ordered whatever they had left. I waited to see if they would have what I wanted. Several people arrived to order and as they were forced to eat the remains of the bottom of the dish and over charged because the staff was trying to make three noodles last through 4 people. I had enough. I think 1 star is too generous.

Panda Express in Covington made my family sick…

My wife decided to get some Panda Express the afternoon of 5÷24÷2015. We ordered the Shanghai Beef for us, orange chicken for the kids, plus got the rice and cookies. Meal went down alright. Rice was borderline hard and not soft at all. Meat dishes tasted ok. Overly sweet. Cookies were very stale. I chalked it up to not having been to Panda Express in 2 years and forgetting what their food was like. I had already decided to not go again based on that.
But it got worse from there…
About 6pm my wife began getting sick. She made many trips to the bathroom to vomit then went to go lay down. I began getting sick about 9pm. I had both diarrhea and vomit. Both of my kids had the same throughout the night. The entire night we were all in and out of the bathroom. The following day, we had to cancel all of our memorial day plans because we were all still sick, and we were exhausted from the many bathroom trips during the night. I had to take off work on Tuesday as well as both of my kids were still sick and I was still shaky and dehydrated (peeing brown) from this experience.
How do I know it was the Panda express (as opposed to something else we ate, or a bug)? Between the time we had Panda Express and getting sick, we all had snacks. While I cannot speak for my wife and kids, I know I threw up shanghai beef, some rice, and bits of those terrible stale fortune cookies.
I plan to also send this to the manager of that establishment. That entire night I was rolling in stomach pain, contemplating calling up an ambulance as none of us were in any condition to drive, and I never felt so sick over food.
I am sure my experience was unique to this location, but still… Buyer beware. There are many other (better) places to go that cast about the same.

As a fan of Chinese food, i accept Panda Express with open arms! This place is a little taste of heaven! I don’t go here often but when i do it has my taste buds in a twist! Adding new items to the menu is ballzy and turns out to be a great idea.
At this location there are a few things i do and don’t like! For one they have a drive thru! Woopie! Best thing to happen to Panda Express since most locations ive been to have been inside Malls and i have to walk in with no makeup on, looking trashy because im tired and it doesn’t end well for me! But here i can just order outside in the comfort of my car and im good to go! Problem however is the food takes FOREVER to be served while waiting at the drive thru. Ive been patient with this place on multiple accounts and understand how small it is but i can tell others wouldn’t be happy about it because they think its fast food, it should be like Mcdonalds! But it isn’t! They like to make things fresh, run out of things and it takes longer to cook certain meats than if you were to serve fries and a hamburger! So be patient if food runs out.
Workers there have been friendly and the store is kept very clean. I haven’t had a problem at Panda that i can recall but the prices have gone up and are charging alot more. I don’t mind however since its just 20 – 50 cents more and isn’t a big deal to me.
Now here’s the good part! The food here has been made to perfection or close to it! I dislike what the Bellevue location has turned into. The food taste blah there now! Here however i get the good stuff! The chow mein noodles are my favorite! And the chicken is fantastic! Super flavorful!
So overall, do i like it? Heck yeah! Will i continue to come here? Another YEAH! Is this the best place? I honestly couldn’t tell you but i really like this location so keep up the good work!

According to panda express rules; food is fresh, made very quickly, and friendly people. You want to definitely eat there when jose, patty, nard and manager jorge are cooking. No matter who cooks its good; but they are so quick and food even fresher when they are the ones doing it. Manager (Jorge), super kind and welcoming. He has a friendly crew who has fun while they work. There are a few people (1 or 2) who could use a little customer service training and a smile. but overall friendly. If you go there often they call you by your name and treat you like family. Saw a mom and her son who go in once a week and are always treated with smile. Best panda express around. This one is worth driving too.

Fast chinese food is what you get here… They have a drive-​thru, so, clearly. The shanghai beef was pretty good. The chow mien isn’t amazing but the veggies in it are super fresh and I’m glad to see that they actually prepare their own veggies! The orange chicken tasted REALLY chemically to me… I didn’t like it too much. The meal was okay, overall. I went to the restroom during my visit here, and it smelled like straight MOLD, which leads me to wonder if they have a problem with that or not… The employees were kind of rude as well. My boyfriend was really nice to them and told them to have a good day and said thank you as we left, but they didn’t even answer us. I’m not sure I see us coming back, but it took care of my hunger!

Food was fresh, super friendly staff. We enjoyed it! This is our first time at this location but we do eat Panda often.

I’ll tell you what. I LOVE the drive-​through. The one time I did go inside, I have to agree with the people who gave low stars. The staff were pretty lame.
But… after I’ve started using the drive-​through, I have been happy with my experience here. They’ve been cheerful, apologetic when I had to wait for orange chicken, and they’ve been ensuring that everything is right.
