They have a very friendly staff. And plenty of Christmas decorations to boot. The location is excellent and the hours are very convenient it has been open for several years. I just bought a artificial Christmas tree there, and we did not want to put it together. So they sold us the one on the floor. I was very nice!

Rudest manager!
My mother went into the store on Valentine’s Day to buy gift for me and her friends…
She was walking around with a pillow for over 30 minutes.
When the manager «Wally» walked up told her-​1a that he would not sell her the pillow that was in her hands. W
hen asked why not he commented that someone had just recently purchased the pillow over the phone even though my mother had it in her hands.
When asked if he was going to physically remove it from her hands he curtly responded that; he would just not sell it to her.
Needless to say my mother did not want to cause a scene so she handed over the pillow, politely, walked away from this extremely rude and (customer-​hostile) manager.
Upon purchasing other itemsproudly handed (my mother) his card as if to say [go ahead and report me!] with a smirk on his face.
I was aghast to hear the story how my mother was treated with such discourtesy.
I’m not even able to enjoy the gifts that she gave me because it reminds me of how she was grossly mistreated!
I called the district office.
He is currently under investigation.
I’ve gone in that store before and I’ve had the same experience with (Wally the manager) he is rude, self-​important and less than helpful in every way.
It is worth driving to Slidell or to New Orleans to avoid this person and their poorly manage store that is always dirty, cluttered with no one to attend to your shopping needs…
Better yet just go online or shop on eBay, Amazon and find something elsethey even have Pier 1 merchandise at a lower price without the hassle.
The quality of the merchandise is not worth it.
