Politely went to nearby Starbucks for promised 40 minutes to fill prescription. Returned 45+ minutes later and it hadn’t been entered into their system. No longer«at the corner of happy and healthy»!

Each time I go to this pharmacy the technicians are RUDE, always give me issues with getting my medicine, and make me feel badly about the medication my DOCTOR put me on. Someone needs to put these assholes out of business, I have NEVER been treated as bad at ANY other pharmacy! DONOTGOHERE!!!

The regular staff is very good. They are super friendly and do a great job. The store is generally clean and organized ;when they are not stocking. I love their selection of «As seen on tv» merchandise. Pharmacy could use some customer service classes. And maybe even more pharmacological classes. Overall impression: good store, needs work.

ATTENTIONALLPATIENTSOFTHECOVINGTONWALGREENSPHARMACY!!! DONOTUSETHISPHARMACYIFYOUVALUEYOURLIFE!!! THEYMAKELIFEANDDEATHMISTAKES. I am a former Walgreens Pharmacy Tech, so I know exactly how things should be running in the pharmacy. If you’re having a heart attack, would you go to a hospital that has a reputation for not being able to save patients during a massive cardiac event? Would you undergo an surgical procedure in a facility that has a long history of fatal mistakes and wrongful death suits on their hands because they keep killing patients due to stupid, avoidable errors? Absolutely not in a million years. THISPHARMACYMAKESMISTAKESTHATCANKILL. As a former Walgreens pharmacy technician(not WA state), I implore you to take your RX elsewhere. This pharmacy staff is so incompetent that they cannot even order the correct medication, strength, and quantity with a full weeks worth of notice. They continuously fail to have extremely important medications ready in time for their patients next dose, which can be life threatening. They have even filled a diabetics medication with the wrong dosage which could lead to instant death if administered to the patient. Thank god the patient noticed. This complaint isn’t about customer service, which is deplorable as well, it’s about the fact that these pharmacists and techs don’t seem to care enough about their patients to pull their heads out of their asses and stop making mistakes. Does it take a wrongful death suit to wake them up? Maybe a review like this will catch someone’s eye who can actually do something about this. Ahem, Walgreens Malpractice Department, I’m taking to you. Apparently, the store management is aware of this major problem but, Walgreens is a chain & apparently has better things to do than listen to the people they have placed in mgmt positions tell them that their highly trained healthcare professionals are making mistakes that will eventually lead to a patients death if gone unaddressed. Walgreens, you are in enough trouble with the DEA over the massive amount of controlled medications are stolen by your own employees so don’t let this type of thing happen to your company also. Pharmacology is about being mind numbingly diligent, detailed, aware of critical details, alert, organized and prepared at all times to keep your patients on this earth. When those aspects of the job are missing, PEOPLEDIE. Some medications are so dose sensitive that a 0.1mg mistake can be fatal. What if you were a transplant patient and it is critical that you take your organ rejection meds every day at the exact same time and the pharmacy forgets to order your meds in time, your body begins to rejects the organ and you’re now in a life or death situation? Or you are a diabetic, they give you the wrong dose and within moments you are in a diabetic coma? If this group of «healthcare professionals» can mess up insulin doses, do you want them handling YOURLIFE??? It’s scary because it’s the tiny little details in medicine that save lives & slip ups kill. How would you feel if your grandma takes potassium chloride for her heart, they screw up and give her potassium acetate and the next day she’s in cardiac arrest? This post isn’t about me or my bad experiences because my life hasn’t been threatened but I have gotten quite sick due to their lack of care, it’s about all of the other patients who go there. I’m scared for you. One of these days, someone’s life WILL be if there isn’t change in that pharmacy. It’s not a question of if, but when unless something changes. Until this location flips their entire staff, the senior pharmacist, pharmacy manager, senior pharmacy technician, and all personnel, this place is DANGEROUS. Keep you and everyone you love away from this staff. GOTOTHEONEINKENTON132nd, just stay far away from this location. Stay healthy and stay alive. Sincerely, A former Walgreens pharmacy technician and FORMER patient of the Covington location

This review is only for the pharmacy — the store staff is great(hence the 2nd star)! Every time I have ever gone to this pharmacy, the staff is rude, abrupt, and unhelpful. They act like you are inconveniencing them by being a customer and they have to actually speak to you(God forbid). My husband and I have both waited in the drive-thru for over 10 minutes before after the pharmacist said he’d be right with us. If I wasn’t moving out of the state, I would change pharmacies in a heartbeat. One of my neighbors actually had a Facebook status the other day about how rude this pharmacy’s staff was to her and her sick child, which was then followed up by 10+ comments from other people saying they’ve experienced the same thing.

Asked question of asian lady pharmacist and think it’s just her personality to be abrupt. But the store stocks both Cooling Relief AND Intensive Relief forms of Allegra Anti-itch cream, buy one($ 7.29) get second at half off.(Tip post repeatedly failed while still in their parking lot.)
