Slowest service ever. 3 tries to get order right. I really don’t know how this place stays in business. I like an occasional slider, but this place is the worst managed in their whole system. Avoid it!

I thought I am having ok burger from famous icon during late night. Turned out might be the worst one. My credit card number was stolen. Between airport shuttle and this joint during travel & last charges. I have to say, this place might be the culprit where they did it. So beware credit card user.

One of the slowest drive-thrus I have ever been to. Took a good 7 minutes to get through with only 1 car in front of me. There were 2 cars to start but the other drive off after waiting. Repeated my order 3 times and she still rang it up wrong and had to be corrected. Apologized for the wait blaming things on the grill and ensuring that my food would be fresh. If lukewarm is fresh then I really think they need some more training.

I’d rather eat my own hand. I’d rather cut off my own head & use it as a bread bowl. Having spent the last 16 years in NYC, living directly across the street from a White Castle, I am very familiar with this establishment, or at least its pungent aroma. You don’t go for quality. You go for value, or in those moments of drunken delirium where your judgement is impaired, but not so much that you can’t still find your wallet. What passes for hamburgers here are essentially what would be scraped off the grill at most other fast food establishments. They are thin, tiny & beg you to buy more than one. Also on the menu are an assortment of fried delights, such as onion rings, cheese sticks, chicken rings & the like — even breakfast items. While it’s located in Covington’s «Fast Food District,» you may be led easily into temptation, but I suggest you resist it. If you do visit White Castle, you will be revisited by White Castle — on the toilet, later that day. More than once.

This two-star review is actually kind of favorable, considering the expectations that I bring to $ 5 meals. Actually, I rarely review fast food or established chains at all, simply because most people have tried them and already know what they think. So why this one? Two reasons: 1) I’ve been living in Austin, TX for the past several years, roughly 1,000 miles from the nearest White Castle, and nostalgia just got the better of me; 2) I also stopped eating much meat a few years back, and I’d read that their recent foray into veggie burgers was surprisingly decent. So I had to know. Truth is, the veggie slider(which you just have to know and ask about, apparently, because it’s not on the menu) actually IS pretty good: it’s lentil– and carrot-based, not trying to trick you into thinking that it’s meat, and even cooked on a separate grill from the flesh patties. Skip the optional sauces, add some jalapeño cheese, and throw some brown mustard on these things, and you have yourself a right viable expenditure of 99 cents. Given that, like all White Castles with which I am familiar, this one is open 24 hours, you have your dream low-rent vegetarian bar food waiting for you right here. And it’s a nice moral victory to realize that fast food chains(tentatively) consider people with alternative diets worth marketing to. Two stars for this location based on an average 20-minute wait time for the two visits(that’s right: I went back) we made walking from the Radisson Inn two blocks away. This is fast food only by the standards of previous historical epochs or in terms of geological time. Unscored miscellany: the surrounding neighborhood in Covington is awful, apparently supporting its economy through the licensing of a liquor store every .20 square miles. Walk there only during daylight hours and with due caution.

Don’t do this to yourself, friend. I believe in your ability to Unilocal for better food. The burgers taste like the ones you find in the freezer aisle of your neighborhood supermarket(not a good thing). Just don’t. Your friend, –Josh Saving grace is the Big Red.

This is a favorite location for my family, my husband stopped here regularly after work to pick up a sack of White Castle burgers. Late night drive up lines can get long, but moves pretty fast. They accept debit/credit cards.

It’s a white castle that’s open all the time! I don’t have a White Castle where I live, so when I’m on the road, it’s a small treat to get some of those sliders.

Used the recent coupons to get some burgers on a weekday at lunch time. This location is kind of cramped where you place your order and wait for your food. Our order of burgers and fries was freshly prepared and of normal White Castle quality. It’s known as cheap, fast food and, hey, some of us crave it occasionally! I still prefer Krystal burgers, but White Castle is a close replica!

There’s always a pivotal moment right before I order at White Castle. «Is this something I really want to do?» But after a few seconds of hesitation, I go ahead an order a few sliders, an order of fries and a Coke. Another 24-hour eatery conveniently located near Covington’s bar district, White Castle might be what you crave at 3 am, but it’s what you regret the next day. Something about those little miniature burgers is ruinous on the gastro-intestinal tract. The problem is that they are so darn tasty when they’re going down. A slider consists of a beef patty(yes, it is beef, guys), sauteed onions, a pickle slice, and cheese(costs extra) set a top a bun that has been steamed on the grill. The way the tastes blend into each other creates a unique taste only found at White Castles. White Castles is always dreaming up new ways to serve their hamburgers(with jalepenos, with French onions, etc), but many new varieties fall short of the original. Same goes for the chicken rings and chicken sandwiches. Their crinkle cut French fries are mediocre and invariably in need of salt. Cheese sticks aren’t bad and the chicken rings are pretty good.

I had always heard about the famous little White Castle burgers, but I had never tried one until today. My friend ordered two burgers, and I had a single double cheeseburger. I thought it was the grossest, most overrated crap I’ve ever eaten. It just tasted like grease and cheese on a bun. Even though there was meat and diced onions involved those ingredients were flavorless. The old lady at the counter seemed offended that our order was so small that she actually gave us attitude.
