I had the misfortune of living in Crafton for two years, but I was in walking distance of this dive, and I loved it. The bartenders are very nice, the owners are usually hanging around and they’re very genuine. The drinks are pretty cheap, and the whole bar is a community. There are regulars and locals. You’ll see a lot of familiar faces, and you won’t be surprised to find that you can be in your early twenties and make good friends with a 60-something year old man. Their food is excellent bar fare, and cheap! My only qualms are they keep weird dining hours, the place is a little small, and every now and again a dj will come in that plays the weirdest music. I miss that place more than any other bar in the trendier niches of Pittsburgh. Squirrel Hill, Bloomfield and Shadyside will never offer a bar with such a strong bond of community and friendly faces.

Music is louder than it needs to be, but the drinks are cheap and the staff is nice.
