Oh monte cellos, you have the most amazing Sicilian cut pizza that ever lived… I’ve been living in the south for 6 years and I literally dream about monte cellos pizza — it’s that good. I make it a point to stop by for my 2 cut and salad lunch special(only $ 5 little dollars btw) at least once while I am in town. I’ve never been disappointed. I’m not a heavy eater either but I stuff myself full like an unchaperoned child at a birthday party and I don’t feel any remorse after I finish the whole 2 slices. Monte Cellos is consistent at what they do and they have been around for a long time. The place is always packed, prices are reasonable, service is pretty ok mostly, location is convenient. They also have a separate bar area that makes me feel at home. Great selection of crafts and seasonals, too. Try the pie!

Forget this place. Don’t do it. Delivery orders wrong. Very late. Half the order missing. Dining in a different story. Bad food. No care in cooking or prep. Pizza is ok number 2 in the area. Best item pressured cook chicken with mash potatoes. If they closed, they wouldn’t be missed

Monte Cello’s is a neat sports/yinzer bar located off 19 in Cranberry. They are in a great location and easy to find and I go here often for lunch. They have some flat screen TVs and a separate bar area so a great place to go if you’re looking to watch some sports. Their lunch specials are fantastic! They have a consistent menu of good pasta/pizza on special every day, and then have a rotating menu for the month. The Sicilian pizza is nice and filing and the side salads are a great compliment to some of their meals. It’s relatively cheap and the food is consistent. The staff is for the most part friendly, and I can say I’ve never had a bad experience going here. Would strongly recommend salad/soups and Sicilian pizza here. If you have a chance stop in for lunch and check it out! Cheap good food with some flat screen TVs and in a nice part of Cranberry.

Two weeks ago my husband and I had dinner and a great experience at this establishment. «Aron» was our waitress providing us a fantastic CUSTOMEREXPERIENCE!!! Enough so that we will be sure to ask for her next time we visit. Aron offered us a tea to go and we thanked her but declined. Today, we returned for a quick lunch we did not expect to see Aron given the time of day. The server listed on the ticket was«NR R». I wonder if she might be using someone else’s login to cover up. She arrived at our table with an empty glass from another table setting it down on our table(this just made me nauseated-thanks for the germs). Secondly, she asked what are ya having to drink? We replied two iced teas. She took the dirty glass and left the table. A few minutes later returned with our teas. We reviewed the menu for several minutes finally being ready to order she comes back laying across the table asking what will ya have? We shared what we would like to have. When we were ready to leave we asked for a to go box and 2 iced teas to go to which she replied. Since we give free refills we don’t give tea to go cause it costs money and we just don’t have cups and paper products we can send for free. Well the first time we had dinner there we spent $ 50.00, order to go food $ 35.00 and today $ 40.00. I really didn’t care if I had to pay for another iced tea in order to get one to go it was just her attitude. We really like monte cellos as we’ve learned from our 3 weeks in Pennsylvania Italian food is the cuisine of choice as BBQ is the cuisine of choice in Texas. We will be back however if she appears to be our waitress I will be sure to ask for someone else!!!

The hot sausage casserole was AWESOME! My husband loved their lasagna, however our waitress sucked! She barely came to check on us and when she did I had to ask for a refill of my Diet Soda and husbands water, even though both glasses were empty! We are not lousy tippers by any means but we were to this waitress! All the other waitresses and waiters around us checked on their tables quite a bit so it’s not like it was before busy. The food was definitely worth the four stars I gave this restaurant if their waitress would have done a better job it would have been given 5 stars.

I agree with the bad reviews. Delivery use to be good, not anymore. Tried several times, orders screwed up, hair in food, cold. Never again.

I once again ordered delivery, got the wrong food and nobody cares. The driver defended their staff and I asked for a call back, which never happened. Order somewhere else of you want an adult answering the phone and getting your order correct.

All I can is this place is awesome. We had the white pizza and a traditional cheese pizza and it was amazing. You can tell everything is so fresh. My kids never eat the crust of pizza but where amazed at how good this was. And a balloon person came around towards the end of the meal and made them balloon hats. This is not a kids place. It is a family place. If I am ever in the area again I will come by.

Because I had to be in the area for a business meeting the next day I decided to have dinner here. A co worker recommended to eat here. Upon my arrival I asked my waitress what they were best known for and she said their pizza’s were best. From that recommendation I decided on the seafood pizza that is advertised as having shrimp, scallops and ‘sea legs’. I asked the waitress what were sea legs and she really didn’t know. Ha! Also asked for a side salad. The salad came out first and was good. I liked it(3). Then the pizza came out and looked great. It had a lot of seafood and with the cheese and garlic was very good. It was one of the better seafood pizza’s that I have had(4). I would recommend this pizza if you like seafood. The menu calls this pizza thin. I disagree. It is an average thickness pizza not thin but not thick either. My service was good. As far as the sea legs go, I could only guess it was some kind of seafood meat that was on the pizza other than the shrimp and scallops.

Ordered lunch for take out. All I can say is gross. Ordered a tossed salad and ½ of a meatball hoagie. The lettuce in the salad had seen better days, the tomato was mushy and mealy… the only thing that the salad had going for it was the dressing and the feta tasted great together. Now on to the hoagie… the meatballs were more like a meat sauce that was made from a mix of dog food and potted meat. The bread was nice and fresh though. Next time co-workers want this place… I will be sure to pass.

I don’t know why the other Unilocal profile has bad reviews because this place was awesome. I had a mini pizza because it was on special but also had to try the Sicilian which was amazing. I don’t know if the other locations are like this one or not but if I’m in the area I will definitely be back. I was here for A beer promotion and the owners were more than helpful and nice.

So I no longer live in Cranberry Twp PA anymore, however I visited this place many many many times. I’ve visited every state except Hawaii and Alaska and eaten at many Ma Pa pizza joints. This still remains on my Top 5 of all-time. Love the pizza. That is all I’m commenting on, I haven’t had the other menu items in so longer I can’t comment on them. Whenever I go back home to visit friends I stop here for pizza. The atmosphere is good. It’s too places in one. Full restaurant and Full bar side by side separate from each other. The bar even has it’s own entrance, you do not need to go through the restaurant to get in the bar. Good amount of draft beers, all liquors. Service is always great, and friendly. So of the waitress’s in the restaurant are young and can be flirty with the other kitchen staff. I think there is high turnover as far as the high school kids. But overall it’s good. You could do a lot worse.

I’ve been to other locations, but this is the first time we’d been to this location. Went with my Husband and Son. I ordered sausage casserole, my son had an extra cheese pizza and my husband had the chicken dinner. We all had the chicken dumpling soup – which we all enjoyed. The waitress was lukewarm at best and service was spotty. After dropping off the good, I realized the casserole was completely inedible. It had been left in the steam table so long it took a concerted effort to cut. The onions were raw and the sauce was burnt. The zucchini was dripping in grease. After waiting 10 minutes, we had to send another server to track down our server. Pizza was good, but the server acted like we we’re suspect for mentioning the bad dinner. I rarely send things back-but that casserole was just nasty. Not a single sorry or you’re right, it looks WRONG. I doubt we’ll return.

Monte Cello’s is the quintessential local pizza joint. Local chain, pretty good pizza and enough other stuff on the menu to please most anyone. It’s pretty good food at a decent price. The restaurant itself is super bare bones and uninspiring with uncomfortable vinyl chairs and particle board booths — welcome to Cranberry! I’ve probably had more of their menu items than I care to admit since they did regular delivery to my office for years for small and large meetings. Clear winner: traditional crust pepperoni and mushroom pizza — in my opinion the best item on their menu. Basic, tasty pizza & who can argue with that? Clear loser: Sicilian pizza — all dough and tasteless and because you can feed a crowd with this pizza cheaply and men who enjoy stuffing themselves get full, it graced my office all too often. Honorable mentions: zucchini planks appetizer, steak salad(minus the fries — geez it’s a salad), seafood specialty pizza(I used to get picked on for this until I’d offer someone a piece and then they’d order it). They offer up pretty decent food at reasonable prices and their delivery service is super dependable and friendly.
