I get a lot of massages, it’s my guilty self-indulgence. Part of the self-justification is that I always try new therapists and different locations. Having done this for almost a decade I’ve had chance to experience some really great and really bad massages. It’s actually really hard to get a «bad massage» but the point I’m trying to make is that there is a spectrum of quality. Within this spectrum David Kotler of Graham Park Massage is at the absolute top. It was hands down the best massage I’ve ever had. I grew up in Oregon, went to school in Washington and currently live in Philadelphia and of all these places David Kotler of Graham Park Massage is the best. David is literally the messiah of massage. Overall Location 5⁄5 — the interior is like a tranquil Japanese garden on a mountain top. There are carpets, bamboo room dividers, real plants and I think a gurgling fish tank somewhere. Staff 5⁄5 — the receptionist was courteous, efficient and available for questions related to the forms given before the massage. Price 4⁄5 — the only downside is the price, rather expensive but you get what you pay for. At no point did I feel cheated for what I paid; in fact I plan on returning before heading back to Philadelphia! Massage 5⁄5 — The quality of massage is really how Graham Park Massage stands out. Relative to every other massage therapist I’ve had David Kotler by technique and skill is completely unique. David is capable of both Swedish and deep tissue and switches between pressures without queue. David would apply additional pressure for tighter muscles and become soft for more relaxed muscles. I never was in any significant pain. A lot of people believe that tight muscles will only respond to extreme pressure or «the good pain». David Kotler totally blew this notion up. He was able to loosen muscles that had long been resistant to massage without ever applying enough pressure to actually hurt. It’s obvious that David has the training and he uses this to his advantage. In short, get more massages! And if you do, go to Graham Park Massage and ask for David Kotler!

As an anniversary treat my husband gifted me a facial at GP, which is my favorite indulgence. Melissa was the therapist. The setting and music was very relaxing, but above all, her technique was both gentle and rhythmic as she melted the stress from my face and shoulders and applied products to address my particular needs. It was likely the best facial I have ever had. I would highly recommend Melissa!

I was in a really bad way last week when I woke up after a restless night of tossing and turning, and landing in a position that tweaked my neck something awful. Desperate for relief, I jumped online and found Graham Park Massage wasn’t far from my home, booked appointments online, and offered a variety of treatments for what I perceive to be very fair rates. Before they even opened for the day, I was able to jump into their self-scheduling app and get in that afternoon for a 90 minute Muscle Melt. When it was time for me to turn up, I was greeted at the door and invited to slip out of my shoes and into some footie socks with tread on the bottom. Nice! The lady at the desk then led me back to the sanctuary area and offered me a beverage while I filled out my assessment form. I gladly accepted some water and parked myself in a glider rocker to fill out the paperwork. After a few minutes, the massage therapist came over to chat with me about my needs and what she would be doing during our session. The session itself was fantastically relaxing and, yes, my muscles did get melted. It’s probably been at least 8 or 9 months since my last massage, and it showed. We talked a bit throughout. I’d love to just check out completely and let massage therapists do as they will with me, but I’ve been learning over time that I still have to stay present and give at least *some* direction and feedback. Anyway, for me, the best parts were the hot stones that she used actively as part of the strokes and not just placing them somewhere on me, as well as the hot towel compress. «That. Feels. AWESOME.» were my exact words after that bit went on! The 90 minutes flew by and afterwards I felt like I had been wrung out(in a good way) and renewed into a new woman. I spent the rest of the day chugging water, and although I did wake up the next day with a few sore spots(probably from the release of tension I was holding), I can definitely say it was worth every moment and every dollar spent. They also offer a sort of loyalty program where after every 8th massage, you get credit towards your next one. Couples massages – which I intend to get for my parents – count as 2. Nice! I’ve already booked my next appointment for my birthday. :)

This place is awesome! My wife and I were greeted and treated perfectly. We got the muscle melt and it was incredible. Melissa was the therapist who did her and Linda was mine, both were very professional and would give this place 10 stars if I could.

Two of my favorite things in life.(1) Skipping work. And(2) going out for a little Julie TLC time. And I am doing both day! Every summer, I inflict cruel and unusual torture upon my cute little footsies. Damage from sandal straps, dryness, blisters, snubbed toes. Flip flops, no arch support, I’m sure you have all been there. My sweet bf tries occasionally to help. But he is no professional. That’s where Graham Park comes in. BJ has had good massages here. He was showing me their website and suggested that I get a foot massage. They have 4 different foot services. Their prices range from $ 32 to $ 74. Sounds kinda pricey. But my dogs are barking! I liked the sound of «A Run in the Park». You get an aromatherapy soak, then a 30 minute foot Reflexology session, and then are finished up with a salt or sugar scrub. Sounds too good to me! When I arrived, I was greeted by Elizabeth. She led me to a half sunny room in the back complete with zen fountain and sat me in a zero gravity chair. The foot soak was nice, so was the peppermint sugar foot scrub. But the reflexology/massage was incredible. Even each of my piggies toes got special attention, as well as my calves. The service was incredible. When I left, I was walking at least two inches off the ground. That’s how great I felt! Just a note, you can make your appointment online via their website. But for me, I prefer to schedule with a person.

Let me start by saying that graham park massage gave me the best massage I’ve ever had. Friendly staff, and great atmosphere. Me and my boyfriend just went today, and we can’t stop taking about it. If i could give this place 6 stars I would, we will definitely be returning very soon!
