Well if you decide to go during lent expect to wait about an hour to get your food. When I asked the wait staff about our food I was told we are slow here. I then asked another person for napkins and was told when he had time. The wait staff is very disorganized and can’t multi-task. They run around but accomplish nothing. I will NEVER go back again to this place. The food once we got it was good but not worth what we went through. Oh and we were over charged ordered a fish sandwich for 8.75 but it was explained to us that since it’s lent we had to pay 10.75 we clearly showed her in the menu what it said one was with a bun and one was without and we had the cheaper one but it was not worth the argument so there your tip is built into that charge you charged me.

Just had one of the best Feta, spinich and mushroom omelet… perfectly balanced with each ingredient… normally I am disappointed when I order this out but they nailed it here!

Ok place but not great. Ok food but service was slow. Very slow. And they were not busy in the kitchen. Bar is busy at happy hour then slows down. Bar is very smoky. I tend to patronize local establishments but I will look elsewhere when I’m in town.

It’s simple. Quaint little restaurant that is nothing more than a flashback to the 70’s. This is not a trendy, flashy«new» Cranberry spot. Do not expect a contemporary or even coast rustic feel. It’s pretty dated. Gaudy, yes! But don’t let that sway you. It’s «traditional» just like the menu. Try the stuffed banana peppers. Homemade and a super nice portion. I had the enormous Buffalo Chicken Salad. A ton of(im guessing poached, not fried) chicken tossed in a medium spicy sauce sitting on an entire garden of lettuce, with typical pittsburgh garnishment… Hard boiled eggs, cheese, and fries. Good olé american eats.

Love the people and the food is amazing! Super easy to find off he highway. Good prices for drinks and food as well! My dad has been going there for years and years so it’s nice to go somewhere that reminds me of him!

One visit on a weekday morning. First customer. Waitress helpful, coffee unending if/as necessary, western omlete of fine. This is not a high end chain structure but a small place on rt 19 north of Cranberry. Most would not see it in their travels. A bar is next door. Parking lot in front. A small neighborhood style of place. It has character and personality. f8 and be there.

Wife and I stopped in on a Friday night. Parking lot was packed so we were wondering if we would have to go somewhere else. There were plenty of openings in the restaurant so most must have been in the bar. We found a seat pretty easily and quickly noted the place was under staffed. There were only two waitresses handling the entire place and I imagine on most nights, this is probably fine. When we finally got the menus, one was a breakfast only one and the other had dinner. The food came out pretty quick, portions were big and it was hot. All in all, we were not in a hurry so it worked out just fine for us. We liked the laid back atmosphere and it reminded of places each of us had been throughout our lives in PA and OH.

I really enjoy Marty’s. It is a very genuine bar in the middle of a suburban mecca. The staff is beyond accommodating. I have been all around the US and Canada and have yet to find a place as welcoming as this. The alcohol is cheap and the company is great. It is one of the few places I make an effort to stop in every time I am home. Despite the months I spend away, the character remains the same. I always suggest Marty’s to my friends and it is slowly becoming reputable. Would you rather fund a large company like applebee’s or Bar Louie, or a great dive like Marty’s? If you get scared by the folks there you need to move out of PA.

It’s a dive bar– but the best one around! Cheap drinks, friendly wait staff. Why drink at expensive places when you can get the same thing at Marty’s? Steph is wonderful and caring. A kick ass bartender and a wonderful person. I have never ate there although I’ve heard the food is phenomenal. I hope to enjoy their food and kind service again soon!

It’s smokey in here. The drinks are cheap. Never actually ate here though. I wouldn’t be back if it was up to me because of the smoke, but I will probably be back because of friends.

Don’t get me wrong. This place is a dive. It smells like an old basement and the bathrooms are not inviting but the food will impress you. Everything is homemade and tastes like it came from a 4 star establishment.

This is the best dive around! Its like 2 dollars for a draft… I don’t think they have a happy hour — their drinks are cheap enough already… The food is really good too — get the wings, they are awesome, and you will NOT be disappointed! :) The bathrooms are foul, and the building smells like an armpit — theres usually a couple drunken crazies stumbling around — Marty’s is a good time…
