Been going to Carlos since I was about 8 years old, I’m 22 now Carlos is the best barber. Not only does he take his time and really pays attention to details but he also gives great suggestions when I’m thinking about changing hair styles. The only barber who knows how to deal with my coarse hair type. I don’t think I’ll ever be able to go to another barber.

Carlos always gives you a great cut. I moved out of the Cranford area but still travel to get my hair cut at Carlito’s. Carlos does not treat his customers as simply a «head». He remembers your name and remembers things about you. There is sometimes a wait but it is well worth it.

I have been going to Carlos for about a year now. One of the first things I noticed is he has excellent skills in making sure every patron is comfortable in his establishment. There is usually a small line, but I think that goes more to his credit than against it. His cuts are always on point. It’s good to see this old-​school barber doing well. Highly recommended place.

I stopped in early on a Saturday, there was a few people waiting and 1 hair cutter Carlos, I think he’s the owner. He didn’t rush the hair cut and did a great job, and finished it off with straight razor on the neck. I will be making Carlos my new barber, clean cut, friendly environment, awesome fade.

Went here for the first time yesterday and I realized Carlos screwed up my haircut one I got home. I was was so disappointed even after all the good reviews in Unilocal.This is the first time this has ever happened. He chopped a large portion of the hair in the middle of head, which is completely uneven. This will be the last time for me. I’m sure he’s a great barber, but he did a horrible job on me.

Friendly environment, Great service, A great hair cut and shave. What else can you ask for? Carlos and Freddy both cut hair with that barbers precision that when you leave, you know you have the best haircut in town. I go to Carlos for either a Brook or a fade and to get my beard and eye brows shaped and trimmed up and always leave looking and feeling like $ 1,000,000.00. I have been going to Carlos for years/​decades and of course my son’s first haircut was done by Carlos as well. I wouldn’t trust my son’s hair with any other barber. His prices are real good, shop is in a perfect location and the environment is as friendly as it can gets

Great barber/​stylist. Carlos is extremely talented. He will make suggestions but never impose his will. He takes time with his clients. He knows them all by name. He has a pleasing, easy-​going personality. He takes time to learn what you like in a hair cut. It is a great experience, but most importantly — you get a great cut — time after time.

Been going to Carlos for almost 15 years. You definitely get the traditional barbershop treatment when you sit in his chair. Really nice down to earth guy. Treats every client with respect. Even after I moved from the area to northern Bergen county, I still take my 37 mile (each way) trip every 2 weeks to get my haircut from Carlos. Highly recommended!

Carlito’s is an ideal barbershop for all your barbering needs. The owner clearly cares about all his patrons, greeting them by name and knowing what’s going on in their lives. It’s not just mindless chit chat but its clear he cares. His styling is great. Gives a real old style barber shop feel — even takes out the straight edge to finish up your trim. The only downside is there’s usually a wait, but the wait is worth it. A great small town feel and a great barber shop. Highly recommended.
