I have had their food on numerous occasions as lunch delivery to my workplace and found the food quite good. Decided to try to dine in for an early dinner. I was the only patron dining in here. A table of delivery boys was next to me, loud and obnoxious, oblivious that this is a place of business and not their hang out. There were two women behind the counter. There was no table service– I had to order at the counter and pick up at the counter, though I was dining in and I had mentioned that in advance or ordering. I had ordered a large meatball pizza and salad. Well the meatballs were actually crumbles– not exactly slices of a meatball. In total there was definitely not enough to my liking or expectation, and not worth the extra price for so little of it. Otherwise the pizza was delicious. Thin crust flavorful sauce. The salad was definitely overpriced 6.95 for a «side salad» which was what I had ordered. Now that I view the menu a «family dinner salad» is the same price. Ok will skip that next time. Finally, as I can not finish a whole pie on my own, i requested to take ½ pie/4 slices home(yes at the counter because no one ever came to me at the table the entire time i was there) The way it was packed was disgraceful. 4 slices on top of each other in a white paper bag! Clearly it could have fit in a small size box, and clearly customer service is not this places’s strong-suit. My total was about $ 25 plus tax and yet did not at all feel appreciated as being a customer, Will stick to occasional workplace delivery lunches and not return. Why bother? They didn’t seem to care.

This place seems like it’s been around forever. It’s not because of the décor. It’s not because of the staff. It’s not because of the location. It’s because of the delicious, thin crust pizza. I’ve tried dozens of pizzerias in the area and this is consistently the best. Try it.

Just ordered the cheese steak sliders, and I have to say they were really good to my surprise. Noticed some new workers in there(same owners). Laughing and joking with each other, more upbeat attitudes which is always a plus.

We had tried this place a few years ago and found the pizza to be greasy and bland. Nothing has changed. I cannot find anything positive about this pizza: cheap oily cheese, bitter sauce and tasteless dough. I would not recommend.

The pizza at this place is amazing. As an avid pizza lover I can attest that this place has some of the best pizza in Union County. My reason for giving 4 stars instead of 5 is the poor customer service. Few, if any, of the employees seem to enjoy customer interaction and I question how much they appreciate the business. There specialty pizzas are untouchable though, so I will continue to accept the grumpy employees.

We get plain pie here a lot because it is close to home, and the pizza is not bad. But whoever takes the orders over the phone(a guy this time) is soooo unfriendly(and has a «whatever– you’re a nuisance» tone) and whenever I call, I grit my teeth placing my order with this brute sounding guy.

incredible! I had the calzone with meatball & pepperoni– it was cooked perfectly with enough filling too. The garlic bread with cheese was fresh, crunchy and seasoned just right. The sauce was not watery. thick and not weak– had flavor. SOO much better than their neighbor, Brooklyn Pizza(see my previous review) I will be back to Pizza House!

Average pizza, slightly below average other food. Surly counter people. Both times. I always try a place twice before I comment on the staff because sometimes it’s just a bad day or a bad apple. This place was consistently sour. And it wasn’t teenagers behind the counter. It was a middle aged woman who might have been the owner. The food at this place doesn’t make up for the customer service and with so many other choices in town, we won’t be back.

…found that the veal parm hero was tasty but was sparse on the hero. The bread was small and real light on the meat. When I found a piece of meat to taste it was good but even that was a fleeting moment. The family garden salad was good.

By far, the best whole wheat pizza i’ve ever had in my life. The healthy choice is delicious, but if you’re not a veggie guy, put any of their meats on that whole wheat crust and get it well done. my god, best pie i’ve ever had. also, its healthier due to it being a whole grain crust. Their calzones are to die for and so are their regular thin crust pizzas.

Was working late one night, and decided to get food from here. It’s been a while since i’ve eaten here… but was surprised to see that the same people were still here behind the counter. I ordered a «small» Calzone… when i got back to the office, and opened up the food, i was pleasantly surprised to find the almost foot long«small» calzone. The dough was cooked perfectly, and the filling was nice(Ricotta, mozzarella and some pepperoni and onions). So much food… had enough for a second meal. For a local pizza joint, the food is great, and the prices very reasonable.

I went here every weekend as a kid and recently returned, the pizza is still delicious, probably because its run by the same ladies as 30 years ago. Thin but not crackery, with a nice chew, but not too dense. Really a very good pie in a town full of pizza.

I have been getting pizza here for 15 years and the thin, seseme crust is the best. When my family is in town they all ask me to order pizza from Pizza House. Great that they deliver to Westfield. Best pizza around! Deb

I just recently moved to Cranford, and it definitely takes awhile to find your local favorites. But yippie, a pizza joint that delivers! I don’t know what it is about Cranford, but the couple of pizza places I have gone to don’t. I love their pizzas! It’s thin crust, and the sauce is flavorful. They have other Italian dishes you can order too. So the place probably gets a «D» for customer service, but still it’s not like I’m paying an arm and leg for food either. One other thing that is an inconvenient is they don’t accept credit cards!
